My dental experience at HFHC was really good. I have a HUGE dental phobia and was having three teeth extracted, Dr. Au and his assistant Nicole were so great with me. They made me feel comfortable the entire time and also verbally told me what was happening step by step to help ease my anxiety. Dr. Au included me in the entire treatment plan and his assistant Nicole helped me to schedule my future appointments prior to leaving the office, making me feel extra comfortable for the rest of my visits to them.

Dr. AU & his assistant Lexie went above and beyond for my wife today at there dentistry in Ocala. They got my wife in immediately today for a broken tooth and did an extraction.
These two amazing people also pulled two teeth on our 9 year olds son mouth and they made him feel beyond comfortable to where he even said he’d be happy going back as well
We do and always will highly recommend Dr. AU. Great job guys all around

Hello my name is Jersey and I had a dental appointment on 8/12/ 2025. My Dentist was HOPE and she was amazing. I came in as a new patient, and I was extremely scared. But her attitude And professionalism Was amazing. She went over and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable. She explained every thing that I asked or was curious about in full detail. Lexie and Dr. Au were absolutely amazing today as well as Debbie. Debbie called patients to see if they were coming in to see if she could get me and then called me back to tell me I could come in for an emergency appointment.
During my visit Lexie and Dr Au looked at my X-rays and seen how much pain I was in and did a same day removal of my tooth. Hands down best dental care I have had.
Dr. Au even saw our son and was so kind to him and made him not nervous. He and his staff is reason we will choose them for our dental care.

So I am a patient at heart of Florida medical. But this was my first experience with their dental side. I am not young, and have nothing but horrible experiences with dentists. But from the moment I walked in they were great. I am quite scared and have a horrible gag reflex. I told them upfront and they worked with me and did not get frustrated. I’ve never had that experience. Last dentist I was at the assistant taking the xray threw it almost at me when I kept gagging during the xray. Nothing like that here. They worked with me helped me and never once got annoyed. I saw Dr. Au he was very good very thorough, really good at explaining the procedure to me and making me less worried about having the tooth pulled. And that’s hard for me when I’m nervous I am all in. I’m way less nervous to go back and get it taken care of. Hope, Rayleigh and Dr. Au are amazing and I highly recommended this place especially for those of us who have fears and have not so good dental experiences. They will change your mind. Also if you don’t have insurance they have a sliding scale fee! And you don’t get treated differently, no matter what!
Update- I had my tooth pulled here and I am 49 years old and never had a good experience at a dentist. And they were simply amazing, all of them. My tooth turned out to be extremely hard to remove. That is an understatement. Dr. Munguba and she had Dr. Au come in to assist her towards the end because it was just so hard but she worked so hard for over an hour to get my tooth out. He was also amazing. I feel bad I don’t remember the one girl who was assisting her name. She was amazing too! Hope was totally amazing, holding my hand thru most of it. I appreciate her so much for that but I didn’t get a chance to tell her. I literally can’t find enough words to express how amazing they are! I have a wicked gag reflex, Hope put salt on my tongue and it truly does help! At one point Dr Munguba was massaging my face and head while Dr Au tried to get the rest of the root out! I was so scared and I also suffer from medical PTSD so this was so hard for me. They made me feel so at ease I did not even need meds to calm down. They were encouraging me and comforting me the entire time. One day I want to get them all thank you gifts! Most people think horrible of places for low income people. This is the only dentist I will ever go to. If you’re scared or have any kind of issues with a dentist, this is the place for you. Let them know they do not treat you differently or judge you. They will help you. I just adore them for how they treated me during an extremely hard extraction. Btw they did end up getting all they needed to get out. And this was my first ever extraction!

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Sparkman at Heart of Florida Dental. As someone who typically dreads dental visits, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and at ease I felt during my appointment. She was incredibly patient and kind, especially when I had to get my tooth pulled. She made sure I was in control and kept checking in to ensure I was okay throughout the process. I also want to mention Ronesha, the dental assistant, who was just as wonderful. She answered all my questions to the best of her knowledge with warmth and professionalism. If she didn't have the answer herself, she went out of her way and found it for me. The office is beautiful, very clean and modern and gives off a good vibe. I can genuinely say this has been the best dental experience I've ever had, and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a positive visit.

I just left from the heart of Florida health center for dentist appointment I had a great experience for the first time. I truly appreciate Mrs. HOPE !!! The experience I had with her was outstanding. This is a horrible way of operating a dentist office. I am a mom of a 2 year old and a 6 month old. First, it took me over a year to get an appointment here. Next, I finally was able to schedule an appointment and I informed them that o had 2 littles that would be with me and they said no problem. I had it all set up. Once I was called back it would’ve been time to feed the baby and my 2 year old would’ve been watching videos while strapped in the stroller. I wake up early and get everything and everyone ready and head to the dentist. I get in and only for them to tell me that now I can’t take them back. We have no family or friends here to help me out and my husband had to work in order to support us. I explained how they would t be a problem and how I verified with someone before making the appointment. She told me to pay for daycare. $500 a week for daycare for both my girls!!!! That’s rent!!! I would feel differently if they were honest with me from the beginning. And then to shrug their shoulders and say it’s not their problem. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional.

I was in rough shape when I came into the office on Friday 28 Mar. And when I left the office I was in a great mood and less one tooth. For a wisdom tooth extraction this was the easiest one I have ever had. And painless as could be. As a matter of fact it took less than 4 mins from the time Dr. Monguba started till when she was done. And the DA Hope was so nice and kind, and friendly. She really put me at ease and kept me calm. I love this place ..friendly staff...they are very gentle with my son's teeth he is 9 years old and so far he has not complained at all...I highly recommend this place

Although getting them on the phone is like pulling teeth the staff is very nice and caring and attentive to your needs.

Nobody ever answers the phone or calls me back. I've been trying to reach someone for a week. The mailbox is actually full right now so I can't even leave a message. This is so frustrating.

This place is amazing, the girls here are so sweet and caring .They are great with the kids. Fun, upbeat, beautiful environment .

This place is horrible . I called to get my son an appt which he is in pain they told me there is nothing they can do. He's not due for an appointment until Dec.

The dentist was impatient, rude, sarcastic, angry and downright mean. Stay away from this place.
