Just got my boat back, went in for a new engine and left with a new boat. Drew and his team went above and beyond to get my boat where I wanted it to be. Communication was great throughout the entire process and the shop warranty that came with our engine is hard to find anywhere else. Will definitely be trailering my boat the 4 hours again in the future if I need more work done!

drew ellis sold me a boat that was complete junk and had to be completely overhauled even though he advertised it as solid boat everything worked. took it out first time nothing worked. took it to certified mechanic, yamaha master tech,had warped head, water in lower unit, 2 bad fuel pumps, unprotected electrical circuits (fire hazard) bad battery switch. oh he also stated fuel tank was replaced it wasnβt. he also used household extension cords for wiring on hull and trailer. tilt and trim had to be rebuilt also.I understand that it was used boat but everything he stated to me about it was untrue. This is just a sample of the issues this boat,motor,trailer has as i am still dealing with it. please consider yourself warned.

Boaters Surplus is undoubtedly the Best place to take your boat for Service or Upgrades!!! From start to finish Drew has been amazing! He is honest, trustworthy, and extremely reasonable on pricing. As long as you are patient and have realistic expectations he will take good care of your boat and treat every project as if it was his personal boat! This review doesnβt come lightly. Absolutely Fantastic! My only concern is that once word gets out they will get so much business that I wonβt be able to get my boat back in the shop without a long wait list.
