The Naples Great Expressions office is amazing! Dr. Russell Fidler is the first dentist I’ve ever had who I didn’t even feel the needle, he explains everything as he works and makes sure you’re comfortable the whole time. His assistant Celie is wonderful, and didn’t forget about the ladies at the front desk! They’re friendly, professional, and gave me great advice when needed help with whether I should switch dental plans. They know what they’re talking about! This office is worth the drive—God is good!
First off, let me say that the dentist and hygienists are very friendly and seem to do a decent job. Now, my 1 star review is completed directed at the billing department....which is a complete disaster. We have been overbilled on 2 separate procedures and never provided with any assistance in rectifying the errors. The customer service is non-existent and it doesn't appear that anyone in the billing department knows what they are doing. I would not recommend going to this office unless you want to get ripped off.
I had a great experience here and will definitely not switch from this dentist office! My hygienist was knowledgeable, kind, and gentle while cleaning my teeth. The patient coordinator at the front desk was very welcoming. Thank you.
Great Expressions has been my dental provider for several years now and I love my experiences there! Recently, I was having a routine procedure done and my provider at that time (Fanny Cuevas, R.D.H) was so personable, and calming. She helped me feel at ease during the entire procedure and I would highly recommend her services as well as the entire staff there. Front desk staff and dental hygienist were both amazing today. I had a deep cleaning and was very nervous. She was amazing. No pain at all and that was without any numbing shots. That says a lot.

I have been a patient at this office for nearly one year, with a lengthy dental plan. Each appointment I have been treated with the upmost respect and compassion. From the moment you walk in the front door to the smiling faces, to having safety glasses on with the doctor! Dr. Fidler is hands down ONE OF A KIND. He talks you through each and every moment before he starts and as he’s going so there are no surprises! This man could do dentistry with his eyes closed! I will recommend this specific office even make the drive from Cape Coral just because this staff never ceases to amaze me!! We have been there 7-8 times and not once have things been as they said. First time we got stuck for approximately $430.00 and we were told things were covered by insurance. Then my husband had to go back in about 4 months for cleaning but I didn't, which we started asking questions. Front desk knew nothing, plus we owed more money, asked for bill explaining bill and never did receive. I believe the next time my husband had to pay again. This time he goes in and he is told procedures are paid for when he left, he owed about $135. He questioned the costs, they said there was about $17 owing from previous visit. We were unaware of. Then the one procedure was not covered, he told front desk he was told by hygenist said no charge, she says she doesn't no. He looks at, I believe office manager sitting there and she insurance never pays for that procedure. Basically staff is not trained, but with that being said, I should walked out the very first time I entered that office because the front desk person, Cindy, I believe had an attitude, very very unfriendly! Also that first time, an older patient forgot her credit card and said she couldn't pay, this same receptionist had her in tears because she was told she could not leave. The person that drove her offered to pay for her, they recalculated and it was cheaper when he paid, now explain that to me. The driver asked and ai could not understand their explanation.
This time while my husband was discussing the charges and that he was missing informed, another patient comes in and they have no appointment for her because they changed it. This lady explained that she took time off work, changed her schedule, and they did not have common courtesy to tell her of the changes. She said just like this gentleman with his issues you people. She said she was changing dentists and my husband agreed.
My husband and I have well over 50 years combined in upper management and we both agree they would be gone immediately.
Obviously owner/uppermanagement don't care as they arr still there. Fortunately, there are at least three patients leaving. BTW, there were more issues with me, but this should suffice for now.
Everyone was very friendly and kind. Service was the best and blankets and pillows were supplied to make you more comfortable.
Great Expressions is a high functioning operation. Front office staff is quick with returning calls and processing arrivals which minimizes wait time because of efficiency. Dr. Fidler is prompt, engaging and talented in his craft. The same can be said for the multiple hygienist I have had over the years. Just today Fanny cleaned my teeth and was thorough in her work as well as explaining how to best care for m teeth. I highly recommend Great Expressions.

Dr Fidler and his staff are the best ever.
Not many people like to go to the dentist. I can actually say I do. I've been going to him for nearly 20 years. I followed him from Cape Coral to Naples, adding at least 30 miles onto my commute and I'm not the only patient that goes out of their way for the best. They're all very friendly and lighthearted making the appointment fly by. I've never once had an issue with any work he's done. I also have never had to wait like in many other doctor's offices

My DH was awesome. She was funny, had good suggestions for toothpaste and ultrasonic heads, and cleaned my teeth well with no discomfort. She also didn’t lecture me on my teeth and just got to work. The front office staff were VERY pleasant and walked me through a question I had about insurance without treating me like I was trying to nickel and dime them. Overall great experience.

Absolutely amazing experience!!!! I’ve only been here once before to get a root canal done. This was years ago. Now I came in again because of how great Dr. Fidler was in the past. Well he still is an absolutely awesome doc. Also, I cannot just ignore the fact that from the front desk to the hygienist all the staff were absolutely incredible. I’m about to have my first baby so I wanted to get my teeth cleaned and examined before he comes and the wonderful people here took care of me from head to toe in regards to everything I needed. Anyone that needs to see a dentist for anything should most definitely consider coming to Great Expressions! I can guarantee you that I left with an absolute great expression of my own so will you. I have the worst fear of the dentist office, period. I take medication to be able to calm my nerves. Robin at great expressions of pine ridge was my dental hygienist today and she was awesome and sweet. She talked me through the whole process and was very patient and respectful of my fear and anxiety. I highly recommend this office and their staff is great.

Every where I went they wanted many of thousands of dollars for multiple crowns. At GE I was able get a reasonable plan I could afford and save my teeth. I am beyond happy. Everyone has been so nice and flexible as I have braces and GE has altered their schedule so that my dental plan involves less trips to the orthodontist. Great and friendly service.
I received a call to come in earlier if I could, and I was just in the area so I did. I had a great experience with all staff. My hygienist was very knowledgeable and friendly. I always have a lot of questions and she was able to answer everything to My understanding. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

I have spent many years attending this office and I can happily say that it has been such an amazing experience. Not only has the staff been phenomenal but Dr. Russell Fidler has been amazing as well. He has a gift. I have always been 100% satisfied with all of the work he has done on my teeth. Today I was taken care of by a hygienist named Maria and she is absolutely amazing as well! I loved her technique, her recommendations, and her professionalism. I could recommend this office to anyone with no hesitation.
I recently attended an appointment at Great Expression Dentistry in Naples, FL. I feel it is necessary to explain my experience and for the company to put measures in place to make sure future patient rights are not violated as I was.
There are a few positives I would like to mention about my experience at the clinic. It was clean, they seemed to be running on time, the dental assistant was kind, and they did a good job taking my x-rays. Unfortunately, the positives stop here. Complaints and concerns are as follows:
1. They tried charging me a co-pay, even though my insurance doesn't have one.
2. They took a panoramic film x-ray that my insurance stated "is not medically necessary" when combine with full mouth x-rays showing they are trying to "rack up the bill".
3. The dentist, Dr. Fidler, was abrupt and rude. He came into the room, asked if I was in any pain, looked at my teeth, said a few things to his assistant, and abruptly left. He did not allow time for me to ask him questions, he didn't speak with me about the condition of my teeth, didn't give me tips on how to improve things. In fact, he was speaking to his assistant about the condition of my mouth while walking down the hallway leaving the exam room. I thought he was leaving the room to get something and the dental assistant said the visit was complete, very unprofessional.
4. After waiting a second time in the waiting room, one of the ladies working the front desk named Laura called me up and wanted to discuss the "treatment plan" in the waiting room in front of everyone. Patient conditions should be discussed in private, not in a waiting room where other patients can eavesdrop and learn about my personal health conditions - this place VIOLATED MY HIPPA!!
5. I had questions about the treatment recommended versus my current health condition Laura, started (in a nasty tone) "This is what the doctor recommended during the visit and if you don't follow this plan, you cannot continue as a patient."
First of all, the dentist saw me for literally 2 minutes and never actually spoke with me, so I never agreed nor was consulted about anything. When I questioned the clinical decisions, Laura, the front desk girl, sarcastically stated she is not clinical, the dentist doesn't have time to speak with me, and his recommendation stands (still in the middle of the waiting room). I never had a chance to hear the rationale for the recommendations nor did I learn about the current condition of my mouth; I had legitimate concerns that were silenced.
I go to the dentist every six months and they always give me a standard cleaning. I wanted to continue the typical x-rays/exam/cleaning at this place, but they won't let me. They want to do an intense cleaning which will include a numbing lotion and antibiotic, I've never heard of this for a cleaning. This place is doing everything they can to get as much money out of people as they possibly can, which is very unfortunate. I am involved in other health studies for serious health complications and cannot be putting unnecessary antibiotics into my blood stream.
6. Laura told me I am no longer welcome at their place of business and they refuse all future services because I filed a complaint. By law, a medical practice must provide services to a patient for at least 30 days before dismissing them from a practice. Also, based on my insurance regulations, I am assigned to this practice (as they accepted me) and can only change facilities the 1st day of each month if I submit for a change by the 15th of the previous month. I spoke with the regional supervisor regarding all these concerns once, she said she was going to call me back, but never did.
Overall, I had a terrible patient experience and left the clinic shaking due to the way I was treated. Lots of people are apprehensive about going to the dentist and staff should be compassionate toward patient anxiety and needs, but this place just argues with patients and treats them like they know nothing - all I wanted was a basic cleaning.

To be fair they did get me in immediately for a tooth that had fallen apart and needed to be pulled. So I liked them immediately for that alone.

After the stitches were pulled and my initial exam was done, they refused me a regular cleaning until I spent nearly $400 on a deep cleaning which I was happy to waive so I could have my basic cleaning do e which my insurance will pay for. Also I was told by Dr Fidler when someone gifts you $65k give me a call. This was in reference to my saying I couldn’t afford a partial, or bridge. He stood up and stormed out of the exam room. So, I reached out to their corporate office and asked for a waiver to give the office so I could continue to use them, this was their response

Clinic is very clean and efficient. Get a lot of calls to change my appointment and the text notifications are confusing because they direct you that you can cancel or change your appointment via text but then you still have to phone. My cleanings are costing more then they should with my insurance so I need to investigate that. Hygienist very friendly and knowledgeable.
Great Expression!!! The staff, hygienist, dental assistant and last but not least the dentist are awesome and wonderful.
2 teeth were taken out on same visit , one of them was broken on the process,a piece of a broken tooth was left sticking out pinching/cutting my tongue.
1 week later I went for doctor to take out stitches, mentioned it to him and told him about pain/tongue cut, he said “it will take 1 or 2 month to heal.
One more week trying to cope with pain, I couldn’t take it anymore and called for doctor to see me again, they told me to go in 1 hour, I had to leave work and drive 30 minutes to his office .
Doctor rush out of his office, put his finger on the piece of broken tooth and told me “ I prefer not doing anything now, comeback in 5 days before I go to Holiday break if it still hurts” .
I replied “ it hurts now and still will be hurting in 5 days “
Rushed out to his office and I was told to call back in 5 days, left there with the pain.
On the same shopping center next to CVS Pharmacy there is another dentist, walked in, paid cash for X-rays, doctor visit, and piece of tooth grind and in less than 30 minutes problem solved by a dentist I had never seen before in my life.
My family have been going to great Expressions for more than 10 years,ooks like it is time to change dentist office.
Dr Fidler is amazing, been with him almost 20 yrs. Robin my hygienist is also amazing.. the only thing I do not like with the office is the front staff. They can be very abrupt and rude with pts.. just their tone of voice is abrasive

At first I thought I had found a great dental office at Great Expressions. Well that quickly changed. 1/2023 I had a bone graft done by Dr Fidler. I was quoted $2400 approx. Humana advised bill was $5000 and they still need X-ray copies. I called and it was sent. Over a year and on 3/2024 I recd 2 past due bills from GExp. $1868.60. I no longer have Humana so in Good Faith I paid the full amount online. It was out of my bank acct in 2 mins. I called GExp to make sure I was up to date. I was told I had a $1868.60 credit on my acct. After numerous calls to Billing and the office, I have yet to get my money back. No answer or return call from billing. Sandy or Cindy at office opened 3 tickets to no avail. Now it is 5/21/24 still no response. One more complaint. I’ve had 2 appts with no cleaning. 2nd appt was told my one tooth was infected and bleeding gum. The Hygienist jammed the dental floss into my gums. That caused the bleeding. Dr wanted me to go back for 4 antibiotic shots in my gums around that tooth for $109 ea appt, I declined and my tooth is fine. I’m so disgusted. But the main issue is my $1868.60 credit “I want it back NOW”. I don’t suggest any of my family or friends ever go there.
I experience anxiety when going to the dentist. I had part 1 of my root canal today and let me tell you, gentle Dentist is an understatement. He should be made Dentist of the Year if not of every year. He walks you throughout the process and makes you feel more comfortable too. An AMAZING DENTIST. Dr. Russell Fidler is my primary dentist and he is really friendly and has a great CHAIR side manner. I can tell you this…Honest and tells you exactly in detail what needs to done.
Dr. Fidler has done extensive restoration work on my teeth with crowns and other measures and has done a very good job with keeping my price point where I could afford it. Why are negative review responses being directed to a specific email address? Wouldn't it be advantageous to hear the responses to those negative complaints and reviews to determine if they've been resolved?
After many years of going to Dr Fiddler whom we LOVE, I sadly have had to make the decision to go elsewhere. Why? I only see Dr Fiddler 2x a year mostly and every single appointment I've had over the last few years like clockwork I get a call at the last minute telling me that they have to reschedule because this person or that person is not there, sick, pregnant, unavailable, quit or whatever. This has happened EVERY TIME for the last several appointments over 2 years now. I'm tired of the last minute cancellation. I have a business to run so last minute changes are not easy for me at all, but yet I show up for every appointment on time on the day scheduled, or call well in advance for rescheduling, but apparently the same courtesy is not shown to me. I understand a few times, but EVERY TIME no fail I get the last minute call just like I did today to cancel my appointment tomorrow. I love you Dr Fiddler and Max is awesome too, but your admin staff is disorganized and inconsiderate. I also don't care about staffing problems because we ALL have them in our businesses at any given time, but yet we all manage to still able to keep our promises and appointments to clients. I do it everyday at my business because I respect my client's time and want their business. The habitual cancelling and rescheduling of my appointments over the last 2 years tells me that no one here cares about MY time and schedule (nor the fact that I've given you my business and referrals for years too). I'm done with it. Fortunately, there is a dentist on every corner here so I'm sure it won't be hard to find a new dental office that actually respects my time and is committed to my care or at least pretends to on the phone! Absurd! I will miss you Dr Fiddler and Max, but I will not miss your terrible admin staff. You may want to consider fixing these critical issues before you lose more patients over it. Buh-bye

Probably the best dentist in naples. I have had 2 crowns done here by Dr Fiddler. The guy is a gem. Always talks about what's going on, and what his next steps are He takes his time and knows the profession. The staff is great too.
Dr. Fidler is thorough and fair, lets you know what you need for your health and doesn’t try to get you to do unnecessary costly procedures. Kevin does a great job as is very personable!
All the staff from the front desk to the Tech that took care of me and the Dr., We're all very professional! For me this visit was unlike any other dentist visits. The Dr. Made me feel comfortable by 1st introducing himself. Then he explained everything to me thouroghly and was straight forward with me about his suggestions for my care plan. My first time at this office was very good. My new dentist was pain free and explained everything well. My deep cleaning was a little ruff,but my hygienist was excellent. The numbness has worn off and my smile looks great

I started as a new patient today and my overall experience was pleasant and painless.
I realized that this visit was the first time I was shown how to floss properly with precise steps to follow (I grew up going to the dentist 2+ times a year, and was never told about this...)

Going to dentist has never been a great experience for me so I just didn’t go for a couple years. Because of that, I recently had a couple incidents which were probably more of an emergency forcing me to find a dentist and go. Although it’s never fun going they made me comfortable and the process as smooth as possible. They have not been the easiest to get a hold of but no Drs office is this time of year here in SWFL. I am so far very happy with the results and would recommend for sure! Not happy this happened but happy I came across this office!
Dr. Fidler and his staff are always excellent. They have provided the best dental service I have ever received in my life. I am 50 and have had some awful experiences at other dental offices but NEVER at Great Expressions. I have already recommended Dr. Fidlers office to all my friends, family and co workers. If you decide to visit this office I promise you will not be disappointed. They are definitely the very best at what they do.

We were very disappointed with the experience at this dentist. They insisted on taking a panoply of X-rays, although we had provided X- rays from our NJ dentist taken less than six months ago. They refused to do a cleaning unless another visit was scheduled at which point they would need to do a “deep cleaning” at a higher cost than a regular cleaning. We have never heard of a distinction being made about the type of cleaning that was to be provided and a difference in price. Nor have we ever been advised that two visits were needed before a cleaning could be done. When we decided to switch back to our NJ dentist, we had to make several requests and encountered difficulties that we believe were unwarranted, just to get our records.

I really usually don't enjoy going to the Dentist! However I would Highly recommend this Dentist. He was very easy to speak with...discussing my dental needs...what he was going to do in my mouth. Best office I have ever when too the staff the doctor all off them are fantastic as far as I’m concerned, I will never go to another dental office, but there’s again just phenomenal and every aspect I am 72 and was never a fan of any dental office this office and the staff has chanced that best in Florida best anywere

Dr. Fidler at Great Expressions Dental is one of the best, kindest and most compassionate dentist that I have met so far in Naples, Fl. He always says “ I put myself in your place and this is what I would want if I were sitting in that chair “. He cares about your pain and comfort threshold. He went right to fixing my main problem without all the fancy tests and “you need this this and this done”. When my bridge work is completed I will continue to place my confidence in him and his knowledgeable staff for my other dental needs which are many. Lol
Fantastic staff at Great Expressions - both Dr. Fidler and Melissa are excellent to work with. I had a very special case (a dental anomaly known as resorption) and the procedure and cost was the same at three different places I 'interviewed' but the friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to answer all of my questions really made a difference for me. Dr. Fidler's chairside manner is excellent and even though I had a lot of work done in one day I left feeling good. Another company I stopped at for their opinion treated me like a number and not a person and asked me three times what I thought we should do to fix this problem before they looked in my mouth - I'm not the professional here! Geez! Dr. Fidler was very gentle and patient and I look forward to finishing the rest of the procedure with him and Melissa. Great experience!
Friendly and competent staff. Dr. Fidler takes his time with patients and takes the fear out of dental appointments. Haven’t been to a dentist in a long time so had my hesitations. So far I’m impressed with their care and professionalism.
I had to take a long lunch break from work to visit. Did some quick paperwork being a new patient, and went in for x-rays and check up right after. Staff is very pleasant, professional, and timely! Wasn’t kept waiting. Big plus for me.
Provided an explanation of everything they were doing and went over a thorough treatment plan so I could match to my schedule.

Doc Fidler is simply the best. Period. I have an intact crown in my mouth that he placed 18 years ago on a tooth another dentist told be couldn't be crowned and needed to be extracted. Doc is a great guy and more importantly, proficient at his craft. And the staff, as well, Robin one of his dental assistants and Yuliet one of his hygienists, fantastic! Friendly, capable and always pleasant!
The doctor is the best in town but the ladies at the front desk the manager named Miriam ileascas very rude extremely rude they treated me liked. Was a criminal both of them and is not the first time one time I called sick and one of them told me that o was lying and at that moment I have Covid 19 very disrespectful both of them
Dr. Fidler has remained open and available to his patients throughout the pandemic. This can not have been easy. These are great people providing professional service.
