Great aesthetic, but actually the best part about it is the staff! Everyone was extremely professional, very polite and respectful, communicated the rules clearly, and cleaned/managed the venue excellently. You can tell a lot about a business by their bathroom, and theirs is fantastic. I hope to DJ for more events here in the future. :) -DJ Not A Panda

Beautiful establishment. We attended a DAR event as guests/the color guard for the meeting. There’s so much history and effort put into preserving this historic site. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms are well maintained and the food catered for the event was delicious.

This is such an awesome club. The food is fabulous, and the staff are great! They are all friendly and obviously team players, helping one another out without ever being asked. The views are beautiful as well, and it’s super clean. There is something for everyone, all ages. I really enjoyed my time there and I definitely plan on returning.

I have been a member since 2016. I enjoy the events planned, and the kitchen always cooks up delicious food. The wine and beer lists are great, as are the mixed drinks. It's never too busy to feel comfortable, which is one of the reasons I enjoy being a member.

I will not say names in order to keep staff and management information private, but to start off I am heavily disappointed with this establishment. A manager at this establishment made an emotional decision due to their mistake instead of making a professional and business one by admitting they were in the wrong. This resulted in her firing a hard and diligent worker in order to re-hire a disrespectful and non-work friendly manager who use to antagonize and bully her staff. Honestly if this is how their staff is treated I can not imagine what else goes on behind closed doors….

Great views and outdoor seating options. Love the servers in the tiki bar area. The club’s commitment to sailing and boating in the area is second to none. We always see people we know at the club when we go which makes it fun. Our kids are on the junior sailing race team and have made lots of new friends and learned a sport that gets them out in nature and away from screens. Great club!

The SPYC offers lots of fun and diverse entertainment to choose from as well as a variety of boating excursions with both power and sail. In addition to attending MANY events, I enjoy listening to live music and dancing in the main lounge!! A GREAT place to make friends, have a delicious appetizer or meal and good drinks. Whether you are in the mood to sit outdoors at the tiki or indoors at the casual bar or want a more upscale atmosphere in the 1909 or Commodores room to eat and sometimes hear the piano playing. The members are fantastic people and I love being a member!

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. Before I say anything more, want to be clear that it seemed like the waiter(Alex) and waitress at the end were both genuinely awesome nice and friendly people who also seemed to be the only two staff dealing with a lot of work and people. Lastly want to note that I very very rarely ever leave bad reviews, as my history on here reflects. That being said this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had from what I'm assuming is an "upscale" nice place, I mean its a yacht club. All starts with the fact I'm allergic to gluten, I have Celiac Disease. When I asked about what gluten-free options they had I was told to look at the menu as it clearly stated what items can be made gluten free and I found a salad that stated exactly that. After waiting not too long but not very quick either I received my salad and right after putting the dressing on and I'm about to take my first bite I noticed there was fried onion toppings that were clearly breaded which luckily I was able to catch. So I waited until the waiter came back to ask what was going on with those and he told me he was wondering himself why they were on there and told me he would come back to let me know after he asked the kitchen if it was safe and when he came back he immediately started apologizing saying that they were not gluten free even though once again on the menu is said it was so the menu was incorrect which is obviously a big issue for me and anyone else who has celiac disease or is allergic to gluten in anyway. So the menu needs to be fixed. This was my last day of the vacation I was on visiting family and friends who live here and needless to say if I would have eaten that I would have been sick for days going back home to work. That was the biggest issue. the next two were simply the fact that I asked for a to-go box from the waiter which never came after 20 minutes so I finally went and asked the waitress who started helping us at the end for a to-go box which again never came after 15 minutes then when she came back I put in an order for an expresso as the rest of the table I was with order drinks because they were waiting for me to finish my new salad that was brought out without the onion that was fried like the first one. That expresso never came either and still no to go box. Ended up leaving the place with no to-go box and no expresso and the expresso was not on the tab so at least it didn't get rung up but also goes to show that the waitress never even added it to begin with even though I ordered it. Point being it was not a good experience at all but could have been worse I guess if I had not caught the gluten-containing onions on the salad and the food wasn't bad at all it was actually quite good. But I hope somebody with some sort of power or control in terms of management of this place reads this to be sure that the menu is fixed because someone is going to get sick if they haven't already and also the Staffing issue or lack of needs to be fixed as well because waiting over 30 minutes after asking two people for a to-go box that never came along with a drink order that never came. So yeah that's about it and my apologies for the long review btt was just simply ridiculous.

We did all the yachtclubs and St Pete Yacht Club was always our favorite off all. We are since 7 years member at the club, and are very, very happy!!!! It is one big family. The staff and members, we are one! The GM Mr Reyndam made the club to a happy place, best food. SUPER CLUB!!!!!!

Attended a rehearsal dinner party here and it was fantastic!!! Food was superb and the atmostphere was delightful. My negative experience came from the valet parking. I suspect that the driver left the headlights when he parked my car, causing the battery to die. When my husband asked the valet driver about it, he denied it. When I called to let the manager know, the manager gave my number to the valet driver in question who called me back to defend himself further. Never got to speak to a manager, never got an apology, very poorly handled.

My boyfriend is a member here and I always have such a great time at all of the events they put on. He gets great parking in the bustling Downtown St. Pete area. SPYC is a great place to network and meet other successful professionals. Their poker run events are very fun!

One of the few 5 diamond yacht clubs in the country. SPYC is known for hosting many world class regattas. Rich traditions dating back to 1909. Great tiki bar upstairs overlooking the harbour. You can message membership if you are interested in joining.

Fact - took Sailing Class. Fact - Great Teacher Fact - Class and Teacher stated year of Sailing was included in price of class. Fact -My black Wife and I sailed with Manager seeing us. Fact - Week later email from Manager stated I would have to pay for Membership to sail. Fact - I contacted two classmates that stated they DID Not receive same email. Fact - Contacted entire class through email, including teacher Fact - Know one in class responded. Fact - Teacher forwarded email to Head of Yacht Club. Fact - No response Fact - I will NEVER recommend St. Petersburg Yacht Club, Sailing Center
