Store has a very large selection of vinyl. Unfortunately it's not scayegorizrd and sorted. The owner and his son are very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful in assisting with finding particular selections. The owner in particular seemed to know a lot about jazz. He has some vintage first pressing of jazz albums. Although they were a bit out of my price range he was very the happy to show the to me. Recommended visiting the store just be prepared to spend some time flipping through crates.

Great place if you are into vinyl because he has tons. If you have the time and like searching for a good record the fashioned way, this is the place. He has a great selection and so many to go through. You may have to move a few boxes, and space may be a little snug but so worth the time. If you're in Fort myers, stop by and say hi, the owner is super friendly

Their collection is amazing. It's a bit crowded but that's because of how much stuff they have. The sales person is very friendly, even gave my 5 yr old granddaughter a free record. Very cool.

Great store, with records being the bulk of the store, followed by comics and figures, Record Trader is a honey hole for rare and hard to find items across the board. The owners Ralph and his son Monty are very knowledgeable when it comes records and comics and more than likely have what you need. If you’re in the area stop by you won’t regret it.

This store is a treasure trove for collectors, offering a wide selection of used comic books, records, CDs, and old action figures, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I've been to both their RecordTrader1 shop and their booth at Fleamasters. They are always packed with good finds!

Very knowledgeable staff. And large selection of new and old records tapes CDs, comic books, stereo equipment. spent half the afternoon chatting with them and buying records. Had to limit my choices so I could get them on the airplane home.

This place is legit. It's the best kind of record store experience: new and used albums, too many used albums stuffed into way too small of space, and I say this with absolute fondness, because it's like searching for treasures. Owner and his brother (I think they're brothers?) are super friendly and love to chat about music and they know pretty much every record they have in the store, it seems. I worked in a chain music store for five years so I always feel a connection with music sellers but this place fills all your cool record store needs, and if he doesn't have something, he'll do his best to track it down for you. Also, unlike other, more glitzy record stores, this place doesn't make you feel like a sellout hipster when you walk inside, lol. Been to lots of other very lovely, very beautifully manicured record stores and give me the overstuff boxes and good vibes of Record Trader 1 over a fancy hipster store any day! Aside from the good vibes, I've bought several used records from this store, some of them 50+ years old, and the quality has been excellent across the board. Seems like they don't just buy any used album, and I appreciate that.

Terrible customer service, trying to sell CDs and Records. Had gotten a terrible attitude from the workers and it was awful trying to walk in there. Very bad safety hazard. The aisles were very small. Records and CDs filled the place to the brim, if a fire occurred good luck because it is very difficult trying to get out.

One of my favorite places to hunt for records. The owner is a nice guy, very knowledgeable, easy to talk to. He has all kinds of stuff. Place is a little small and he has so many boxes of stuff it can be a little overwhelming, but if you know what your looking for ask and he will help you find it. If your looking for a grail or just something common chances are he will have it. Overall good place, good guy, ok prices. Have been back many times.

This is my favorite place to go in town, even just as a place to look around. The store is packed to the brim with all formats, with CDs being somewhat lesser. There's hundreds of vinyls and, the holy grail for me, cassettes. The guys there are personable and friendly, and are always fun to talk to about almost any band or artist. They'll even sometimes recommend a band similar to one you're interested in if you're talking about them.

If you’re a record collector definitely check this place out. The staff is super friendly and went out of their way to look for a couple of albums for me. In fact, I felt guilty not buying anything simply because the guys there were so nice and talkative. Hoping to give my business to them someday soon.

I went there to buy some key issues and the owner and his son told me they keep all the good books for them self and only sell people their low grade books. I then asked if they could help direct me in the right direction after telling them the types of books I was looking for and the owner says you don’t even know what you want after me just telling him exactly what I was looking for. 100% do not recommend unless you are just looking for low grade low quality books. Any books of any decent grade or value they will not sell to you and they cherry pick all the best books for them self. Don’t get me wrong I understand a comic store taking good books for them self. However they should at least leave a few decent books for their customers to have a good experience when coming coming in. Don’t go there unless you want a book valued at under $200 and at that it will be overpriced in terrible condition. Also owner told me numerous times high quality books are expensive and that I probably couldn’t afford them. Worst experience ever!

As a vinyl collector for nearly 50 years I'm always on the hunt every time I travel for stores. Out of a half dozen or so in the Ft. Meyers area I decided on this one. Lots of interesting pieces here. Lots of things I would have been interested in buying, but quite a few were well above market prices. Probably explains why a lot of it was still there. The place is so packed it's actually damaging some of the sleeves. It is a great dig. When you dig you stand a fair chance of coming up with some in market range. I did walk out with 5 that were definitely unique and within market prices. The ridiculously uncomfortable conditions make it difficult to spend more than 30 minutes in there. I occasionally will spend upwards of 4 hrs or more on a good dig. Couldn't do that here Finally, he uses price stickers attached directly to the sleeves. Not the easy to remove ones either. Cheap ones that damage even the best coated sleeves. This is a showstopper especially at some of these prices. If you want me to pay top dollar I want an absolutely pristine product. Not something that the art has been married by dime store price stickers. It would be worth going back but there are a lot of other places to explore.

Love this location. I have not been back in 10 years, since moving to Orlando, but he has tons of vinyl records, a bunch of DC & MARVEL action figures from the 90s and early 2000s. Cassette tapes and statues on sale as well. Ralph is always welcoming and cool as hell. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I'm convinced this is the best record store in the Southwest Florida area. I used to live here but moved to Naples, but whenever I go out hunting for records this is where I go. I never have to call in and ask if they have something because 99% of the time they have it and more. The only time I had trouble finding a record is the first King Crimson album, which after 3 visits to buy other albums, they ended up having it! This place is amazing.

I had a broken record player and the owner himself got it working again with no problem. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable I couldn’t have had a better experience I’ll be sure to only buy records here. I even got two rare records for cheap while I was there.

GREAT SPOT!!!!! They have a little bit of everything when it comes to vinyl. Great prices and friendly staff, stopped in looking for something specific and ended up staying over an hour looking through vinyl and talking and laughing sharing stories about music. Highly recommend stopping by

Well this Eagle has been to Many Comic Book and Novelty Stores from New York to Miami and let me just say, this is a hidden gem. Never been to a Record shop that sells Comic books!! Impressed I am. Ralph is a super cool dude with straight up helpful attitude. Store has some T-Shirts, Loads of Vinyl, Action figures, Turntables, Music Equipment and so much more. Its like whacking a piñata and goodies keep falling out. Good hunting..There's only one other store with similar goodies and that's A & M Comics in Miami. Hole in one Gems. Well may the force be with you and Jedi strong..

If I could give this place more than five stars, I would. Wow! I'll start out by saying if you're looking for a neat, tidy record store, never mind. This place is wall to wall boxes of records ranging from used mixed bins where you'll need to hunt to somewhat organized bins categorized by band and the alphabet. BUT they've got EVERYTHING! Records I've been hunting around for or the stuff you have to but off eBay for six figures (I don't do that by the way) are yours for a fraction of the price. On my first visit, I walked out with 4 albums I'd been searching for as well as 4 amazing surprises (8 total) for just under $45. And the folks who work there know and love music and know they're inventory. Awesome place - what a find!

Lots of records in this small place and tons more packed in boxes which seem to have taken over everything here. Prices a tad high and many boxes with other records that the owner will refuse to let you look at, since he hasn't sorted them yet. Very tight spaces, almost resembles a hoarders home, but with boxes of comics, records, 45s and other stuff everywhere. Even boxes on top of the Beatles albums!! And so many used and vintage turntables that are visible, but you can't look at them because they are piled on top of each other! More stuff in that tiny, narrow pathway to the restroom you could imagine that probably hasn't been sorted in years!! Suggestion, try to move into a much bigger room, it'll look much more organized. 2/5 stars

If you're any self respecting audiophile Record Trader is the place to go in SWFL. Small store but Huge on the quality LP here. Run by a father and son the two are full of knowledge and are great Lovers of music. The store also has a great variety of comic books, action figures also retro video games.

Visiting from Canada, and even with the US exchange, I found the prices affordable for some rare vinyl finds. With boxes of stacked vinyl and blacked out windows, it ain't a pretty place, but perfect for crate digging and finding the good stuff with knowledgeable staff to point you in the right direction.

Very unorganized. Totally cluttered to the point where only one person can walk around. You have to go around the labyrinth if someone needs to pass. Seems like a safety hazard to me.

When I was there, records did have a price. Has tons of records. Lots of rare ones. I got a nice deal on one. Only big complaint: the owner has a Trump/Pence bumper sticker.

Went to sell some records one 5 occassions, and the place was closed every time. Hours not accurate at all. Looked through the door and windows andnit's nothing but junk.
