Our Grady was displaced during the hurricane and spent 8 months getting fixed up on the outside but the cabin was never touched! Matt came out and gave us an estimate, told us a date he could do it and communicated well with emails and text, did the job faster than expected for less than the estimate!
He did a great job and next time we need a complete detail he will be the one!

I have a 2023 Ranger Tug 29 CB. She was trucked from Seatle during the snow storms in Jan 2024. She was washed off after delivery, but I have never had a chance the see the real color of the Awl grip paint and the shine of the numerous stanchions all around, until Mat offered his expertise to detail her.
Mat has made an excellent job in all areas of the boat. He even fixed the stairs at the bow damaged in one of the hurricanes the last year. He also checked my zincs.
He was always on time and did what he promised.
I wish we had more “Mats” in the boating business.
I trust, Mat will do similar high quality job as we agreed that he will return to my boat quarterly.

MJ’s team took an absolutely destroyed gelcoat that has been ignored for years and brought it back. Minor areas of burn through that were there before they started but the rest looks like a brand new boat. Highly recommend. Excellent communication and they showed up when and where they said they would.

Unparalleled service!! Matt actually answered the phone every time I called and was very patient with my questions and concerns answering everything with total confidence. He showed up when he said he would, promised me results I thought may have been a bit lofty due to the condition of my boat, but agreed to his price and away we went. Andrew was my technician who came to perform the service. Just to let you know, my boat was so bad it had to be sanded inside and out twice before the actual compounding could begin. 42 hrs later, my boat looks brand new!!! '95 ProLine has never looked so good. These guys know their stuff and believe me when I say, worth every penny!! Matt?? Thanks again!!

I HIGHLY recommend MJ Detailing and Cleaning. Our boat looks brand new and the attention to detail in the service was ABOVE everything we expected. This is our 3rd company to have detail our boat in the 3 years we have owned it. I can tell you - this is the final one because we will be repeat/long term customers now. I contracted with Mat to paint the two Caterpillar 3208TA engines in my 1996 55 Fleming. I am the fourth owner of the boat and it was easy to see that some spot painting had been attempted throughout the years, but the engines were in need of a full makeover.
Mat took on the project and put in a significant number of hours prepping the engines and creating a “paint booth” to minimize paint (sprayed) wandering beyond the target. The result of Mat’s efforts is two “like new” engines and one happy boat owner.
I found Mat to be committed to the project, to the quality of his work and punctual with regard to scheduling the work so it could be completed on a timely basis. I would recommend Mat for any detailing work your boat might need.
