I took my big dog in to have her nails clipped for the first time. She's pretty timid about this sort of thing but the groomers at Petco were fantastic with her and she was done in no time. They intentionally skipped the filing in the spirit of keeping her first visit short and sweet and easy. I am very appreciative. I'll be back without hesitation!

Haley B is so awesome. My Lucy has Addisons disease and Haley was so gentle and calming with her for her first grooming since her diagnosis. I would recommend her to anyone.

I took Toby there for their shed treatment, and Sarah did a great trim and groom as well. He looks beautiful. Very happy with Petco and will use them from now on.

I was very apprehensive because PetSmart refuses to groom my pup. He’s not aggressive, but is very anxious and will lay down making it difficult to groom. Both groomers at Petco were super comforting, and very nice. They did “little things” like lower the table and hold him when blow drying…and it made the experience so much better!!! I felt 100% comfortable leaving him with them, and I will be back!!!!

I’ve taken my dog here for grooming for over 10 years now. He’s always had great care there. Shelley has been his groomer for several years now and it’s obvious to me she cares about the dogs in her care. She does a marvelous job! And he likes going!

Petco in Bradenton is the best grooming service I have found, and I have tried many. It seems (compared to other places) like the training their groomers receive is very effective, because the skill of the cut and the consistency, even across different groomers, is far superior to any place I have been. My dog loves going, and I can tell he is spoiled and held - very well cared for! He is calm and happy when I come pick him up and drop him off, and this isn't always true for him. The staff are friendly, warm, professional, and the grooming area is very clean. I tell all my friends with dogs to try here!!

Alex was a kind and knowledgeable groomer, took time with my in experienced Bichon pup. He is a rescue and had not had the grooming experience he should have for his age. She gave me several tips on brushing and grooming to keep him in better shape. Definitely recommend her!

We are so happy with Suzanne! This was our first visit to a Petco for grooming, and I admit I was nervous. We have never used a big store groomer, but being from out of town, didn’t have many options. Our dog, Moon, is a medium sized doodle, and many groomers don’t want to take them on. From the beginning, Suzanne got right down on the floor to put Moon at ease. I arrived a little early for pickup, and I had the chance to watch Suzanne putting the finishing touches on Moon’s hairdo. Every motion she made was so gentle, and she paid very close attention to every detail. Honestly, I can’t remember the last time my dog looked this good! 🤩 I only wish I had taken a picture BEFORE Moon road all the way home with her head out the window 😂

My dogs claws were barely trimmed still half white part left as if they didn’t even try or file them down with the drimmel. He definitely did not get the no shed shampoo groom I also paid extra for as I have gotten that before and it really works he is still shedding all over after multiple brushes and it was just done Wednesday. I basically feel like I paid for claw trim, file and no shed shampoo but he didn’t get any of it. Ripped off and now I need to find another groomer because there is no way I have time to take my dog back in order to get the services I paid over $100.00 for. I barely have the time to take him when I finally do every other month. Cancel my next appointment asap please. The worst job I’ve ever received from Petco. Won’t happen to me again that’s for sure!! Thanks. It no thanks, to pay for services you don’t receive is basically theft. And to think I even tipped and bought snacks and other products is just ashame…Period!

Easy to schedule and there always availability within days. They work very fast so I do not have to leave my dogs all day at the groomer. They are very attentive.

This was my first time getting my dog groomed at a petco, so maybe this is how they all are. But, I dropped my dog off to be groomed and to get his teeth brushed. They never called me when he was done, I just showed up about an hour and a half later because I hadn’t heard anything. They also didn’t brush his teeth. His haircut was okay, but not even. I normally don’t leave reviews but for a $70 haircut I expected a lot more.

My 11 month old puppy was handled with expertise and care the groomers are very experienced. A grooming session is quite expensive though.

This woman understands animals and worked with my dog. My dog was abused, with electric shock collars and shows the scars. Susanne handled my newly spayed Rotweiller like a pro with great results. My Rottie, Quindy is very loyal to me and Susanne understood that right away. I'm extremely happy with our service and will continue to return every three weeks .

I have taken Koda there two times now, and paid extra for a D shedding, but she comes home, shedding more than what she did in the first place. And you can never get anyone on the phone for a resolution.
