Visited November of 2021. Was passing thru Sarasota en-route to Ana Maria Island and decided to take a quick detour to take a photo @ Unconditional Surrender statue. All while decided to take a few photos of the local marina which to my surprise has a lot of traffic. Very clean overall. It even offers an in-house sales office for those in the market for a boat of any preference. Highly recommend to visit park. Just make sure to bring yourself and an empty drive to take plenty of photos : )

The boat was brand new and beautiful. Very easy to operate with great equipment. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They made everything easy and enjoyable. We had a great day for our first experience.

Freedom Boat Club staff are all super sharpe and make the overall experience enjoyable. They cover all things and make sure you have a nice outing, always asking how things went out there. Very helpful also with assisting our wives getting on and off the boats.

We moved down to Sarasota from Chicago over 4 years ago and wanted to bring our boat down, but were going back and forth between doing that and joining a boat club. We ended up bringing the boat down, but it was expensive to find a slip, etc. so we sold the boat and joined Freedom Boat Club! We have been out three times now and it has been wonderful. Training is included and even though we have boating experience, it wasn't on the ocean so we were happy to know we'd get some training. We had Captain Frank take us out and it went great. He showed us the ropes and let us know we can take any available captains out to learn the area and good fishing spots. For my first reservation I messed up and called to fix it and spoke with Captain Lisa who is also from Chicago. She fixed the reservation and then happily sent some info on an app we can use for navigation and sent me some screens shots of some good routes. She also told me where to find manatees that are in the canals because it's colder for the winter months. The guys at the office there are super helpful and are happy to help in anyway, very attentive. The last time we went out Julian helped us and he was great. It's so nice not to have to worry about maintenance, insurance and all the other not so fun things about owning a boat. We just show up, go out, come back and walk away. They take care of the rest! We can also bring our dogs onboard, which was important to us. Out of all the boat clubs in the area, Freedom gives you the most time out on the boat. It's always nice to see the sunset on the water and most clubs make you have the boat back before sunset. Freedom doesn't and we love that. One of the best decisions we've made since we came down and we're looking forward to continuing to enjoy our time on the water!

The freedom boat club is very good option. You don’t have to pay for maintenance parking docking or cleaning. Everything works great.

Great spot to motor around Sarasota Bay Knowledgable staff. Super helpful. Parking is near impossible on the weekends so go up to Marina Jack’s and use valet parking.

I’ve been a member of Freedom Boat Club for two years now, and I’m very satisfied with my experience. The entire team has been friendly, professional, and always ready to help. This week, we had an Intermediate Boat Operation session with Captain Ron, and it was an outstanding experience. He’s a very kind, patient, and knowledgeable instructor who answered all my questions and helped me feel more confident on the water. I’m really glad I had the opportunity to learn from him. Thanks again, Captain Ron & Freedom Boat Club!

Pretty bad experience. We typically fish for 12 hours offshore. With no hose or cleaning supplies the staff was unhappy with the boat being dirty, then wouldn’t let me clean it better at the dock. They are not fishing friendly and it’s obvious the would much prefer pleasure cruising.

Good selection of boats. Mediocre service. Parking is a real challenge and quite far away and requires that you carry a permit to and from your car at the start and the end of your trip. Also it's a very long walk to the nearest bathroom.

I have been a member now over a month and use it several times a week. I feel welcome everytime I show up. Everyone is so attentive. Concierge service when I arrive and leave. You would think the employees worked for the Ritz Carlton. Value is unmatched. You won't be disappointed.
