On-Site Boat Repair today, through Buddy the owner, Chris the office coordinator, and Brian our boat technician, serviced my Everglades Center Console boat, particularly working on my Yamaha 300 by checking and changed all fluids, filters, impellers, plugs, and more.
Also, Brian efficiently investigated and repaired a stubborn trim hydraulic leak on the motor, which prevented the motor from raising and lowering.
My opinion on On-Site Boat Repair? - They are FANTASTIC in that:
1) They kept me totally informed beforehand of the process they were going to follow to diagnose the boat’s possible issues and service needs.
2) They provided beforehand a very thorough written detail work & cost estimate proposal so that I, as a customer, had an very good idea, ahead of time, of what work would be performed, and to use as a solid discussion tool for me, as a customer, to see and then to use as a basis to agree to proceed.
3) On-Site used only OEM parts, and was very exact in procuring those quality parts which would then possibly be needed beforehand, and early on in our discussions, On-Site obtained from me my engine’s serial numbers and boat reference codes, which they then used as a basis to preorder all anticipated parts needed.
4) Plus, only then, after they made sure all parts were available, did they thereafter final-schedule their visit/work on my boat (this saved time and assured that all component parts used were available, and that they 100% matched what my engine really needed).
5) On the morning of the day the work was to be performed, On-Site Boat Repair made certain to call beforehand to confirm their arrival! Great communication!
4) When Brian, the technician arrived at my boat lift he was personable, extremely knowledgeable, walked me through everything he was doing, and was super informative indicating to me what he found, along with providing me detailed tips on how to best prolong the good working mechanics of my Everglades, due to the challenging Florida environment we all love and boat in!
5) After the work was completed, and Brian provided his technician report to On-Site Boat Repair’s office, Buddy, the owner called to be sure I was totally satisfied with the work performed, and to assure me that if I have any issues at all down the road, to then immediately contact him for their assistance!
Now that is what I call 100% Customer Service!

I was referred to On-Site boat repair by a local with "all the knowledge." During a ridiculously busy time of the year they were able to squeeze me in within days to replace the trim motor on one of my outboards. I had already acquired the part, the wrong part of course. In evaluating my boat, we found the other trim motor was also in really rough shape. The owner of On-Site, Buddy was able to source the parts locally and have my boat up and running that day. On-Site is a local, family owned business that cares about their reputation and getting your job done as reasonably possible.

They did fix my Boat but with a delays of not showing up due to a mechanic was sick, the weather, other boats took more time. I will not use them again because I have an extended warranty and They require to be paid in full for parts first, then when they get paid from the extended warranty, they'll reimburse me. We'll that's fine but It's been a month or more, promised many times that my refund has been processed but have not received. Now Buddy won't answer my calls, texts or call back. Maybe I'll get a call now.

My first experience with On-Site was excellent. I sent an email to inquire about service and was almost immediately called back. The appointment was scheduled and arrival was right on time. the 20 hour service with my boat on the lift was all I had hoped for. One lube point was exceptionally tight and the angled adapter for the grease gun wasn't available. (I have one now). Any question I had were answered completely. I expect to be a regular customer.

Had boat for over 4 months and paid him for everything that he did.Still not running right.Just a sample of Buddy's way of doing things,He told me that he had my head machined and charged me accordingy, then after it still wouldn't seal he admitted that he didn't machine it and that him and his "friend" ground on it with a stone.Then he charged me again for head machining.He delivered boat to me and said it was fixed,asked how he verified he said he could tell by sound.
