Our first time leaving our pup at Pet Paradise and we had a great experience. She is 15yrs old and gets anxious but they did everything to make her feel welcome and comfortable. We booked the Tiny Town Cabana for 5 days with daily picture and report updates and a bath at the end. Very clean and spacious. Highly recommended.

I have sent my dogs here for years. I trusted that when they told me my dogs wouldn’t eat that they diligently tried different ways to get them to eat. I trusted when they told me one of my dogs was so nervous that she wouldn’t leave her kennel for the first couple of days that skilled dog trainers attempted to befriend her. Now, I don’t trust this place at all. I now see that they don’t really have trained professionals like they want to advertise. I went to check my dogs in on 12-15 and they told me my dogs couldn’t board because my vet put the word “cough” on the paperwork. I told them it was a chronic cough and more like a hack like a cat does. He has had it half his life and I have had several veterinarians tell me it’s because of his snout anatomy. It’s common with chihuahuas. The front desk clerk was NASTY to me and treated me like I was trying to bring the bubonic plague into the facility. When I brought my adorable 9-month-old puppy in and put him on the counter, the front desk clerk DEMANDED I take him off HER counter immediately! If you don’t like dogs, don’t work at a kennel… I asked for a manager since the desk clerk was clearly uneducated and useless. I told the manager that I’m a veteran nurse of 17 years and that I would never put my dogs or other dogs in harm’s way. The manager told me that she can’t just trust me word. Oh really? Yet the customers should trust your words? Then the manager said even if I had a note from the vet saying the dogs were safe to board, they would not board them due to the cough. I told her my dog has stayed in the past with the same cough without issue. I scrambled to find another kennel while my rare time off that was supposed to be relaxing was now crisis management. New Tampa Pet Resort apologized profusely for what I had to go through with Pet Paradise and took my dogs with open arms. I love that New Tampa Pet Resort has an indoor play area for the cold days. They gave PawGress reports on my happy babies while they stayed. I received a call from Pet Paradise stating that they received a letter from my vet and that my dogs are welcome to come and be boarded. I will NEVER board with this place ever again. Trust and rapport are gone. Response to owner: A vet from the clinic called Pet Paradise and said my dogs are safe to board per the vet that saw my dog. That wasn’t good enough. This isn’t about the health of the animals, this is incompetence and poor customer service.

The facility was very very clean, organized, well taken care of, and efficient, and the staff were very friendly. You could tell they cared for your pets and enjoyed the work they do. I felt like I could trust them with my pets and I felt like the facility was top-notch, clean, organized and a safe place for my dogs. I also loved that I could opt in for digital report cards of my dogs, as well as baths for them before pick up. When we picked up the boys, they were clean, happy and so tired after a week at Pet Paradise!

We like Pet Paradise, they take good care of our dog. It is a little pricey. One thing I do not like is the charge you if you don’t want your dog to join the group playtime. They insist you pay for a one on one other than an added to a pretty good place.

Great! My dog sunbathed and enjoyed play time! They took care of him. (I have to edit this today) i am so grateful for them, they cared for my baby when i couldn't get back to get him, from Hurricane Ian.

Both of our labs came home clean and shiny after their day at Pet Paradise in Wesley Chapel, Florida..After playing, swimming and running, they had a bath. They are both so tired i am sure they will sleep well tonight. They will go back again soon..

New groomer cut my neighbor's Yorkie's paw open. I heard a German Shepard passed away there.Past employee told me there are no A/C's in the back, only fans ( probably what killed the German Shepard). I'll keep my dog at home, thanks.

Wouldn’t recommend for day camp. Tried it to see how it is. Checked the camera periodically and only saw my two dogs out playing once. Spent more time in the cage watching other dogs play than actually playing. Won’t be going back.
