2 star because of the experience. Asked about a price, saw it was higher than expected and said I'm used to seeing some figures around a lower price. The employee working apparently didn't like that I wasn't going to buy it since I asked to look at the price and gave me an annoyed sigh with a less than sincere thanks for coming comment all with his back turned to me and walking away. All signs that he couldn't be bothered and found it a waste of his time. Was planning to get something, but with that attitude, no thanks. Just lost a sale on 3 things I was planning on getting that were slightly priced higher in total over one that one item at the price. The company's loss. If the employee has a problem with folks asking a question and not showing interest due to price, they need a better attitude if they want to keep customers. Never had that attitude given to me in the past here nor in other locations. Always friendly and never getting like this when someone doesn't show interest. It's probably a long day for him, but yeah, not the type of attitude you give guests. This occurred 6/18/24 around 5:20pm.
entitled and snobby employees, manager said “that sucks for you” to a relative of mine weary about not being able to use a $15 store credit card with the ongoing sale, overpriced items, one cheap pen is marked for 9 dollars, which is outrageous!.. i’m a regular shopper here and haven’t had as bad as an experience than this at this store. you’d be better off buying from individual sellers.
I found a couple of unique items here, now I'll have to pop in once a while, I'm 2 hour drive away but it's worth it
as a frequent visitor there used to be friendly cashiers at this place, but now there is this man who works the register who is usually rude when i ask questions about items. today my sister and i were shopping and he was on his phone calling someone the whole time we were in the store, even during our checkout. he was saying inappropriate and vulgar words in front of us while he was on the call and barely said anything to us. I suggest this place please hire different people
All over the store says 20% off for black Friday sale. Outside,inside,AT THE REGISTER, and store FULL of people, we all approach the counter for the gentlemen to instruct us that it’s 10% off today and that was yesterday… why is it all over your store then. Very upset as I was very eager to buy a hot toy I’ve been looking for, for a long time and was instructed after picking it up that the whole store isn’t what the sale says at all. Me and 6 other people left after hearing this news. Won’t be shopping here again.
my little brother and i fixed their figurines bc the black and white side was showing. guy came over yelling at us about...looking at the figures??? he then proceeded to fix it (that's what we were literally doing) and follow us around the store while joking with his friend extra loud and flicking each other off- im assuming to look cool bc i was with my gf and sister and they wanted to look cool? i was also with my little cousins so that was so inappropriate. so he kept following us very loudly so i kept staring at him and he kept looking away acting extra animated and then played it off asking us if we're finding everything okay. killed my vibe, went in the look for genshin impact swords, came out feeling completely harassed! shame on the staff.
Cute Store to purchase Anime, Marvel, Cartoon, Gaming, etc items. They are missing prices on some of the items like in the middle area where they sell pens and little things. And, the employees are always talking negative things about other employees or complaining about how the store is at another location. Kind of makes the shopping experience awkward.
Very rude and unprofessional people that work here. We walk in the store, the one employee looks at me then turns away no hello or anything I can help you with. Then my wife ask the guy working there for a price on a item and sure enough he has an attitude. Whoever owns or runs this place needs to talk to there employees on how to treat customers.

It was so busy in the store and Enita handed it like a pro. She was answering questions left and right and some where the same question from different families. She took the time to explain things of certain animes that I did not understand. Not once did she get aggravated and she remained professional the whole time.
This was our first time to pop cult and because of Enita we will definitely return.
She deserves the customer service award of the year. Good job Enita I am definitely impressed with your professional and understanding of all the products pop cult offered. Keep up the good work.
I visit Tampa Florida once a year to see my mother, and I'll be honest, there's not a lot for an anime lover and self-proclaimed otaku to do. Visit the aquarium? Pretty normal. Go to the zoo? Box standard. Swim at the beach? Only if I want to get sand in my shorts. No. I need something my brain can really appreciate. Buying anime merchandise!
Sadly there are very little places that offer the kind of swag I want, namely because the run-of-the-mill anime store thinks that Pop Figures are the bomb. (they are not) I'm looking for posters, full figurines, collectable trading cards, manga, anime, etc etc. And this particular location for Pop Cult has it all.
In 2022 I was able to nab two FGO figurines and the female version of Muzan Kibutsuji. One of the FGO figures was even the last one available, an adorable Abigail Williams figure, and the employee working at the time did some serious work to find her box. Super elated he did, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to sell her to me. I was also blown away by the reasonable prices for each figure, which is why I ended up buying all three I was interested in. Fingers crossed they'll stock up on even more FGO figures and merch next year.
Before I left I talked to the guy about my podcast and it turned out he had heard of Anime Pulse, even listened to us, which was super cool to hear about in person as the host. First time I've run into a listener IRL. Definitely returning next year.
Edit (2023): And return I did! This time I was serviced by Sleon Lidell, and she was amazing! Not only did she assist me in finding more Fate figures, but she also showed me one that she was moot on because she described it as broken. Now it was lightly damaged, but very repairable! And it was a figure I really wanted! Thanks again for another bookmark to my trip to Florida.

Worst experience I’ve had. Rude and unprofessional. I didn’t know part of their job was to ask customers if they have enough money to purchase items especially to a child. A customer may want to purchase something but after that rude comment I don’t think they’ll be comfortable anymore shopping in that store. Please find someone else to manage the front desk who have better customer service and are taught manners. To sum it up: good store, bad service.
My wife bought a figure from here and found out when we left it was a fake, waste of $30
The best store to go to for all Anime, Nintendo, Marvel, and Sanrio lovers! Whenever I visit this mall this store is a MUST GO place! The staff are super nice and will help you with anything you need! The store is always kept clean and organized.
Rude employees. Walked in wanted to try on a hat and consider buying it was told to take it off and not wear it. Guess I’ll just buy off Amazon then
