I typically love bringing my dogs to Pet Paradise, however my pickup today was extremely sad and worrisome. I was greeted and then given my dog's medicine (over $450 worth of meds). One, which was power, was given with a missing cap. One, which was an eye drop had dirt all over it and dirt caked in the cap. It was unsanitary and shouldn't have been handled that way. I asked for a manager as I had to discard 2 prescriptions. The manager came out and was quite aggressive. He told me he'd find me a cap, and that the eye drops were probably dropped. I informed him that it was unacceptable, so he credited $60 for the inconvenience (it didn't even cover the meds). His rude, demeaning tone was appalling. I now have to purchase two different meds and Pet Paradise will not accept accountability. The worst part is, he never said "you are right, I am sorry that this happened." Instead, he was defensive and argumentative. So sad considering my prior great experiences.

We bring our dog to Pet Paradise often since I travel quite a bit, and overall, she enjoys her time here. I love seeing her play with the other dogs and swim in the pool, and the managers—especially Nick—have always reassured me that her care is a priority. Nick even resolved a recent service issue with professionalism, promising charges would be removed for services that weren’t delivered in a timely manner. I left that conversation feeling respected and reassured. Unfortunately, my experience this morning with a staff member named Jennifer was the complete opposite. After a long flight, I was happily watching the dogs play in the pool with another dog parent, when Jennifer looked over at me and gestured with her hand for me to “come here” as if I were a dog needing a command. When I explained to her how that came across, she kept insisting she “never said that.” But actions speak louder than words, and her demeanor throughout the interaction was condescending and passive-aggressive. When I inquired about charges that were supposed to be removed, Jennifer gave me attitude, pushed her screen toward me instead of providing a printed invoice, and repeatedly told me the service had been removed when it clearly was still listed. What should have been a joyful reunion with my dog turned into an upsetting experience of being dismissed and disrespected. I want to be clear: the reason I am leaving a one-star review is because of this particular employee. The managers—especially Nick—have consistently been professional and accountable, and our dog truly enjoys her time here. But no customer should ever be treated this way. My hope is that future visits reflect the same level of care and professionalism from all staff members, so that one employee’s behavior does not overshadow an otherwise positive environment for our dog.

I booked a grooming appointment for my dog on Friday for Sunday. On Saturday evening, I received a message asking for vaccination records, which I sent immediately by email. However, when I arrived on Sunday, they informed me that they required an additional vaccine—not one mandated by the state. I was never informed about this beforehand, and it’s extremely disappointing that they waited until the day of the appointment to mention it. This was my only day off, and I had to drive 25 minutes back and forth for nothing. Very poor communication. I won’t be returning.

I had a trip planned for a family member’s birthday, but my hotel wasn’t pet-friendly, so I booked a stay for my dog at PetSmart Hotel. However, when I arrived, the staff handling check-in was extremely rude. They refused to accept my dog’s vaccination records because they weren’t directly from a vet, as my dog is a rescue. When I asked if I could get my pup vaccinated at their vet, they said yes—but then told me I couldn’t check my dog in for another 48 hours after the vaccination. This policy wasn’t listed on their website, which was incredibly frustrating. Thankfully, I called Pet Paradise, and the experience was night and day. The employee I spoke with assured me my records were acceptable, and their on-site vet confirmed my puppy just needed a booster. Although their vet wasn’t available that day, they kindly directed me to a walk-in clinic where I got everything taken care of. The staff at Pet Paradise was friendly, patient, and truly cared about my pup’s well-being. They went above and beyond, and I couldn’t be more grateful. If you ever need a trustworthy place to care for your furry friend, this is the spot! They’ve definitely earned my business- 10 Stars 🌟

We highly recommend Pet Paradise! Daisy has stayed there several times and has been well taken care of! It is a new facility and looks modern and well designed. The puppy pool is a great feature. My 8 month old Std. Poodle, Sterling, had a great day at day camp. She made new furry friends and enjoyed spending time with the humans. Because she is so reactive to dogs and people on our walks, I expected her to be stressed and mouthy at day camp-not so. She was calm and polite to all the dogs. Maybe next time she will swim!

Best place to take yer pups!! Love the options available, vet, groomer, day care etc. Sabrina is the best on the vet side! My D'Kota runs to her even when we're in for a groom. Just remember to ask about points you have earned as they expire 12 months later. I didn't know about the reward system until a few hundred expired.

Not enough staff to keep your dog safe. Not enough supervision for the amount of dogs they have in an area. Do not recommend brining your pet to any daycare that has large amounts of dogs to 1-2 staff members. Mix aggressive breeds within the group. The cameras are open to watch , take a look before you decide to drop your loved one off for the day. Wish I asked more questions before I left my dog for the first time. My dog will never be back.

We used Pet Paradise in Apollo Beach for doggy daycare while we were away on a cruise, and overall, we had a really good experience. One of the things we appreciated most was being able to check in on our pup through the webcams during certain times—it gave us peace of mind while we were gone. The staff all seemed friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring with the dogs. You could tell they enjoy what they do, and our dog seemed comfortable being there. Unfortunately, she did have a health scare during her stay. While we understand that the on-site vet isn’t always available, our only suggestion would be to have basic over-the-counter medications on hand for situations like that, especially when a vet isn’t immediately reachable. That said, we’d still trust them again in the future. The care was solid, and knowing our dog was in good hands made it easier to enjoy our trip.

The employees here go above and beyond for my dog here. They moved her to a quieter wing so she would be more comfortable during her stay. Not to mention the lovely bath they gave her before I picked her up.

They have staff living there 24/7 and left our dogs laying in throw up and not answering for 14 hours. They also would not give us our dogs because they "didn't have enough staff to clean the room up."

The dog’s wellbeing at this place is a concern and I will be filing a noise complaint. I get that a lot of people board over the holidays but listening to dogs cry and bark all night is awful, I live directly across the street.

We were nervous to board our dog but the staff was amazing! We loved that we got to check in on the cameras and see our dog play with other dogs. The price was amazing, facility was clean and everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable! We will definitely use in the future
