Dr. Sheahan and her staff were amazing. We brought our 11-month-old in for an evaluation, and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. The receptionist was kind and welcoming with my baby and even offered him a clean toy while we waited. Dr. Sheahan was thorough and informative, and her assistant was also very kind and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would happily recommend them whenever I get the chance.

I am not someone who normally leaves reviews. However, words cannot express how impressed I am with this office, from the front desk to the doctor. My daughter had cheek, lip, and a tongue tie. The doctor released them the same day as our evaluation. She gave a lot of education throughout the whole process. But, what sets them apart is she followed up with us frequently about how my my daughter was doing and was easily reached with any concerns and questions I had. I have never experienced this sort of care before, and I'm not likely to again. Dr. Sheahan truly cares about the patients she sees, and kindness truly radiates from her. I'm so thankful for the wonderful care you have taken of my daughter. I would recommend her to anyone who needs assistance with their child.

We had a great experience with Dr. Sheahan. She took the time to thoroughly explain everything that was restricting our child’s oral movement — including under the tongue, the upper lip, and the sides. She was patient, informative, and made sure we understood the post-surgery exercises by having us practice them beforehand. She was also able to perform the procedure the same day, which was efficient and very much appreciated. After the surgery, she carefully reviewed everything she had done and went over the exercises again. She even followed up with a text so we could reach out with any questions. The entire staff was also very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Truly excellent care from start to finish.

This was my first visit. I was so impressed with Dr Wasson. He was professional and easy to talk to. He explained everything in detail which made it easier for me regarding payment and the procedure he performed on me. Our experience at Cortez Dental was nothing short of phenomenal. Our son has struggled with feeding ever since his NICU stay, and we’ve been searching for answers and relief for months. After being told he had a tongue tie, we were hopeful that a frenectomy might help—but naturally nervous about the process. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff made us feel incredibly comfortable. They were warm, gentle, and so informative every step of the way. The doctor was thorough, kind, and deeply compassionate—not just during the procedure, but before and after as well. She even followed up personally by text to check on our sons healing and progress, which meant the world to us. It’s rare to find a provider who combines this level of professionalism with such empathy and genuine care. We left feeling relieved, supported, and most of all, hopeful for the first time in a long time. I can’t recommend Cortez Dental enough. Thank you for making such a difference in our journey. 💛

Dr. Sheahan and all staff were absolutely incredible with my son (2 1/2 yrs old) for his tongue and lip tie release. Highly recommend this office!! Amazing staff! Jen, Dr Lucy, Nancy and all of the ladies I interacted with were kind and helpful. Like many, I don’t necessarily enjoy dental visits. Jen created a great experience from the start with my X-rays and Dr Lucy was very gentle with my exam and review. I went back today for cleaning with Nancy and let me just say, she is amazing.
