My normal place was booked so I tried this place… I could tell the woman who massaged me was enthusiastic and trying hard, however I was not happy with my massage. I wanted to like it…. But the majority of the time she was massaging me I was thinking “Does she know what she’s doing?” It’s like she would find the spot that needed attention but then move on to something else that just didn’t feel good. There were some good moments but most of it was just “meh”. At the end of the massage she cracked my neck left and right like a chiropractor would and it has felt off ever since. So basically I felt worse when I walked out, not better. The language barrier between us made it hard/awkward to voice my concerns. She made sure I didn’t leave without tipping though. She called me over as I was trying to leave. I wrote down a 5$ tip as she watched me closely. (Her face literally inches from the receipt) She was not having that and tapped my receipt quickly, pointing to the 15% 20% 25% tip suggestion area of the receipt and urging me to give more. I felt bad but I wasn’t happy so I simply left. I hate leaving bad reviews for what seems like a family owned business but this is the review I wish I read before I booked with them. Will never be back. Go to Essentials of Lakeland they are 15$ more per hour and blow this place out of the water.

A fantastic experience. I never like to brag, but this time it felt completely refreshing. It's a really great place—clean, tidy, and comfortable. The receptionist was very welcoming and always smiling, and the prices were reasonable. The full-body deep massage was truly an experience I've never had before. I loved it and will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

Been twice. Both times were good; however, the second time we went, the lady was not happy about the tip and demanded that we give a minimum of $15 tip. We do not have insurance to cover massage services, so everything is out of pocket. Though the service was good, we can’t afford to give a high gratuity. Besides, gratuity is based on what the client feels is fair for the service. Needless to say, we will not be seeking their services again. We will go elsewhere.

Without a doubt the best massage I've had in a long time. I already know I'll be irritated when I wake up because I won't be feeling this good. I was so afraid that it all might be a dream and I didn't get the name of my mussuse. It looked like a woman but it had to be some sort of pain relieving demi-deity that took pity on this knotted up mortal.

We've been coming here since 2021 and we are never disappointed. Me and my husband always look forward getting our massage here. We highly recommend this place if you want a real massage. We tried different places here in Lakeland for a couples massage and we're only coming here in Elite massage. Anna and Sunny is our favorite but everyone's great. They will ask if the pressure is okay so if you think it's too hard for you then just let them know. They're very accommodating to what type of massage you want.
