I feel SO much better since I’ve been going to Venice Village Chiropractic! Dr Bolen created a specific plan of treatment for me that we review regularly, and now I can move better and sleep better, and I have less pain in my lower back, shoulders and neck. The doctors and staff are knowledgeable and kind. The location is convenient to Jacaranda/41 and the vibe is very soothing. I highly recommend this practice (and I am pretty fussy about who works on my spine).

Dr. Bolen is a true professional and his staff could not be any nicer. Most spine surgeons will tell you that decompression does not work. I say be your own advocate and try it before you elect spine surgery. This suggestion is coming from a Medical Rep who earns his living from people getting spine surgery.

I’ve suffered from lower back pain for years, I was getting routine chiropractic adjustments from other places that weren’t working. Things started to worse. Through a friend I found the Venice Village Chiropractic Clinic. After an initial consultation, we decided spinal decompression would be required. Several weeks later I feel so much better, more movement, flexibility, and I think I’m taller! So many things I stopped doing, so I wouldn’t aggravate my back, now I’m able to do those things, it’s been years. I cannot say enough good things about the overall process, procedure, staff, and the doctors! If you’re in pain and feeling restricted, what are you waiting for!!

I think my condition and symptoms may not be the straight up reason most folks go to a chiropractor for. Long standing arthritis and curvature in lower back and blown cervical disk with associated pain/limitations are what I went to Venice Village Chiropractic for. They were able to improve all symptoms with improvements in range of motion and x-rays. Highly recommend.

I am a senior with ongoing chronic pain from subluxations, a little scoliosis, arthritis, etc. This was the longest episode I have ever suffered pain with it. Dr Bolen , Dr Moyer, and their staff treated me like family during my visits. I was also having a hard time with Medicare Insurance mistakes and they helped me through it. They were patient, kind, professional, and always respectful, even when I was upset about it. Hard to find in Healthcare for seniors these days. Im very grateful they took me in and got me out of scary low back, hip, and leg pain. They know what they are doing. And, the cost was very reasonable.

Total scam. You go in on your first day and they take x-rays and scans and have you come back the following day only to give you a treatment plan that's going to consist of 20 visits for approximately $4,000 prepaid or $5,000 to put on a credit card. All I wanted was traction and they teased me with it for a few minutes and then wanted me to sign a contract. I don't think 30 years of damage can be fixed in 2 months. Truly disappointed.

We have been coming to Dr Bolen about 9 years. He is an excellent chiropracter whether an injury or maintenance visit he is professional and listens to the patient. We are on a plan that is reasonable and affordable.

Dr Bolen and Dr Leigh are very nice and professional doctors along with the staff. I first went there with lower back problems and I know longer have any issues. The entire staff at Venice Village Chiropractic is excellent. Very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. Went in with herniated disc in my neck and within a couple of weeks on the spinal decompression table, I saw significant improvement, and now, I'm nearly out of pain all together. Highly recommend.

When I first came to Drs. Bolen, Moyer I could barely walk and was in so much pain. I went to emergency and was told I needed surgery. That was February 2nd, 2024. Not reviewing the quality of care at this office but my review is about their non transparent pricing system. I called the front desk to find out the pricing for a new patient prior to an appointment I had scheduled. I have no insurance and a limited budget, so this was important to clarify as I didn't want to start up with a place I could not afford. I was told that if they needed to do xrays, it would not be more that $175 for everything. I asked how much the adjustments were and after that and was not given a clear answer.
I went in for the appointment, and was given a paper to sign saying I would be responsible for up to $175 for the appointment. Once in the room, I told by the doctor that it would be $125 for the exam and xrays and an additional $65 for the adjustment. Total of $190. I explained that was more than I was quoted over the phone and that other offices in the area charge significantly less. He left to ask the boss if he could adjust the price. When he came back he said they would match a price I received from another office for the initial exam/xrays but the continued adjustments would be extra. Well how much, I asked again. "Well let's just have you get started today and then when you come in tomorrow for the adjustment I can let you know what it will cost then." Um, what? Why no transparency on the pricing there? It seems very shady to get you in to a appointment, change the price quoted and then not tell you what the charges will be going forward until your next appointment. When I pressed him for a number he finally said $60 for the adjustments. I had told him initially that the other place had quoted me $25/visit as the other office offers a student discount so he knew full well that was not in my budget but still wanted to set me up as a new patient there? Why????
I told the doctor I couldn't afford those prices and that I would have to go elsewhere, he honestly seemed super annoyed with me and they did not charge me for the consultation, but I am posting this because EVERY othe office I called was able to quote specific prices over the phone.

Dr. Bolen and his team are very professional and caring. I was in agony with lower back pain and within 1 month, the pain is reduced to a dull ache. When I moved full time to Florida 4 years ago, I researched top Chiropractic offices and Venice Village was ranked very high and won Reader's Choice, I truly understand why. My main doctor is Dr. Bolen and Dr. Gary Bolen and his staff are outstanding, very professional and caring. They go beyond adjustments, they provide very helpful tips on living a healthier life style and this year as I was renewing term insurance I went from a preferred rating to a super preferred rating.
