Dr. Fritz is the absolute best. I have a dog suffering from allergies and she’s taken the time to make sure I understand, and that I don’t have any questions. She also makes time to answer follow up questions, that I may not have thought of at the moment. She’s a genuine kind, and human person, that does her best to make sure your pet has the best life possible. I cannot be more thankful for how understanding she’s been as I’ve learned to navigate my babies itchies. We are on the path to recovery/maintenance and it’s gonna be a journey, but I’m glad I have her in my corner! Baby post bath, and coat looking shiny and healthy again!

We moved to Palmetto and I still drive up to come here. We love this vet so much. The techs at the front are so sweet and knowledgeable. We love Dr. Wade but have seen one of the others that have been amazing too. They are so honest, upfront and they really care. Very reasonable and upfront prices. My dogs also love coming in. This is Bear waiting for doc to come back.

Since coming to Southbay I’ve had a few emergency situations with my pups and they helped at both times! Not sure if we were just lucky at the time but they were extremely caring and did there absolute best in both emergency situations! I am so thankful for this place! And my one most difficult is aggressive towards other animals( she’s extremely anxious and uneasy) and they are so kind to help make sure there are no animals in waiting room while we enter and leave! We get exceptional service and im so embarrassed but they make me feel ok about it! And they always listen and never push things that we don’t need! I love this about them also:)

Dr Fritz & her staff are wonderful. My daughter has had Dr Fritz with her Mini Schnauzer for years & really likes her. I recently acquired an American Cocker Spaniel puppy & started taking him there. He is the light of my life so I really wanted a good vet. I haven’t had a puppy for many years so I’ve had lots of questions. She is so patient with me & with Jethro. She is a sweetheart & is so gentle. I think you will be very happy with your experience at Southbay Animal Hospital.

We see Dr. Wade typically and have also seen Dr. Fritz. Amazing vet practice! They are so good at explaining everything and keeping my babies comfortable. Also, I will never forget how gentle and respectful Dr. Wade was when we had to put my best friend down. The entire staff made a very tough situation as gentle as it could be, and even sent a lovely card signed personally by everyone. I will never forget how kindly they treated us. Additionally, they have a great puppy package. They do wonderful getting us scheduled quickly and no extensive wait time, they’re pretty prompt about appointment times. This is a great business.

This is the second time I’m reviewing this place but only because I love them so much. My senior cat went in for a routine dental, and I was nervous about putting her under. They reassured me they would take great care of her- and they well exceeded that promise! We picked her up and not only did her dental go perfectly, but her nails were clipped, ears cleaned out, and she was brushed and treated with waterless shampoo. This was above and beyond, I feel like they really care about their patients. I’ll be taking my cat here for the foreseeable future. Thank you Southbay ❤️

Fantastic clinic! We always receive great care. For routine/annual exams to acute care, we have received years of superior care for our dogs. Sadly, we have had to say goodbye to some of the older dogs in our pack over the years but the care from beginning to end is compassionate.

As a first time pet owner it is often quite scary when our beloved pets show signs of an illness. I am eternally grateful for the Southbay Animal Hospital for treating both me and my pet with care. Our appointment was easy to book, and the appointment was informative. Dr. Fritz is informative, gentle, and thorough. She even made sure to calculate how much calories we were feeding our pet, and how much calories we should be feeding our pet. They even gave us a free dose of flea and tick medicine! Our Vet tech also made sure to keep our pet and us very comfortable with wonderful conversation and laughs. I can't stress how important it is for your vet to keep both the owner and pet stress free during a very stressful scenario. Overall if you want the best veterinary care for your pet, this is the place to go.

My little yorkie mix injured his back. He was in extreme pain causing him to cry, shake and he could barely walk. The staff were very warm and welcoming across the board. They made me feel at ease. They took such great care of my baby and prescribed him with three different medications. Once we got home I gave him the medications and with in one hour he was no longer crying, panting, shaking and was chewing on his favorite toy which he hadn’t done in 3 days. I will definitely be coming back.
