I had a craving for fish and saw this place near where I was staying. I figured if it's Irish, there must be fish and chips. I was delighted to find out it was haddock! It was flaky with a crunch coating. Delicious!

Went to see Fulcos and see the Christmas tree lighting. Nice atmosphere, fun time. Disappointing that they had a limited menu, regardless if you were sat inside or out. Wanted pizza but they were not serving. There were 6 in our party and it was not surprisingly busy with all the Christmas festivities. We were unable to get a table so sat in some random chairs so ordering food that was not easily handled with no table was crucial. We left and went to eat somewhere else. If I travel intentionally over the bridge from St Pete, I may give the restaurant a try again. We really enjoyed the outdoor area for the music and cocktail aspect.

Mostly basic bar food, yet doesn't have a lot of items you might associate with an Irish-themed bar in the US: cabbage, fried pickles, soda bread, or even Irish music. Even more bizarre, evidently the flatbread crust is deep fried. And there are absolutely zero options for vegetarian/vegan options other than a salad.

11:45 pm and Salty Shamrock still playing loud music. This is a residential area. There are people who have to get up for work or just want to sleep. Instead we hear lousy music. Went to the Salty Shamrock just to get the crawfish boil. Was very disappointed. The crawfish was way undercooked which made it difficult to get the meat out. They do cook to order which means the crawfish don't get a chance to soak in the seasonings. That's probably why they were plain tasting and not spicy.

I'd give them 4 or 5 stars but they're not practicing CDC guidelines for Covid19. Very few employees wear their masks correctly. Covers their mouth but not their nose, touching all over them, lifting them up when they're talking to you, etc. Perfect place to get sick, so don't go it you're concerned or high risk.
