First off I am 78 yrs old and a Retired Charter Boat Captain. I now have a small walkaround to catch fish for my table. I fished the Great Lakes (Lake Ontario) and the Atlantic Ocean (Oregon Inlet) for 48 yrs. I held a 100 ton Masters License. I have been in Boat Yards since I was 8 yrs old. I gave this boat yard 5 Stars. I would have given it more if more they were available...My 25 Grady White was LOADED with Barnacles. To the point that it would hardly get on plane. They hauled the boat, scraped the barnacles, pressure washed and sandblasted where necessary and applied 2 coats on the bottom and 3 on the side water line. The person who did the work, Alex, was extremely efficient and after watching him for 20 mins, I knew my boat was in good hands and left him alone for 3 days while he did his work. They washed the boat when the work was done. Given what happens in a boat yard, I have never seen a yard so clean...they had all the latest MODERN equipment and men who knew how to use it. I can absolutely recommend this boat yard for ANY work you need done on your boat. BTW they also had large Yachts in for service while I was there and 1 or 2 buyers surveys as well.

We have been coming here for service for the last 12 years and have always had good service. Just had our Motoryacht in there for a week for a bottom job and hull buff and wax. Dave and his crew took excellent care of us and our boat as always. Thanks Ray

These guys are great! Dave and Dave and their Staff worked like a pit crew to swap out our propellers on short notice which was no easy task on a 60 foot twin engine boat. They also took care of an electrical problem at the same time. I recommend them highly!

These guys are the greatest! They are easy to work with and very helpful. We did a three week haul out to service all our thru hulls, do the bottom paint, and roll on new hull paint. We didn't have any surprise charges or fees and they don't get you for every little thing. Their crew are all nice people and they keep the yard pretty clean. They took the appropriate care getting our boat out of the water and putting her back. The docks are all well bumpered so you're not grinding paint off while you're waiting. I would not go anywhere else if I have a choice and I highly recommend them.

PJ and the guys did a magnificent job on my 3100 Angler center console. All new bottom paint as well as a complete inside-outside boat detail. The boat was finished as promised and looks absolutely brand new. I'm scheduled for them to do another one of my boats next month. I just purchased a new boat about a week before I brought it to Pitmans. We had a pretty large punch list of items we wanted addressed. They had 4.5 days and got almost all of it completed. There were some things I thought would need to be replaced they were able to address and repair which saved me a lot more money. I expected to have the bottom paint done. They advised me the bottom paint was still in good shape and could wait another year. Another big savings. I will go back for my service next year or if i need anything else requiring a haul out. They also recommended a few mobile mechanics that would travel to my location for some if the work they were unable to get to. I found everyone there to be friendly and courteous. JD Donovan

Great crew and management! I bought a 36 ft Prokat from Miami and had it delivered to Pittman’s. The driver showed up 15 minutes before they closed and they never complained about it being delivered late. They jumped right on it and unloaded it, did the full service on both motors the next day and had it in the water for me to pick it up. When I arrived, Dave and Davey helped me get familiar with the boat before I took off. Great guys, I very much appreciated the professionalism! Thanks guys!!! I’ll be back

They got our boat in the sling and up on stands in about fifteen minutes from start to finish. They even recommended the best gyro places near the spongedocks and them the manager drove us over there so we could have gyros and catch an uber. These guys know what they're doing AND they are honest. I've found one of those qualities at many boat yards but almost never both. If you want something done to your boat, the right way, give Pitman a call.

Pitman yacht service is a very honest and reputable place for all of your boat fixing needs. We got a bottom job a lot of work done on the engine. the deck was extremely clean no visual signs of repair work that was done. Came back cleaner than it went in. The mechanic was very knowledgeable and all of the office people were very personable definitely bring our boat here again.

What a great bunch of guys, fast, courteous, great job all around. Did a super job on both my 36' Searay, and my little 13' Boston Whaler I trailered up. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat, and I have had my boat 17 years, and this was the best hauling and bottom paint experience ever. Everyone at my marina in Clearwater uses Pitman for the same reasons. The detail and fiberglass work they had done was terrific too!

Pittmans is an honest and capable yard..I have used their services since the yard opened and find them to be extremely helpful and fair. They have done bottom jobs and repairs on at least 4 of my boats over the years. Great folks! They work hard.

I have had my Hylas 44/45/5 in this yard on three occasions in the last year or so for all the miserable jobs I don't want to do myself including changing hoses, thru hulls, fiberglass repair and mechanical work. Turn arounds are quick and efficient and the quality of work is high.
