Purchased a server for over $1,500 that Xbyte claimed was “tested and working.” It has never worked - won’t detect drives due to a defective RAID controller.
Instead of honoring their guarantee, they offered to sell me a replacement controller for $300 and told me to file a warranty claim. Problem: they never gave me the warranty plan number and refuse to provide it.
Bottom line: paid $1,500+ for broken equipment they said was tested, and they won’t take responsibility. Expect to pay hundreds more to fix their mistakes or fight for any resolution.

We have ordered a number of different parts (Dell R940, rails for Dell R840 servers) in the past few months in spring 2025. Service is great. Parts were in good working order and packed well. Competitive pricing. I recommend xByte Technologies.

Hands down, xByte, has the best prices, customer service and warranty for your server needs. We have a recertified PowerEdge as an ESXi Host running a good portion of our production environment and I when we need to upgrade or grow, I won't hesitate to use xByte in the future. They are also an authorized Enterprise Dell partner and can get you whatever you need with better service, in my opinion, than dealing with Dell directly.
