I have been with them for a few years. They are all awesome. Just want to help. From what I know 100% donor funded. They from pulling teeth, cavities up to root canal and crown. I had a bridge done there. Plus crowns, cavities bi yearly cleaning. When I’m able I’m going to give back to them even if only a little $.

I would like to say that I was referred to community dental by a really close friend walking in I felt welcomed and at home there when I meant the dentist, Dr. Dan and his assistant, they were very polite, caring and very interested and knowledgeable in my needs. I have never met a dentist or an Assistant that were more welcoming than then too. I give this place a five star and I would definitely recommend more people To this facility. We need more community centers just like community dental

I can’t recommend Community Dental Clinic enough, especially Dr. Dan Salvatore! I came in with a dental issue that had been bothering me for a while, and Dr. Salvatore went above and beyond to fix it. He took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on, walked me through my options, and genuinely tried everything possible to save my tooth before considering other measures. His skill, patience, and dedication truly stood out, and I left feeling so relieved and grateful. If you’re looking for a dentist who really cares about his patients and their outcomes, Dr. Salvatore is the absolute best.

The staff is amazing very caring. I’ve never felt so taken care of by any place and staff I’ve ever been and the staff is really and I mean really amazing people, they make you feel like your family and completely comfortable and completely understanding about your situation and answer every question you may have, so-I would highly recommend this place because they did an amazing job. I got 12 teeth pulled and they were talking to me every step of the way making sure I was comfortable and not in any pain, so I would love to give thanks to all the staff there and they really did change my life because me and my husband got in a motorcycle accident by a hit-and-run driver, and they were right there to help with open arms and give me back a smile that I’ve never thought I would be able to afford since losing my job due to the motorcycle accident it knocked out all of my front teeth and my self esteem went down soon as I noticed that my teeth were gone, and I would cry my self sleep because honestly, I couldn’t even bite into a cheeseburger anymore and never thought I’d be able to get to eat any food like I had before my teeth were knocked out by a motorcycle accident and it was a hit-and-run also as I said before, and they had left us to die pretty much it felt like on the road since we were on a motorcycle, we had gotten thrown in the middle of the road at 45 mph so other cars could have ran us over as well, but this amazing place and staff gave me an amazing outlook to life to come with a beautiful smile and more importantly to be able to enjoy food again now and that I’ll have teeth back, thank you so much. You guys are amazing. I couldn’t thank you enough. When I first walked in I felt welcomed Annie & Michelle were so Nice & just wonderful people and Dr.Dan made me feel comfortable and safe and for the first time I did not feel like I had to hide my smile. The staff was so supportive and understanding and it really brought tears to my eyes how this whole process works and how they are funded by grants so it is actually finally something that I can afford. I am just so incredibly grateful for this place. I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude for their services. Thank you so much! 😊

If you live in Pinellas County and don’t have dental insurance, these people will help you! No fees for service. They are the nicest, most competent dental office, probably in the whole state of Florida. The volunteers at the front desk are amazing and the dental staff is kind and knowledgeable. So grateful for their service and hope this post helps more people find them.

Would leave a ZERO. I would not wish the experience I’ve had with this office on anyone. I came here for help, and instead, I was neglected and left to suffer in debilitating pain for MONTHS. Dr. Salvatore himself is a wonderful doctor, but his staff and other providers caused me more harm than help. I am a healthcare worker myself and knew something was wrong, yet they dismissed my pain as if it didn’t matter. Because of their negligence, my simple cavity turned into a serious infection requiring a root canal, and I spent nights unable to sleep, work, or function. This office failed me on every level except for Dr. Salvatore himself.

If I could give a 0 I would. I normally don’t leave reviews, but after months of ongoing pain and frustration, I feel it’s important to share my experience. Dr. Daniel W. Salvatore is an incredible provider — compassionate, thorough, and one of the few doctors I’ve ever encountered who truly listens and makes his patients feel cared for. I am deeply grateful for his expertise and kindness whenever he was available to treat me. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about his staff and some of the other providers in the office. I am a full-time nursing student with very limited income, doing my best to take care of my health while balancing work and school. While Dr. Salvatore was away on vacation, I was seen by a female provider who falsely documented that she treated a cavity, when in reality the cavity was not treated at all. This led to months of worsening pain, and the situation progressed into what is now a root canal infection. Since February (it is now July), I have repeatedly contacted this office regarding my increasing pain, which has now reached a 9/10, despite my very high pain tolerance and background in healthcare. I have made it abundantly clear that I am in severe, debilitating pain — pain that is affecting my ability to work, sleep, and concentrate on school. Despite my efforts to communicate this urgency, I am still on the waiting list for treatment, and no one from the staff has provided a clear plan or sense of urgency regarding my condition. At this point, I have no choice but to show up in person and request immediate treatment, because I simply cannot continue functioning like this. I have done everything I can to follow the proper process, yet the staff has consistently failed to prioritize my care. Additionally, I was prescribed the same antibiotic (amoxicillin) three separate times, despite it being ineffective. No effort was made to alternate antibiotics or adjust the treatment plan as my symptoms worsened — a basic step to prevent antibiotic resistance and properly address an infection. The only person who listened, cared, and took my health seriously was Dr. Salvatore. Sadly, his staff’s poor communication, lack of empathy, and negligence have completely overshadowed the quality care he provides. They have failed to relay urgent messages, dismissed my pain, and left me suffering unnecessarily. Unless you are able to see Dr. Salvatore directly, I cannot in good conscience recommend this practice. I truly hope this office reflects on how harmful their negligence has been. No patient should ever be left in this level of pain, fighting just to be heard, especially not in a healthcare setting where compassion and responsiveness should be the standard

It’s pretty awesome what they offer to the community! The doctor is fantastic and gentle and cares about educating people as well as treating them. The facility is clean and the staff is welcoming. They are pretty strict about their rescheduling/cancel policy which makes it a little difficult for people with children or who don’t have transportation (a problem low income patients have), So you’ll have to work around them. But this clinic has been so important for our family, we’re thankful to have found them.

May God Bless everyone at Community Dental. Each and everyone who works there are saints. So polite, not one person was rude. Due to unfortunate circumstances in my life and the time right now I needed dental help. Not only did they get me in under 2 weeks , they were all so professional. Thank you Dr. Tran and The incredible Dental Hygienist Katie. They both were so friendly and super cool. I actually enjoyed my visits with them. Katie did an incredible job, super sweet, super knowledgeable and super funny. How anyone could give less then 5 stars is beyond my comprehension. This place was absolutely amazing. I am 32 years old and haven’t seen a dentist since I was 14. I had a traumatizing experience back then and I made the staff aware of this when I came in. They were absolutely supportive and wonderful. They took their time walking me through every thing that was going to be done before proceeding and double checking with me each time to make sure I was comfortable and ready to go. I really was a big baby about this and they not once got frustrated with me or annoyed but only showed complete compassion and care to make sure I was able to complete the tooth extraction. I would highly recommend this office to any and everyone, they are seriously the most professional medical staff I’ve ever experienced in anything. I am so thankful I found them because I will be returning and committing to getting the rest of my mouth fixed up confidentially with little to no fear. Dr. Tran is absolutely the best dentist in the world.
