Everyone works so well as a team. The staff at the reception desk welcomed me with a warm friendly smile. My hygienist Grace was very kind , explained everything in detail and made sure I was comfortable. One of the other hygienist came in to assist, she was amazing as well. I went to the dentist today. I hate going to the dentist. It is a sensory nightmare, but I knew I needed to go, so I showed up. I told them I am autistic, and they immediately asked what they could do to make everything easier. It was beautiful and so kind. They checked in on me often to make sure I was comfortable. They did not flinch at the signs that I have been chewing on the insides of my cheeks. They did not shame me for the fourteen teeth that will need gum grafts because I brush far too hard. They understood that my body craves sensory input, and sometimes that need shows up in ways that others may not expect. I left with a long treatment plan, but also with a softness in my chest. It reminded me that caring for autistic people is not complicated. It is choosing gentleness. It is making space for the way our bodies move through the world. And today, the staff there showed me exactly what that kind of care can look like. ♥️

It had been 15 years since I’d been to a dentist because of pure fear of dentists. EVERYONE in the office was so kind and did everything possible to calm my nerves. Highly recommend!!! I won’t wait again.

Beware! This office does not check insurance coverage before scheduling appointments, so you may be hit with a large bill that was unnecessary. When asked about it, they told me that's not their job - it's yours to cross check with insurance before seeing them.
