My daughter's first visit after searching for several dentists in our area of Citrus county who either didn't take my insurance or wouldn't see a 16 year old. This was our third opinion. We did have to wait quite a bit longer than I expected, but it was well worth it. The dentist and his assistant were very nice, compassionate, understanding, extremely helpful, and treated my daughter so good. The dentist really handled talking to my daughter with such respect and empathy. It made both of us feel so much better for the situation going on with her teeth. My daughter said she feels like she can trust this dentist, which is wonderful to hear after what we have been through prior. Thank you all very much and we look forward to getting her started to a better oral health and hygiene future after the braces. The front desk lady was very thorough with the dental treatment plan and explained it well. We appreciate you all.

I've been with this practice for several years. I just had my teeth cleaned by Amber. She provided excellent care and I suggest Amber to anyone who may have a bit of "dental anxiety". I do not have insurance and I found the fees (for the entire time I've been a patient) very reasonable. I would highly recommend!!!

I've been going here for the last couple of years. They are professional and friendly. Shelley in the office was very helpful in laying out my plan for dental work. Dr. Kokkas and Heidi make an excellent team. Their dental hygienist is very caring and calming. It's the first practice I have been to where I am not nervous about getting dental work done.

10/10 Exceptional care all around. Had an amazing experience with them from beginning to end and I highly recommend them. They are very professional. As soon as you walk in Nahir at the front desk helps you with any paperwork, questions or sheduling needs. She is very sweet and beyond efficient. My first appointment was a consultation with x-rays included and after that is finished the doctor goes over everything to determine what type of cleaning you need or if you have any cavities etc. For my consultation Heidee did my scans and x-rays. She was amazing and went through explaining everything as she did it. I really appreciated that. Then Dr. Kokkas came in to look over everything in detail and breaks down your current overall oral health . He was very nice and extremely knowledgeable. I noticed they don't try to push anything additional on to you. That is pretty amazing and you hardly ever see that in this field. Before I left I was checked out with Shelly who is the office manager. She goes over everything the doctor discussed. For me it was for my cleaning. She goes over the prices and gives the cost of exactly what you will have to pay. They even give you a print out. Their prices are affordable. My next appointment was for my cleaning with Desriee. This woman has the sofest touch. I had zero discomfort which is rare for me. She took her time and gave me the best cleaning of my life. I was beyond happy with the results. They do exceptional work and because everyone who works there is so pleasant it made the experience a thousand times better.

Great experience overall! A neighbor of my moms recommended True Care Dental.
First time patient and extremely overdue with my dental needs (and there are many issues). Shelly and Dr. Kokkas were very personable and helpful in guiding me with what steps I need to take! Dr. Kokkas explained to me that my dental issues are fixable with a few root canals, one tooth extraction, cleaning and some crowns and potentially implants. (Yikes) He was very easy going and reassuring.
