This company is a shame, this is what they changed me over $1300.00dollars for. Call for a mobile marine welder they showed up at my house with no tools or welding equipment. Took pictures said they had to diagnose the problem, told them when I called that I needed a new skeg welded on, hence why I called a mobile marine welder. Tech told me had to be done at there shop. I myself removed the lower unit, drained the fluid and took the prop off. Then placed it in the Tech van. All he did was take some pictures. Later that evening the tech called and stated " I have your quote ready for review that the total for everything was $793.00. I ask multiple times if that was for everything complete repair and bring back install on boat with fluids he yes everything. I ask at least three time and was promised that they would take care of everything. All they needed was a credit card on file to start I did not authorize them to charge anything until the job was completed. Next day I check my account and see they had charged my account. I then called them thinking they must have fixed the problem and was done. I also said that I myself would come pick my lower unit up. They responded that it wasn't fixed yet. I ask why was my account changed $793.00 he said that for the service call and diagnosis of the problem what the hell. It needed a new skeg put on anyone can see what the problem was. And I ask why I was charged $193.00 for a service call when all the tech did was transport it back to the shop. Called corporate to try and get some assistance they stated " let's just agree to disagree" easy for them since they had my money and lower unit right. He gave me the address where to pickup my lower unit. Upon arrival at the address they said my stuff wasn't even there, it was at another shop getting welded WHAT. Then said we don't do any welding here!!!!!! I waited over an hour for them to retrieve my lower unit. Later that day I my account was charged another $545.00 for what I have know idea as you can see nothing was accomplished or welded and it was completely disassembled. Over 1300.00 for nothing complete scam. Had to take it toa real Marine mechanic, he said why did they even disassembled. He said what a joke and how does such a big company continue to scam and decieve boat owners. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!. And apparently they have done this multiple times according to all the negative reviews they have received. Hope this helps people from be taken advantage of in the future. Sincerely Clinton

Boater beware, our boat was there for minor hurricane damage and it took 2 months. They do not have cradles so they literally charged us rent that was as much as the repair with the response the insurance will pay for it. The communication was good in the beginning and then went down hill. The boat actually looks worse than before the storm with the exception of the 2 dibits they did a fiberglass repair on. We paid for a full gel coat but they didnt do it, it totally spotty and got it all over the chrome and trim pieces. When they finally said the boat was ready, turns out it wasn’t but they didnt know that until it was back at our dock. We paid for a full detail, it had muddy foot prints and compartments were missed. Sean was our point of contact but we felt they totally let us down. They never sent anyone back to fix the gel coat and their estimate was a total miss. I read that in other reviews so sounds like a normal occurrence. Im giving 2 stars because I should have done more research so one star is a gift. Be careful so you’re not disappointed.

Absolute trash. All of these reviews must be fake because nobody in their right mind would give a five star review to accompany that is full of scam artist I asked For the Weeknd then they scheduled me for a week in advanced. I called back and asked why they scheduled me for a week in advanced and if they could reschedule me, they said no problem and I was told the appointment was set for the weekend. They ended up coming out same day awesome no problem. I didn’t ask for that, but hey, I’ll take it. He’s there to look at my boat for an hour no more no less. We never agreed upon a price He didn’t fix My boat, he diagnosed the problem. All is well I was going to call to reschedule a new appointment until I looked at my bank statement telling me that it Cost over $800 just for him to come out and diagnose it no parts, no labor no reasoning to why I should charge this much. I did not ask for expedited service I asked for a weekend service. I feel taken advantage of. No one in the right mind would ever agree for someone to come look at their boat for one hour and not even fixing it. I hope they do the right thing and make Ray on this issue and I can come and change his review but until then this review stands and nobody should ever use Poseidon marine mechanics.

On behalf of the boating community. What kind of scam are you guys running??? Multiple people in these reviews can't be wrong about the unauthorized charges to credit cards that you guys are doing. I've seen the proof of what was supposed to be charged and what you guys end up charging people. And then you guys love to come on peoples reviews of your company and try to say that they were authorized? You guys will probably just shut down the company and open up under another name like a true scammer would. I love this response from another company that fixed your mess up. Worst experience with this company. They never fixed our issue with the gas leak but charged every time for service when they didn’t even fix the issue that they said was repaired. The communication was horrible and do not recommend ever using them!
