The staff at the office was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. De Lucia took a lot of time explaining what she saw and what needed to be done. It was my first visit to this office. I felt very comfortable with her .she took her time and listened to my concerns. She didn’t stop until she and I were happy with the outcome.

It took me 12 years in Ocala to find a dentist that was able to fix the tooth I had a problem with. They said it couldn't be done but Barbara DeLuca was able to take care of this situation. She was very gentle did not hurt me at all and explained each step of the way what she was doing. I highly recommend this dentist not only to anyone who needs a new dentist but to anyone like me who has always been terrified of dentist and needles. The office staff is also excellent and makes you feel welcome.

I’ve only been there once, so far, but I believe it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made recently. Dr DeLucia came up with a solution to a problem I’ve had for years and I’m truly looking forward to going back for her to fix me up. Stay tuned. I started seeing Dentist DeLucia after reading positive reviews of her on the FB page for On Top of the World. She is very professional and is an excellent dentist. Although I had to have shots (hate shots, but who doesn’t?) for a procedure that was being done, she was gentle. Her staff were also friendly and efficient. I was pleased with my overall experience. It wasn’t a busy office which I also liked. Clean, quiet and appealing. I set up my appointment and was seen very quickly after making it. No long wait. Give her a try. I believe it will be a favorable experience, similar to my own.

Recently I had two front crowns done by Dr. DeLucia. I am rid of the fear of dentists I once had. She was amazing. And her staff is wonderful too. Very professional but yet personable. Knows how insurance works and assured me her office will not provide service not covered without letting me know so it's my choice to have the work done. I have a long term plan for work covered by my plan. An honest dentist is hard to find but I found mine.

Great introduction to a very professional and experienced Dentist and staff. Made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I had not seen a dentist for over a year and expected a lecture and even a scolding. But, all I got was a reasonable analysis of my dental condition, an acceptable financial plan to improve my condition and a great staff.

Dr Barbara Delucia is very professional, friendly, and caring. The office staff is very efficient, and you don't have to wait months to get an appointment. Dr Delucia is extremely knowledgeable, and she doesn’t recommend what you don’t need. She works with your dental insurance plan and avoids unnecessary costs /procedures. If you are in search of a private practice and not a corporate owned dental office this is your dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Barbara DeLucia.

Dr DeLucia is both knowledgeable and professional. Her office is warm and inviting. Her staff is very friendly and delightful. Dr DeLucia stopped my cleaning to question my level of pain early on. I have very sensitive gums that can make cleanings feel more like torture. Due to my pain level she then altered her style to do a very light completion of the cleaning. I have a return visit scheduled for a full cleaning complete with numbing medication. Within one day of my visit I have already recommended a friend. Kudos to Dr DeLucia and her dedicated staff. ~ UPDATE I switched dentists a year ago because my new dentist uses modern equipment and has more affordable pricing. Paying 750 for novacaine was a bit extreme for me. I love the newer equipment that equates to quick pain free dentistry for me.

Dr. Delucia is the most painful dentist I have ever been too. Tried to stay with her as I am new to the area thinking maybe it was me as I had the same dentists office out of state for 25 years. Needed multiple appointments to have crowns done. Does not explain procedures and what she is doing. Always waiting in office for quite a while even though I arrive on time for my scheduled appointment. Requires payment before work is completed and in my case she is a Delta Dental subscriber and has not refunded my overpayment. Will not return my calls or messages even though they acknowledged the small $25 refund they owe me.

This feels like home. My northern dentist was an educated artist. His shoes are big to fill. Dr. Delicia and her staff is an awesome group. What I enjoy the most about Dr. Delucia is she's very personable and the time, concern and care she has for each one of her patients. I have never met a dentist who actually does all the dentistry work from fillings or crowns, to the cleaning of your teeth. Dr. DeLuca explained everything to me in simple terms and the reason it needed to be done. I felt very comfortable asking her questions. She actually showed me my x-rays and went over them with me in detail. She did not rush me into anything and gave me time to think things through. I would highly recommend her.

I am delighted she provided me with the name of a new Crest Toothpaste sample to try that suits me best. Crest Pro Health protects 100 % ! I have been anticipating and hoping for a toothpaste like that for many moons. Use of her items provided in her "goodie bag" has enabled me to be cavity free for 6 months and longer!!

My first time seeing Dr. DeLucia I told her of a long term issue that I had, spanning two dentists and two TMJ specialists, and more than a dozen years. After her exam she looked me in the eye and said “if you trust me, I can fix this”. Several appointments and discussions on how to fix the world (they were one sided for obvious reasons) and I have a new mouth. I think it may take a couple more appointments for her to fix the world. Anyway thanks Dr Delucia, you are the best!

Most brutal cleaning and exam I have ever had!!, Four times I had to stop the dentist because she was leaning over to the computer while jamming the exam mirror up between my gum and lips right on the pressure point. Numerous times I had to stop her so she could suction out the excess water choking me. If your into S&M and water boarding this office is for you. I did loved the Golden Girls motief so 90s. Didn't even give me a fluoride treatment after the cleaning. A very expensive $479.00 lesson, good thing I learn fast.

This was my second visit to Dr Delucia. I had an appt for 6 month cleaning. I was called by the office the day before yo see if I could come in earlier. I adjusted my work schedule and showed up 10 minutes early. I was then informed after I arrived that they were running a bit behind and would be with me shortly. Shortly did not happen. 45 minutes past my new appt time, I was finally called back. I was informed that someone went home with a headache and they were short handed. I feel that a simple courtesy call would have been appropriate since I had been called to come in earlier and ended up back at my original time. I work for a living and had to take the extra time off. After I got in the chair, the doctor went straight to my cleaning. I had been told that she would do an exam, which I believe to be overkill if it is done more than once a year. I waited to see if the exam would take place, but it never did. When I went to pay, I was charged $55 for an exam. I told the girl that it never happened. She told me that the doctor does it on every patient and why would I be any different. I reassured her that it never took place. She then told me that the doctor does it while she is working because she is looking at the teeth the whole time. I am 58 years old, have been in dentistry, and I go to the dentist 2 to 3 times a year for cleanings. I know when someone is conducting an exam! There was NO exam and this is a case of fleecing patients. I paid, but will not be going back to a dentist who feels the need to not only charge for an exam more than once a year, but that does not actually DO the exam being charged for.

This dentist put in a 4 tooth front top teeth bridge for me. The bridge failed twice within 2 years because she over reduced both anchor teeth, not to mention the color was several shades too white. (Chicklets) She offered in writing to do a new 6 tooth bridge at her costs, but between the poor workmanship and her odd behavior (she said she was going through some things) I had no confidence in her. My new dentist confirmed the over reductions on the anchor teeth and decay found in the anchor tooth she had to put pins in when it broke the first time. He fixed me up with a beautiful 6 tooth bridge! Since Aetna my insurance company will only pay for bridges every 5 years we had to pay out of pocket. A complaint has been filed with Aetna insurance against Dr Delucia and I am considering small claims court to recoup the out of pocket expenses for the new 6 tooth bridge. Please beware of this dentist! J. Greig
