Kurtz Plumbing replaced the kitchen sink and faucet in my home. Garrett had to make some modifications to make the sink fit and did an excellent job while being careful and working fast. I'm very happy with the results and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kurtz or hire them for my next plumbing job.
John and his son Garrett did a complete re-piping job on my house and installed a 3 stage whole home filtration system. They are a great family owned company and the only plumber I will use. They showed up on time and did an awesome job. They are very will organized, know what they are doing, friendly, let you know what they are doing while doing the job, and ask if you have any questions or concerns. Kurtz Plumbing are the re-pipe specialist as far as I am concerned and several of my neighbors who had their homes re-piped by John and Garrett. I had eight estimates from several plumbing companies and Kurtz Plumbing was my best and most reasonable estimate. If there was a 10 star rating, I would keep them a 10.
I had the pleasure of talking with Sherry and working with John at Kurtz plumbing. Both people were nice to interact with. Sherry readily understood the immediacy of my issue and got me on the schedule ASAP. John showed up and helped me resolve my plumbing issue. Whereas others were quoting me thousands of $ without totally understanding my issue. John came in to see what what actually going on. Surprisingly, the issue was an easy fix.....this was after 5 weeks without water in my home. John assessed and solved my problem for just over $300. Saved me over $13,000 and I could have my water on during the holidays. If you need a caring company (yes they do exist), I would go with Kurtz Plumbing.
5/13/24: Kurtz saved the day again! We had a leak appear out of nowhere in the bathroom that our House Guests were using and Kurtz Plumbing was on it immediately first thing on a Monday morning. They replied to my call immediately, and Garrett was at the front door within 2 hours of our SOS call! I wanted to make our houseguest's vacation really special, and then unexpectedly not having a working toilet for them definitely was not the relaxing experience I was going for! Kurtz Plumbing saved the day! Thank you Shari who is always fast to reply to our phone calls, for working around a pre-scheduled meeting I had which interfered with me communicating back to her quickly; and to Garrett for fitting us in to your Monday schedule. I would give 10 Stars if I could!
4/1/24: We have worked with Kurtz plumbing several times for indoor and outdoor projects since 2021 and they will always be our first call for plumbing needs. The staff are great - starting with Shari who handles the phones and scheduling; she always responds promptly and schedules realistically, usually quicker than I expected. The staff who come to our home are clean and polite, have the tools and equipment they need on the truck so the work is done efficiently and always to perfection. As anyone reading this in SW FL knows, it's not always easy to find a reliable, trustworthy, competent vendor who shows up when they say they will and is ready to get the job done without delay and with a positive attitude. Kurtz plumbing is all that and more - they are the only plumber I will call. Highly recommend. Would give 10 stars.
Kurtz Plumbing did a fantastic job repiping our home. They were able to start work just a few days after our quote, they showed up exactly when they said they would and worked solidly throughout the day to leave us with functioning water overnight. Their work was clean and neat and they were able to repipe with a minimal amount of impact on the house. I strongly recommend them to anyone facing a repiping job in this area!
Extremely happy with their plumbing services. Garrett replaced our water heater on an emergency basis and then he came back with his dad, John, to do a full home re-pipe. John Harmon, owner, returned my mother’s call promptly and kindly came to her condo in Sarasota to check out her water heater problem that same day. John was able to fix the immediate issue but my mother was concerned about the age of the water heater. There was no pressure from John to actually replace the old water heater right away but it was at the end of what is considered the usual life span for water heaters and so, for peace of mind, my mother asked him to install a new one. John and his son came out and did a great job. We are very pleased and would highly recommend Kurtz Plumbing to anyone.

They have replumbed our entire house, changed the water heater, fixed commodes, replaced kitchen faucets, etc. They always call back in a timely manner and service is quickly scheduled. Kurtz Plumbing has done 4 jobs for us since we've been in Sarasota. Every time, excellent service with very fair pricing. Last job was a complete repipe of our home, common in our area. John did a fast but exceptional job and left the place even cleaner than when he arrived by cleaning out drains for us, which he didn't have to do. I would always recommend Kurtz!
What a fabulous company. I had my regular plumber out twice due to a back up. There conclusion was that the pipe had build up and I would need to replace it.... Thankfully my neighbor advised me to call Kurtz, I left a message and was called back within a 1/2 hour. I explained the situation, scheduled an appointment. John came out and within 20 minutes had discovered the issue. They were clean courteous and reasonably priced.

John Harmon and his son tackled what I would term a pretty complex plumbing issue with great expertise and professionalism. Before they came,I was unable to use my washing machine. The problem was correctly diagnosed as roots penetrating cast iron pipes causing the washer to back up and flood. A new pvc drain line was installed quickly and with a minimum of disruption to my household. I appreciated the fact that they did such a thorough clean-up job after the work was done. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again.
This is a superlative family owned business. Not only were they very prompt in their response to my inquiry, but they also scheduled a convenient and timely appointment. I was given a time that the technician would be at my house (the very next day) and I also received a phone call saying the the technician was on his way and would be at my house in approximately 20 minutes. He came when he was supposed to. Fixed my issue in a timely fashion with no mess, and with a reasonable cost. I would highly recommend this business….In fact, so much so that I just called them again with a totally unrelated issue and the problem was solved over the phone! These folks are great!!!

You cannot beat this plumbing company "with a stick". They are exceptional, and responded to a broken water pipe immediately actually re-piping my house two days later! They are reasonable, do excellent work, and treat customers with unusual courtesy. If there were a 6th star, they would merit it.

I had a water knock in my wall that 3 other plumbers could not resolve. ANY faucet closing would cause the knock. It was driving me crazy. John fixed it by replacing a shower faucet cartridge. Shocked me. I think he knows his stuff and have used him and his son numerous times. Personally I like family run businesses.
