I was just there about 30 minutes ago, my first time there and it was a great experience. I didn't catch the therapist name but she did an amazing job definitely one of the best massages I have ever had!! I will definitely be going back there.

Best massage in town! By far! I have never went back for another massage unless it's a birthday or special occasion but at Massage Star not only do I go back all the time so does my entire family now!

The massage was great. The payment portion was a little awkward. I prepaid $140 (plus a fee for using my debit card) for a couple's massage, and the receipt had no spot for a tip. At the end of the massage, I gave all the random cash I had in my wallet to one of the massage therapists, and she counted it, scoffed, and then said, "This all? Can you scan the card for more?" The entire exchange was awkward and distasteful. The massage was great, but if a tip is an expected part of the package, add it as a receipt option for those of us who don't carry cash.

As soon as I walked in for my appointment they demanded payment. I thought that was odd because most places charge after your service. There was a horrible smell inside the massage room. The massage was good however the smell was so bad i couldn’t enjoy it.

Fair massage and decent price. When I arrived, the place smelled pretty awful but luckily the staff added a febreze wall plug in so that helped. The massage tables were good size but they only lay a regular size rough bath towel on top of you which doesn't feel like a lot of coverage. They also had limited staff when I went so my friend's massage was interrupted multiple times whenever a new customer would walk in or the phone would ring. Not a bad massage but definitely not as professional as some of the ones I've had previously.

Worst massage ever! The guy basically rubbed and patted me for an hour - no attempt to work on anything. Kept moving from legs to back to neck. Clearly had no idea what he was doing. I was completely uncovered for most of the time so I was freezing and there was NO attempt to make me feel comfortable. I felt very exposed. When done the lady up front asked for me to leave a tip and got upset when I said no. I asked if he was actually licensed and she shrugged her shoulders!! I told her there was absolutely no way he knew how to do massage and she shrugged again. Unbelievable- $70 for an hour of uncomfortable, cold, creepy feeling experience. I’m not alone - my BF was in a different room and had a very similar experience as well. She removed his underwear because they were in her way. A truly professional massage therapist does not do things that make their clients uncomfortable. He also asked her to work on his arms and shoulders and she simply said “we do back”. He will for sure have bruises since she just hammered away. STAY AWAY For your own good.

I have been coming here for about 5 years, and have been treated great on every occasion. They all go a tremendous job,and over the years, I have seen many of their therapists. The only negative,is they are almost always busy, and will sometimes leave to answer the phone or the door. Whoever you get, you can't go wrong, I cannot recommend this spa enough. Hands down the best in the area.

Please read this before booking. I booked an appointment for 10 AM. The lady didn’t get to me until 10:45, after she kept telling multiple times she’s was going to be ready for me in 15 minutes. The massage was okay, nothing professional. She didn’t bother to ask if I have any problem areas/pain anywhere. If you are someone that doesn’t feel comfortable being completely naked don’t book here, she literally took everything off of me... At the end, I had the cash to pay, and she gave me the money back requesting a tip... after I had to wait over 45 minutes.

My boyfriend and I went here for a couple's massage and it was amazing. The ladies were kind and professional and the facility was quiet and clean. We both agreed that it was the best massages we've ever had and they were very affordable. We will definitely be coming back soon.

The lady there did an amazing job. Have had quite a few and this one was the best massage yet. Definitely recommend me and the wife both really enjoyed it. Was so relaxed almost past out a few time.

Best massage I've ever had and I work in the spa industry! Kelly was AWESOME and gave the best full body massage in 60 minutes. It was so relaxing and my soreness is all gone. I'll be coming back!

I’m giving 5 stars for Vicky. Unfortunately she is not there no more. She was AMAZING! Best sports massage & walk on back ever. I workout 5 days a week & her massages every couple weeks were life saving. I’m hoping management brings vicky back so I can start going. If you do management, let me know. I’ll be happy to bring start coming back.

I came here for a deep tissue massage, I can say nothing but good things and recomend this place to everyone I see and anyone who reads this. My pain is gone. My knots are gone! I was sore for two days but it was so worth it. I wish I remembered my massage therapist's name so I could give her credit. I even got hot stones and warm towels. It was the best full body deep tissue massage for 60 min I've ever gotten. I will be returning and bringing my boyfriend for a couples massage. Can't wait

Worst massage and experience. I have nothing positive to say. They collect payment up front as soon as you walk in. We had scheduled an appointment for a Thai couples massage and what we got was some kind of body rub from two giggling teenagers whispering to each other in Chinese the whole time. They had no idea what they were doing. They rubbed our back bones in the same spot for 50 minutes. One therapist left the room to go answer the phone one of the two times it rang while we were getting an hour massage. There is no where to put your clothes or hang your purse. They use dollar store baby oil and paper towels to cover the head rest. I’ve had probably 100 massages and this was the biggest waste of 123 bucks ever.

Absolutely horrible! First, let me start by saying that I made an appointment online 2 weeks in advanced to insure that we would be seen, as we were traveling to Florida for Christmas from Ohio. We arrived and there was a note on the desk saying that they were busy, and to call a number for assistance. Okay, no big deal. The woman anwsered and I told them that I had an appointment and she said that they don't do online appointments and that it must be another company I was looking for. At that time, a woman walked in from the back. I told the woman on the phone that there was someone at the front desk and she immediately hung up on me. I explained the to woman that I had booked an appointment, and she cut me off and said that they don't do appointments. Once again I tried to explain to her that the address from the website I went on and the physical address there matched, along with the logo on both places, along with the ohone numbers. She continued to cut me off and got loud and said "we don't do appointments". So finally I asked her if she had any openings for a couples massage, as that is what I had originally booked for, and she said no I have another appointment after the one I'm with. When I started to ask her what she meant by "another appointment" she once again cut me off and said that they were busy and don't have room for us as there was only one masseuse in today. I asked her who the other lady I spoke to was, and she continuously cut me off and got loud again and said "we don't have room!". My husband and I walked out highly disappointed. I will NEVER return there and I highly DO NOT recommend this rude place!

I have been to Massage Star in Lakeland a number of times and each time the service is excellent. I have had massages by a several therapists and they all have been skilled professionals. I am an athlete and compete in organized sports and from time to time I have injured my back and shoulder. When I have an injury or just need a massage after a strenuous match I always go to see Sabrina or one of the other professionals that work at Massage Star. I am never disappointed, I always get an excellent massage and courteous and professional service. I especially enjoy the Ashiatsu massage. They are truly experts in this type of massage. If you truly want a "deep tissue massage" you can't beat this type of massage. I give "Massage Star" 5 stars and highly recommend it.

They are experts at their trade! My wife and I did a couple's deep tissue massage. As soon as they laid hands on me they knew exactly what I needed. They targeted specific problem areas on both us that we didnt even tell them were problem areas. They worked more on my left shoulder blade area which has been an issue for me for years, and my wife received more attention on her neck area; she suffers from chronic migraines due to her neck muscles. The people are friendly and know what they are doing. I have no negative feed back to give, they are just that good.

I did a walk in 30 mintues prenatal massage which was very much needed unfortunately cant remember who I had but she did a great job they have ever good prices nice and clean room light relaxing music

Awful. The massage was just random squeezing and pounding. No atmosphere, hot and they gave me an old towel to cover up with during the massage. It was a terrible experience.

Went to get a message and the ((((((Amy )))))) at the was going to leave her $5 tip gave her a $10 bill and asked for change and she stay with the whole ten dollars and refuse to get my change!!! Never coming here again this an abuse!!!!!! Take exacta change don't trust them..
