Captain Tristan was amazing! No manatees, but he tried his hardest. We did see two gators, and a bull shark! Fighting weather, but we made it through our tour just fine.
Great Private docks at the F gate! Slip F5 is available for rent as well! Best winter location. Get in touch and stay awhile 😀 …
This is a nice quiet launch to get you out into the Ten Thousand Islands quickly. When it's way too shallow to launch at Everglades City, this ramp is just able to get up to a 20' boat in. At high tide, you can launch just about anything here. Ramp's not too slippery either.
Nice activity in the marina with tarpon rolling and guided trips coming in and out. The staff and ship store clerks all seem to be friendly and helpful.
Nice and quiet alot of peace ✌️. Water was clear, freshwater weir was flowing over into saltwater it was nice couple Gators it's always nice here and quiet.
We took a Manatee sight tour (1 1/2hr tour) with Captain John Thormann. He was very gracious and welcoming and very knowledgeable in his tour.
He made the tour fly by with conversation and information about the wildlife and the general area. Give him a try. You will enjoy his approach.
Captain John was great! Very informative and knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. We saw alligators, manatee, turtle, sharks.
We had Captain Storm and it was a great tour! We saw many manatees, a couple alligators, and one bull shark. He was informative, made the tour entertaining, and had a relaxing atmosphere.
It's a quiet place with a few homes and a small marina. For me, it's main attraction is its ease of access to the heart of the 10,000 Islands Wilderness Area.
Cool area. Was a meeting spot for our guided fishing tour. The Ship's Store was really neat. Whole area is clean, pretty quiet, nice landscaping.
We saw manatees, alligators, blue & gray herons, numerous other birds. Our guide Andrew was wonderful! Told us all about manatee and alligator habitats and habits, and the local area.
I recently visited Port of Islands Marina to buy some bait, but my experience was overshadowed by something extremely disturbing. When I walked in, I was met by the female cashier engaged in a blatant, racist conversation with another customer. Shockingly, she tried to bring me into it, assuming that as a white person, I would agree with her horrific, discriminatory remarks about non-white individuals.
Her openness in sharing such vile comments about others, without any regard for who was listening, was stomach-turning. It’s hard to believe someone representing a business could be so publicly and unapologetically hateful, not realizing (or not caring) how damaging and wrong her words were.
Unless the owners take clear, decisive action to address this issue and remove this kind of behavior, I will no longer be giving my business to Port of Islands Marina. I urge anyone who rejects this kind of racism to reconsider supporting this establishment until they prove they are committed to fostering a respectful and inclusive environment.
Quiet old charm. If your looking for modern exciting night life, well, wrong location. Want quiet country laid back it's perfect as is.
Went with Captain Allan on the Manatee Eco Tour on Sunday, March 6 at 1:15. Saw 8 manatees which he said was amazing. Saw one alligator, mangroves & some native birds. Captain Allan has a great personality. Very informative & educational tour!
After casually fishing here for over 10 years
I was tossed out. I was perhaps the only other person at this marina. While strictly speaking there are signs that say no fishing near the store. I was fishing where many many other people have fished over the years. This used to be a friendly place I would come to. I guess I am no longer welcome.
This is silly as I am the kind of person they want around. I release what I catch, I respect the environment and don’t trash
The place. Like I was never there.
Now I won’t be spending any money here either. Nice job
Had a wonderful weekend at port of the islands. Stayed at the hotel nice place. Went out on the boat with my kids and wife. Had a great time, as I was getting the boat back on the trailer my wife and kids sat in a bench in the shade by the marina. As my kids where playing by the bench the store attendants came out and told my kids to stay back. As my kids are toddlers they did not understand and by the time my wife notice the store attendant was pushing them back with a roll of paper towel as leverage. I did not see the incident and my wife did not tell until I was on the road back home but in my book that is considered assault on a minor and if I had known them and there I would of called the authorities and watch the surveillance video with them and determined if charges would of been appropriate. I know the covid has everyone on edge but that doesn’t give u the right to push a kid back that’s almost a baby with a roll of paper towel.
I am rating the Marina, not the tours, to be specific. In February we needed a slip for about a month before we left for Mexico so we called up what had become our friend, John the dockmaster, from back in 2019 when we were there for several month. He worked it out and fit us in and it felt like being back home. A lot of the people we had met were still there but we still met many more. We can see ourselves landing here when we are done cruising. Can't say enough about this hidden gem.
Very unhappy with the Ships Store. We told them were there for Island Hoppers boat tour. They told us it was $10.00 to park said nothing about the free parking across the street!
Island Hoppers boat tours were great! We had a wonderful time with a very nice, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Highly recommend Island Hoppers.
Stay away from the Ships Store thieves!
Great experience...We really were lucky to see a family of manatees...Captain John was very informative along with telling lots of fun things as well...
Captain Andrew was great! He was very knowledgeable!! We saw some manatees and sharks which was incredible. I would recommend touring with Captain Andrew!
Check out the eco tour or get a fishing charter through Wild Florida Eco Tours. They are great, and have an office in the main lobby of the hotel. We have done both and our family had a blast!
Went here for a mannatee tour, Was a exclent experience, Capitain Barry of mannatee tours was great, knowable friendly and took us on a ride we won't forget, seem 20plus manatees a bull shark birds, He was great. I would definitely recommend
We went on a boat tour with Logan and it was amazing!! He was friendly & made us all laugh, and taught us a lot about the coastal area. I would definitely recommend taking a tour there!!
We took a manatee tour. Captain Storm was great.
My grandfather was a fishing tour captain before he died and we've been coming here since I was little. One of the absolute best marinas around. I love coming here.
Nice facility but the couple that was working the place 3/12/22 (I assume management and husband wife) were some of the rudest folks ever encountered. Confrontational as well.
Great marina. Good public ramp. 4 stars due to lack of public dock space. Not a big deal in the offseason what could be a very big challenge on a busy day..
Great cove to see manatees and alligators hanging out nearby.
Very clean , very nice , fast loading/unloading , good non slippery ramp wide enough for two medium size boats $8 fee boat ramp use , plenty of parking space.
Children’s fishing charter with Capt. Billy twin granddaughters each caught fish within one minute. We all caught fish
Was here for a manatee viewing excursion. Captain Storm was our boat captain. Good guy!
Tickets for parking, the machine out at the dock is a joke, inside the store they are very nice and helpful.
I love it here. Im here more than my home
Enjoyed our afternoon manatee tour and saw several manatees. Would definitely come again!
Nice fishing quite place to put in and go out of. Must pay to park and pay again to launch the boat per the County...
Pretty spot. Good for boat rental.
Well sized. Ramp was busy, tons of parking, the main store has a little bit of everything
Great little marina
nice and quiet. Everyone is friendly. If you are looking to relax and just chill this is perfect.
Did a sunset cruise with Captain Brian. Very friendly and informative. Enjoyed it very much.
Quiet clean comfortable. Lots to see and do there.

Super cool place, we went on a tour and the guide guy was very helpful
Nice place, friendly people, nice canoe ride in the overall we spened a nice day.
Not super friendly. Didn't want to share any local knowledge. One word answers with attitude.
Manatee trip with captain Storm is great fun.
The people are very welcoming and treat you like family.
This marina is great. Clean, quiet, and very friendly staff.
It also has a nice store for snacks
Such a terrific place ! Only good things to say
I would rate this place higher but then you would come here and I would have to share it with you
Don't waste your money not worth it.
Shallow water We have to wait for high tide
Always the same do a lot of work for the boaters
The sushi was a little too raw for me
Manatee tour!!! Loved it.
Top notch fishing and lodging
A hidden gem in the Everglades…
Marina. Nothing special to say.
We booked a manatee boat tour there. It was very interesting and educational. Of course, we also saw wild manatees drinking freshwater in the canals. Photographing these animals is difficult because they only surface briefly, breathe, and dive again. Still, it was a first-class experience.
A small, quiet marina. This is the starting point for several tours (e.g., "See Manatees," fishing trips, and other boat tours).
The parking fees are quite exorbitant, now a flat $10 everywhere. There are no free parking spaces left. However, it's not at all clear how one is supposed to pay. So we just parked wherever we wanted.
We took a tour with Captain Storm, a very nice experience!
We saw several manatees and some crocodiles during a trip that lasted approximately two hours.
Best regards 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷 …
A manatee, an alligator, dolphins, and a deserted island. Interesting excursion
Weekend getaway to the 10,000 islands in Marco Island. Recommended for those who want to experience driving a mini catamaran with a motor. Don't miss it!
