Yikes! The owner just argued with my husband about the growth all over the prop and hull - they “cleaned” our boat 1 week ago but the algae growth was well over 1 month old and Owner insisted the hull was cleaned. 34 years of boating experience and we all know that the growth doesn’t grow this bad in 6-7 days. My advice to the hull cleaner - admit the employee did not clean the prop or hull properly.

Despite usually good service, the last bottom “cleaning” of our 37ft sailboat was either missed or a poor job. Full throttle speed dropped from over 7 to a little over 6 knots due to extra drag from fouling. Max engine rpm dropped from 3200 to 2800 rpm, indicating a fouled prop. Their senior diver said the hull and running gear was consistent with water temps. NOT VERY CUSTOMER FRIENDLY! PS: I have pics of oyster shells on our skeg rudder which was clearly missed.

Terrible service and terrible customer service. After issues explained to them about the service they were providing all they want to do is blame everyone else but them or their service people. Gave them multiple chances to fix it and they didn’t the people who answer the phones are very rude unprofessional. After I received multiple complaints they still want to say it’s not applicable to them instead of fixing the problem they want to argue with you. As I am not the one to write reviews everyone should be aware of these scam artists that they come off as they know what their doing once you start having problems you will never get them resolved. Also, as being owner you would think the owner would want to resolve the issues with his customer, oh no he wants argue and not give any chance to speak to him at all. I paid months for service not rendered by the company with no proof from them. If I could rate them 0 stars I would. Beware !! Update: to respond to their response, absolutely correct I did have fraud on a credit card of mine and which wouldn’t let the charges go through, but this doesn’t explain as to why I called in told them someone from marina notice high growth they said well if your gonna have inspected schedule us before so we can make sure it’s clean. But yet I’m paying for a monthly service for someone to just wipe their fingers or hand on the bottom of the boat. Yet I’ve made this issue aware and nobody can answer as to why. They send go pro videos but it only shows someone wiping their fingers at the bottom of the boat. Unfortunately this hasn’t been great or even satisfactory service from the start.

Hill2prop has always done a great job, alerted me of their schedule, and been very understanding when my vessel was not at the at the marina. Compared to others I am familiar with in this industry, Hull2Prop, in my opinion is the best.

I have been using them for diving services on my sailing catamaran for the last five years. As my boat is behind my house, their automated message sent before each cleaning is really nice so I know whenever they’re coming. Top-notch work, and a very reliable company. I’m very glad I found them.

Fantastic experience with Chris and his team of divers at Hull to Prop. They do a fantastic job on my Viking from her regular cleanings to whenever I need my propellers pulled or cutless bearings replaced. Their underwater videos and communication for all of their work are what has really set them aside from everyone else in my mind. Highly recommend!

These guys know what they are doing! Great overall experience and service, were very proficient and were able to service my boat efficiently and quickly. They were very thorough in explaining the process and fees that they offer for regular service. Their website is also very clear about everything they covered with me over the phone. They said to always call if I had any questions, or check out their website which gave detailed reviews on everything. Super glad their team of divers and staff have been so great to work with. It is truly difficult to find companies like them today.

I shipped my boat from Lake Michigan in late October. I hired Hull 2 Prop to clean the bottom of my boat prior to my new lift being installed. They sent me a video that showed their technician wiping their hand on the bottom of my boat. When My boat was put it up on the lift it showed a few swirl marks where the technician had rubbed the bottom of my boat with his hand in a blue rubber glove. They claimed that the discoloration on the boat happened in five days. But you can clearly see where they’re technician simply made swirls in the discoloration. They did not use brushes they did not use pressure they simply used their hand…and not that diligently. This company is a dishonest at best.
