Lived up to Freedom Boat Club standards. Boat in top condition, clean, reliable, performed spot on, like a champ. Service impeccable, the dock attendants go above and beyond to make sure you’re prepared prior to leaving the dock, and welcoming and helpful when you get back.

The person assisting with our boat was not personable. I have been a member for over five years and had not experienced this prior. She was not attentive and lacked customer service skills. Upon check out I asked how much and she said 18 gallons and gas was listed at about 3.75 per gallon and I was overcharged . I did response with an email and have not heard back why is there an over charge. I asked for a cart and she told me to retrieve it myself. She did not offer assistance to unload the boat. She also was more focused on moving our boat and two of my small children got off and then she untied the boat pushed us off and is yelled what are you doing?? Bring me back my kids cannot be on the dock unattended. She pulled the boat back in and tied it off so we can get down and I had a serious and firm discussion that at no point is it ok to not put safety first. There are no guardrails they do on have their vest on anymore and can easily fall in. She needs to learn to communicate better as well as become more service oriented. She created an environment that was unsafe, uncomfortable, and did not meet expectations. I would like to file a formal complaint and have someone call me to have this addressed. Thank you.

The freedom boat club locations that I go out with my brother Rex and Friends always impress me with the experience dark hands and professionalism. The boats are always cleaned and well maintained. This location was nearest St Pete Pier. It's always nice when I'm invited out on the boat there's never a bad boat day.

I've been a Freedom Boat Club member for over ten years now and I absolutely love it. I have no doubt in my mind that I will continue to be a member for years to come! It's such a great value. Having the ability to take a boat out in so many different places around the country and around the world is just incredible. I can't speak highly enough about the club.

My family and I were extremely excited to be part of FBC when we signed up and it was a great experience, initially. My wife got pregnant, she stopped working and we were stuck living off of my VA disability. We put the membership on hold for a nominal monthly fee that was low impact. When it was time for the contract to start up again as normal, we did so with no complaints.
When the time recently came for our window to cancel the contract, we were excited because we have been pinching pennies to satisfy our end of the bargain at over $400 a month. When we reached out to cancel we were told there was a 31-60 day cancellation requirement. We requested relief from that and a refund since we had not used the service in 10ish months. They said the issue needed to be escalated. We were told we would be added to an email chain and that did not happen. When my wife called back to get an idea of what was going on, she was told that the issue was escalated high up to someone named "Michelle" and that Michelle did not find our reasoning compelling enough for relief. Not only are we being charged another month, but they executed an off schedule payment to satisfy the contract with no warning which is out of order from their own stated process, which I confirmed on my cancellation phone call. I was told that having multiple account owners would mean that our cancellation date would be recorded as the date that all owners requested the cancellation, via the form, separately. Not the case.
I do not appreciate a faceless corporate employee who has the subjective authority to authorize cancel relief options choose not to because she feels my not being able to afford an extra month paying well over 10% of my fixed income on a service we dont use.
We paid on time, we tipped well and you made A TON of money on us since we were so limited in our ability to use the service since signing up. Shame on you.
If you choose to use this service, expect the same because the reviews you will read are mostly people that are in the middle of the service and have not experienced the cancellation process that rivals that of time share scams.(my opinion)
I have multiple active military friends in my network that use this service on the west coast and they will be cancelling at their contract end date(in the time prescribed, Michelle dont worry.)

Your dock staff, particularly Dani was awesome. Great communication and followup and was able to respond to us the "night before" on our request for a boat on Thursday afternoon. We appreciate when we get the response the evening before instead of "day of" as it really helps us to plan

Boats seem to be more available than in recent years so my satisfaction with the organization is improving. A year or two ago I was telling people that it was not worth the money because of lack of availability while the club simultaneously tried hard to recruit new members. Things seem to be turning around. In spite of past frustration with availability, that the boats are in good working order and well maintained, and the dock staff at all locations are always polite, hard working and professional.

The day was very windy. However, the wind direction was not horrible for a short boat ride. The team at the dock texted us in advance to have us change boats to a better boat for the conditions. We ended up having a fun day on the boat. The FBC does a great job! Thank you,

Booked a reservation several months ago for a boat that hold 12 people on the day of reservation we showed up being told the boat was only rated for 10’which was clearly marked on the boat. I had to tell two friends they could not go boating something that had been planned for months. Freedom did nothing at the dock to try to solve the issue which was a fail.

Great location, friendly/helpful staff. This was our first time at this marina. Julia helped us at this location and went above and beyond to make our boating experience awesome. Thanks for that! It was also good to see Keep Pinellas Beautiful (water warrior alliance) cleaning up the water way at this location. They did a phenomenal job.

Took a pontoon out 3/16/23 and the dock staff was great! Holly advised us in the morning it was a bit rough so we took her advice and went out in the afternoon which was much better. Thanks Holly! Went south to Big Bayou which was calm and a good anchoring spot.

The staff at this dock are amazing. Special note to James and Dani who made both our trips amazing. Dani was very helpful and knowledgeable about the Navonic App. James made our day by offering us a full day out after a afternoon reservation canceled. He was also super helpful off loading the pontoon. Just loving my salt life.

Great concept and friendly staff but you need to plan out 4 to 6 weeks in advance to secure an open water boat. It is very expensive entry so make sure you ask about how hard it is to schedule boats. In less than a year we are canceling our membership, big waste of money. We live in St Pete area.

The staff at Harborage are inexperienced. They provided no assistance about places to go or other marinas in the area when asked. The checkout process took 30 minutes when others have taken 5.

East wind made the bay a little choppy found some calm water and waited for the wind to die down while we had lunch. By 1:00 the wind died down and we enjoyed the rest of the day exploring the bay. Jake at downtown St. Pete was very helpful.
