Our Armored Dade Shutters experience for our Hurricane Accordion Shutters and two electronic roll down screens was very well organized. Even though this can be a long process with getting HOA approval, the ordering, the wait for the product, the installs, the inspections, the equipment adjustments, it was all worth it. Even from the beginning, Row Rowe, was very informative and answered all of our questions on the shutters and screens. Anita, is amazing! When we sent her an email with a question, she responded very quickly, even on a weekend. If something wasn't working correctly, she made sure someone came back to make it right. We highly recommend Armored Dade for your shutter/screen project.

Every step in the process of hurricane shutter installation was handled professionally and with a smile. I had read a number of positive reviews on-line but Armored Dade exceeded my expectations.
Each step in the process was explained clearly and concisely
via e-mails and phone calls from customer service representatives Anita and Joy. Casey installed our shutters outlining the process before beginning and checking when complete. He made sure were were comfortable operating the shutters from inside the house by providing a demo on how to open, lock and close the shutters from inside the house. Excellent customer service.
No more worries about climbing ladders to install hurricane shutters on the second floor. Overall, a great experience and so pleased I have asked Armored Dade for quotes on installing additional shutters on the first floor.

I vetted more than 5 companies for hurricane rated windows and shutters.
I chose Armored Dade because they were local, highly recommended , knowledgeable and fairly priced. Plus Anita was extremely familiar with the My Safe FL home program and was very helpful in navigating the process. That was in back in mid summer 2024. Then hurricanes Helene and Milton hit the island hard. Our needs changed, as did our timeline.
Once we were at a point to start rebuilding (early summer 2025) and put in the windows, Rob and Josh worked with us to get what we needed and still stay within budget, with more than a few revisions.
It took a while for materials (with everyone rebuilding) but once they were available and inspected, the installation went very smoothly and the windows look and work great!
Anita continued to help me finalize what I needed to fulfill the grant request. They also recommended a great company to do our much needed stucco work!
Armored Dade is a Top notch local company, that really care about their customers, have a great product and even better customer service!

Armored Dade installed some hurricane shutters at our Sarasota home, and they did a great job and were very professional throughout. They warned us it might take a while to obtain the product, but they actually completed the job way ahead of schedule. After a great deal of time looking for someone to repair my Hurricane windows Armored Dade was the only one that stepped up to fix the problem in the Bradenton area. I can't say enough good things about Will their technician. Even though they did not sell me the windows, Will was familiar with the type of window and the steps required to properly fix the springs. We contacted Armored-Dade Windows a few months ago after reviewing a grant opportunity offered through the State of Florida to install structural upgrades as an enhancement to our home, for hurricane protection. Our research suggested Armored-Dade was a company to be considered. We looked no further. We contracted an install for protective shutters on our home. Their sales support, office coordinators, install crew, warranty department , and owner lived up to our expectations without reservations. They were competent and the process was seamless. We felt no need to shop them. Our installation was completed in June,’24. Overall, the install was well done; not without minor needed adjustments, but they were addressed and correct expediently and painlessly. Needed adjustments is not uncommon:Handling them properly is the key and they were excellent. We endorse this company without reservation.

We decided to go with the Trifecta: A hurricane window for the front of our home for aesthetic reasons, shutters for the side and electric roll down Kevlar for our back lanai.
