Our Aussie/border collie mix hadn't been to a groomer so he had matting on his back legs. I researched and found Blue Pet Shop and Dan. He did exactly what I had in mind. Thumper looks great and is definitely much more comfortable. So glad we found Dan!!!

They took us in last minute and did an amazing job on our princess! She smelt great, looks beautiful and it is way cheaper than all these other places that rip people off. 10/10 will be bringing her again. Thank you guys!

Literally the most loving groomer you can find! Our pup is always super happy to see Josandra and never stresses to come for the groom and bath. We are incredibly happy we found Josandra and will definitely be coming back to her every month!!! The best groomer in Tampa Bay Area!!!

I had an amazing experience at Blu Pet Spa! They did an outstanding job bathing and grooming my two large pitbulls, Prince and my senior rescue Harley, who’s 11 years old. The front desk lady and groomer were so professional, caring, and went above and beyond—even helping me load Harley into the car after her grooming. Both dogs came out looking fantastic, with shiny coats and happy faces!I will be back because I couldn’t be happier with the service and highly recommend Blu Pet Spa to anyone looking for top-quality grooming. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my fur babies!

This is the first time taking my little Zoey to Blu Pet Spa and I'm so glad I did! I like my Pomeranian fluffy and some groomers take off too much hair, The groomer did everything I asked for. It was perfect! She even put a little bow on her ears and diamonds on her face. So cute! It was perfect! This picture was taken after Zoey had rolled around on the carpet to take off the sweet little diamonds on her face.

They did a great job with my two pups. They were able to get me in the same day and the prices are fair. I love that there is a Vet on staff. I also can buy a variety of fresh treats and the pups loved them. Very clean space as well. Definitely will bring them back.

Took my puppy to get bath and nails cut, dropped her off and she was happy moving around and cheerful, when they called me to pick her up alomt 5 hours later, she didnt greet me or my kids as she normally would, she just laid down. Couldnt jump up into the car, wouldnt bark or play around. Shes a goldendoodle that should say enough about the energy level. She was completely lethargic throughout the entire night. Would never bring my dog here again, I dont recommend

Absolutely wonderful experience with Josandra at Blu Pet Spa. We couldn’t be happier. She grooms and shapes up our shih tzu like no other, and really takes her time to ensure the best outcome for your pet…Our little Skye always comes out looking her best and smelling beautiful. I can’t get over how picture perfect our dog always looks after seeing her. Lovely person, lovely salon! Thank you for your hard work and great care for our dog. Josandra and company, you get 100 stars!

My experience at Blu Pet Shop and Spa was extremely positive – the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The grooming of my dog was just as I had wanted and, considering he has ear sensitivity, they treated him very gently as in other places they will not clean them.I would highly recommend this to others. This local, family owned business was absolutely a delight! They got us in on short notice and were very accomodating! They did an amazing job on my mini-goldendoodle (not the easiest dog to groom) and treated all of us with excellent service! Not to mention, they have the cutest pet boutique! We all left happy!! Today I write this recount with great sadness and a heavy heart on the tragic preventable death of our dog, Berlin, who was a 4 year old healthy Pug that passed away yesterday afternoon on Friday, September 22, 2023 while in the care of the Blu Pet Shop & Spa located at 4802 Gunn Highway; Ste 152, Tampa 33624. Anyone that brings their furry family member to a groomer thinks that they are bringing them to a docile, safe & friendly environment where they would be treated/handled with upmost extreme care and attention. Unfortunately this was not at all the case of what happened on 9/22 at the Blu Pet Shop & Spa. Berlin died due strangulation/suffocation caused by extreme negligence. When the owner of the pet shop spoke to us she only informed me that he had a purple tongue and stopped breathing. Our dog arrived at the vet dead. They confirmed and reported to the vet that they had a muzzle on his mouth in which they were holding him by his muzzle, neck and body extremely tight to keep him from struggling while they tried to clip his nails. As a result - They killed our dog. When we arrived at the hospital Berlin had his eyes open and his tongue hanging out! It was a horror scene and I come here to warn you everyone to be diligent who you leave your dogs with. I don't want any family to have to go through the pain we are going through right now. This is documented on the vet report and we also have an autopsy pending. The vet confirmed that muzzles should NEVER be put on snub nose dogs due to their existing natural problem of breathing much less have their mouths covered while a muzzle is on them! The owner of the clinic informed us that when Berlin went there he would become very nervous/anxious and would normally have shortness of breath. She says she was a a veterinarian in Brazil. There was a previous incident which we were never made aware of until the day of the incident where she indicated that at a prior visit he had stopped breathing and she gave him mouth to mouth and resuscitated him. SHE NEVER TOLD US THIS HAD HAPPENED PREVIOUSLY. She also denied letting us see recordings, saying they don't have cameras in the establishment! The veterinarian said that he had something preventing him from breathing through both his mouth and nose. I come here warn everyone not to take your animals to this place. We believe that every animal deserves a safe and loving environment, especially when entrusted to the care of professionals. It is our duty as responsible members of society to protect those who cannot speak for themselves. JUSTICE FOR BERLIN! PLEASE SHARE SO NO DOG NEEDS BE TREATED WITH SUCH BRUTALITY AGAIN AND NO FAMILY HAS TO NEEDLESSLY GO THROUGH WHAT WE ARE GOING THROUGH TODAY!

I WENT THERE FOR THE FIRST TIME WITH MY ADORABLE CAT NAMED PITA. PITA HAD SOME MATTING BETWEEN HER REAR LEGS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. REASONABLE PRICES AND VERY NICE PEOPLE, AND VERY GOOD QUALITY GROOMING, IN AND OUT VERY FAST. I WILL DEFINITELY GO AGAIN AND AGAIN IF NEEDED.

I had a French Bulldog and he was a client of Blu Pet Shop. Austin wasn't very friendly, and even so, he was always received with all the affection, care, and attention by everyone there! I've been to Blu several times and seen other pets, all very well cared for! Josandra, in addition to being an excellent professional, is a true pet mom and passes that on to everyone who works there, conveying security to all pet owners who use her services. Unfortunately, what happened was a tragedy, and this doesn't invalidate or discredit the work of this Pet Shop. Today we no longer have Austin, but I would certainly use their services with another animal!
