Don’t waste your time here. We booked a spa day for 3 people (4-services each) 6-weeks in advance. We received text messages on 3 separate occasions confirming our appointments. Twenty minutes before our appointment time at 9 am, sitting out in the parking lot, after an hour long drive, they called. We found out that 2 massage therapists had left and they were unable to fit us in for appointments we had made on 5 November. The lady at the front desk knew the Massage Therapists had left, yet no one called us to let us know. This was our last spa day with our elderly mother-in-law. They couldn’t fit us in, or rearrange our appointments, offered no immediate compensation, only 20% off on our NEXT visit. I had my 98 year-old mother-in-law and my sister-in-law who doesn’t even live in the state with me. A free service would’ve been better or at least inviting us in for some coffee and trying to fit us in for something else would have gone a long way, but they couldn’t even do that. The first thing you have to do is care about your clients and your business. I recommend going somewhere else because Blue Door Spa doesn’t have any issues canceling appointments at the last minute and has no problem wasting your time.

I booked a deep tissue massage and Matt did an excellent job-this was probably the best massage experience I’ve had in a long time. The bed was the right temperature and the room was at perfect lighting. He started with having me take a couple of deep breath with some aromatic essential oils. I opted to add the CBD in my massage oil and I’m thankful since I have arthritis pains and this has lessened the pain the morning after. I was questioned a few times about pressure but I felt that it was perfect for what I needed. Got towels were added on my back and feet and under my neck at different times and that was perfect. It was both relaxing and therapeutic and helpful. I was asked about adding a peppermint scalp massage and while I thought that might be wonderful, I was on a tighter budget this trip. He also suggested utilizing the sauna afterwards where I sat for a few minutes and that was perfect-a first time for me! He was knowledgeable and kind! I’ll repeat the experience and be sure to ask for him.

I’ve had massages multiple times at Blue Door but no one as amazing as Matt. He is exactly the therapist I’ve been looking for since I moved to Florida. I highly recommend him! He uses the right amount of pressure without any discomfort yet you feel like he still working through tight muscles. You will not regret booking his massage services.
