Descent into Gaming is an amazing game store with so much to offer. Their selection is always growing and they never have boring options to choose from in anything from Magic the Gathering to Pokemon. They even have a DnD section that includes a case of miniatures, all sorts of different source books, accessories, and lots of dice. They’ve recently started a community with Riftbound! The people in the shop are very pleasant and helpful and the employees are always happy to help. The community the owners have built is really welcoming and pleasant for people who have been playing/ collecting for years, or first timers. Overall it’s an amazing store for collectors, or people just looking to hang out and make new friends.

A clean and organized gaming store. Anyone working there is always open to help seasoned collectors and players find their next new thing and are incredibly helpful with new players, taking the time to teach and explain all the complexities of the games they may be interested in picking up. There’s a wide variety of games and cards to look through and they cater to all sorts of players. Theres a good selection of snacks and drinks that they offer to their customers as well. They even carry DnD modules and accessories alongside their large selection of Magic The Gathering and Pokemon. The staff is friendly as well. Overall a nice environment and is fun even to just hang out and play games. They host plenty of events every day of the week for many different ttrpgs. Every night they host a different game. Currently they host for Magic the gathering, Pokemon, riftbound, one piece, lorcana, and dnd.

This used to be a 5 star game store with a healthy balance of board games you couldn’t find at big box stores, as well as D&D, Warhammer, and other games and of course card games (Magic, Pokémon, etc.) I don’t know what happened. I went in today and the whole store has been gutted and basically only sells cards. The only reason I am rating 2 stars is because the staff was friendly and I could tell they wanted to be helpful, but they just don’t cater to people who play board games any more (and the 5 board games they do have are up on a top shelf so you can’t read what they are). They also have a case displaying 3D printed slop for sale. This store used to fill a need in this community and with the recent changes, it no longer fills that need. We would happily return to this store if they brought back the board games. It was the only local shop where we could buy these games and ask questions about them from staff who were relatively knowledgeable about them. We were willing to pay the premium price for the game because of that experience. Looks like we will have to go all the way up to St.Pete or Clearwater to find the good tabletop games. Very sad.

An excellent local card shop. A hidden gem to many. It was honestly fine before imho, but has recently undergone some major improvements that has me coming back far more often. I have been there many times now and they are always honest and easy to shop with. Everyone is knowledgeable, fair and selling at near / under most market prices. A very nice staff; the biggest bonus being "kid friendly" for my kids who love Pokémon. The most visible change from before is inventory - how well stocked they have been with new treasure every few days I stop by. Chances are very high they will have something you want and its even a better deal than online (with tax and shipping especially). Consider me impressed, as everyone @DiG is working hard to do so. A great place to collect and play TCG!

Showed up on Saturday after the Spiderman prerelease and they had 1 limit purchases on bundles and play booster boxes; but, no limit on collector packs where are the scarcist of all the product. So, yeah, got there about 1 hour after opening and someone had just ourchased every collector pack in the store. If this is how this store handles any kind of prerelases, it just is not worth the time and drive and seeking nearly released collector product elsewhere is probably a better bet until they enact limits on newly released collector boosters. Other than that, they always have a good selection. They also didn't offer or advestise taking orders on new sets which the old owner did.

This is my favorite store to play Pokémon with my son. The difference maker here is I believe they truly care and try to put on a good event every Saturday. People are nice. Shop is decent but there is a probationary 3 day (at least) “incubation” period for those selling cards in which you must leave your items with them. Awesome place! Card games, comics, Tabletop games, minifigures galore, dice and friendly staff. Perfect for local game supplies! With Covid, they ask everyone to wash hands and aren't holding gaming events currently, but that encourages safety. I can't wait to eventually even more when restrictions are lifted!

Nice, if limited, selection of games and toys. The crowd and staff are wonderfully welcoming and friendly. The gaming tables certainly can feel a touch claustrophobic during big tournaments.

Best place for gaming fans. Great staff and owners are awesome. Very knowledgeable about everything they sell. I go there all the time and they do pre release events. Great all around for pokemon and magic the gathering and dragonball Z. Plus others.

Descent Into Gaming is a friendly environment that satisfies the itch for gaming. If you're looking for a place that supports Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons along with some other games this is perfect for that. It also has a good selection of comics to peruse through.

Really cool store with all sorts of magic cards, board games, etc. They've started inventory on all their cards so it's super easy to see what they have available, plus they have tons of tournaments and events.

The store's quality has been lacking as of late. The employees seem overworked and underappreciated. Employee turnover is constant. You can find more affordable prices elsewhere.

I love this place, you can come here to buy comics d&d stuff,magic cards,and any other type of card games, they have tables you can go sit at in the back of the shop and hang out all day with your frends playing games for free it's a really cool place to be
