Gary was able to schedule a same-day appointment and came to my home, which I know isn’t always typical. He had an opening and took the initiative to get the issue resolved immediately rather than pushing it to another day. He identified the problems quickly and handled everything with professionalism and efficiency. He clearly answered my questions, guided me on what hardware I was missing, and provided effective PC cleanup software for both an older system with excessive clutter and a newer PC with unnecessary pre-installed applications. Gary also successfully troubleshot a dual-PC, dual-monitor setup using a KVM switch that had been incorrectly configured. He resolved it quickly and methodically. I would be more than happy to call Gary my IT professional for as long as he’s in the field.

I selected GEEK2RESCUE because I had a concerning malware problem on my laptop and the G2R ratings were all 5.0. Well, guess what, those ratings are all right on. Gary did a super job cleaning up my computer and adding some handy features. He was prompt and his price was very reasonable. Great service! Gary came to my house and picked up my pc to work on due to my disability. I upgraded my custom pc build, and Gary installed all the new goodies. Geek2Rescue was incredible. I called Friday after 5 PM to bring in before closing expecting to have to wait at least a few days if not a week minimum. He was very accommodating and provided an update before the evening was over. My laptop was repaired the same day, and ready for pickup the next day! Gary was awesome and professional. My laptop had a hardware problem with the cursor. He could have charged me $200-250 to fix it. Instead, he told me to buy a mouse. Most places would have wanted to make money, Gary wanted to help me and get my laptop working without costing me a lot of money. He is a good and honest man... Gary was absolutely GREAT at explaining everything that he was going to do when updating my laptop. The issue is that my core processor was EXTREMELY SLOW in order for me to use for my remote position at home. He restored the laptop to a factory reset, and installed some necessary programming in order for the laptop to operate at a quicker pace. Gary was also able to provide me with more knowledge of possibly purchasing a newer laptop and suggesting a faster processor, which was something I knew was needed in order for me to succeed at work. I want to start with saying Gary was very professional. Very knowledgeable and up to date with current technology. He is straightforward and doesn’t want to rip you off. Not all Heroes wear capes! My laptop wouldn’t start this morning, and I attend online classes so I needed to get it fixed ASAP. I contacted Gary due to his great reviews, and honestly, this guy deserves 6 stars on Google. Gary found the problem (dead hard drive), found me a new hard drive with TWICE the space I had, installed it, updated AND upgraded my laptop with some really cool new features, and taught me how to use them, he even cleaned it! All in about 3 hours… I felt like I bought a new and better laptop. Fixed my wifi connection issue in 2hrs. Added antivirus, vpn, system cleaner, and system checker all for 160$. We have an ASUS Zenbook that would not power up. We brought it over to Gary and he had it fixed and ready for pick up within an hour. Not only did he fix the problem but he scanned it, updated it, installed new drivers, cleaned up some extra junk that was slowing down performance and, upon pick up, he gave us some great tips to keep our laptop performing at its highest level.
