We stopped on our way through Tarpon Springs on Saturday evening. Wow, this was a small chunk of Greek perfection! The casual atmosphere was super clean, cool and delightful ... the Greece photos added to the charm. Our server was sweet and helpful. But, the food, that was the star. The portions were huge! And, the favors amazing! I'm thrilled we discovered this restaurant! We will be visiting again.

I ordered the gyro platter with lamb/beef meat and lemon potatoes instead of fries, it was great! My daughter ordered the hummus appetizer, and it was mostly unremarkable. Our server was very attentive, and professional. There was plenty of seating, our food was cooked fresh, and we would come back.

The best Gyro in Tarpon Springs! I ordered the pork gyro. I couldn't believe how big it was. Tasty and flavorful. Ioanna took excellent care of me. I gave a five star rating on the atmosphere because it reminds me of Greece.
I can't wait to go back and try some of their other dishes. Pastitso, Mousaka etc

Had the Skepasti Gyro Sandwich a Greek take on a club sandwich and the baked Feta with Fylo. Both outstanding choices. Great portion sizes and a small diner vibe. My only complaint was $4 for a can of soda is a little extreme. Other than that, I highly recommend this place.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. From the outside this looks like a so so Greek sandwich shop. Once inside it looks average. But everything changes when you a greeted by the staff. It gets even better when you get your food. The menu provides a variety of authentic Greek food. The portions are substantial and the taste is incredible.
Our waitress was Vicky who was very attentive, pleasant, professional and friendly. All of this came at a very reasonable price.

Their grilled pork kabobs and pork souvlaki are the finest in the whole town of Tarpon Springs. Their shrimp in tomato based sauce was also awesome. The owner/ chef is a real Greek from Thessaloniki. The food is so good that we went back a second time.

I’ve eaten gyros and doner kebabs all over the world. This place is amazing! It’s as close as eating in Greece that you can get without being there. The pita kebab was awesome and more than worth a trip to Tarpon Speings to eat at The Greek Taverna. Don’t skip the Mythos beer!

The food here was fabulous and authentic. It is a simple decor, very family friendly. The portions were very good and thoroughly enjoyable.

The gyros were good. Service was quick and the staff was friendly. I think they deserve 4 stars but I was very close to 3 stars because the gyros were not hot and slightly warm. I also think a can of Coke for 4.00$ is a bit much.

It was our first time in this small historic town, we decided to stop for lunch. The place was cozy and the food was very good, but inside the restaurant it was unbearably hot. They had no air conditioning, only a ceiling fan. It was uncomfortable to eat and be comfortable.
