I have had 2 dogs groomed at All Dogs' Hair Haven in the past (2012). The owner did an excellent job both times - especially on my 20-year-old dog. We recently moved back to Naples, and I took my dog to have it groomed. The first thing I said on the phone was I wanted to be the first client in the morning, so he didn't have to go into a cage. We had just recently (9 weeks ago) adopted him from a horrible hoarder situation. She said that service was an "Express Service" and would take 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 11:00. I left him at the appointed day and time. When I was texted to say he'd be ready in 15 minutes, it was close to 3:00 o'clock. When I arrived 15 minutes later, he was in a cage and looked terrified. He did not look particularly clean, was very poorly cut, and frankly other than his face, which wasn't done well, he didn't look much different than when I dropped him off. His tail which had wisps growing from it had not been cut, but his backside was so shaved that he looked like a baboon, but his butt did not look completely clean. Even wth rest times, which I can understand she might want to take given his anxiety, it took way too long. I asked if she took credit cards, to which she responded yes, but didn't bother to tell me they would charge me $4.99 for this. The bill for this "Express Groom", which lasted close to 3 hours, was $134.99. She had told me initially it was $130.00, so I thought well, it's very expensive, but I trust her and they won't put him in a cage and it won't be long. None of this turned out to be true. I didn't complain when I checked out. Frankly, I was so disappointed in how he looked and so disappointed in the lack of skill in his grooming that I was stunned. That being said, I know the owner is a good person, knowledgeable, caring, and a good citizen of the community. I know she wouldn't physically hurt my dog, but not following my wishes and her promise to not put him in a cage was simply wrong. In this instance, she failed at her job and failed me and my dog Pilsner. The FIRST PICTURE BELOW is the first time he was GROOMED IN COLORADO and I showed her this picture to give her an idea of what I wanted. The SECOND PICTURE BELOW was the day he was groomed at All Dogs' Hair Haven.

I have been a client of Christina’s for 17 years. Not only is she and excellent groomer, but the dogs LOVE coming to her. In the morning it is amazing to see all the pups literally running to get in! And they are gentle groomers who don’t hang dogs up on small tables. Instead the dogs are groomed in study carrel like stations enclosed in three sides. I once overheard Christina having a conversation with the owner of a puppy who was coming for the first time. She explained to him that they probably wouldn’t get done today since they would be doing lots of play and teaching the puppy how to stand. She expected to get the sanitary area, and maybe the face done, but that the puppy would need to come the following week to get finished up - and there would be no charge for that day. She told the owner that as a certified animal behaviorist her goal was to teach the puppy how to enjoy its spa day! Although I now live on the other side of Naples, I wouldn’t let anyone else touch my dogs.

They are the BEST AROUND!!! My dog is a rescue and very skiddish. He can be aggressive when he is scared. I’ve been told NOT TO COME BACK by other groomers. I was very nervous to take him there but these people treated him wonderfully and now he LOVES GOING! He gets excited when we get there and runs right in! I will never take my dog anywhere else ever again!
