I’ve been coming here for about two years now, and feel like I have finally found a dentist I want to stick with, long-term, after a couple of bad experiences with prior dentists. The front desk staff are kind and helpful. Making appointments is easy. And, the one time they had to unexpectedly cancel one of my appointments, they quickly got me rescheduled for the next week. I’ve never had to wait more than a couple minutes after my appointment time to be seen. The doctor (I always forget her name) and all of the hygienists are wonderful. My experiences have been comfortable, and I’ve been impressed with how this practice seems to have all of the latest technologies in dental care. Every time I come, they seem to have a new gadget or detail in the patient experience that makes it even better.

Dr. Ngo and staff are awesome. After seeing several dentists, I finally found Modern Dental Care on Armenia. Tampa Fl. I have been extremely happy in all areas that they do. So caring, attentive, listens, and has patient’s best interest for them. Very caring staff and a happy place to visit. I recommend highly. Came in for my first visit. Candie was very kind and efficient getting me checked in at the front desk and helping me get the appointment made when I called to book it. She was very helpful going over my treatment plan with me Desi was wonderful during the X rays and imaging. Very sweet lady. Very patient during the process. Quick and smooth no long wait time. Everything went well, Disaree kept me breathing through the whole extractions. Dr. No has small hands and a gentle touch, that's a plus. Sandy explained the costs and what the insurance should pay, in laymen terms. Overall it wasn't at all unpleasant, there a great team and can't wait to get my new partial! Sorry CANDY not Sandy.

Where to begin , I absolutely love my first visit at this office. Speaking with Candy and the entire staff has been nothing less than the most wonderful experience. The staff was caring , compassionate and really understood my dental plan needs. The environment is neat , clean and very inviting. I personally got to speak to Dr. Noy and she was so pleasant to connect with even on a personal level. Going to the Dentist isn't always fun , however coming here was a very rewarding experience , including the dental assistance who has such incredible good energy . At Modern Dental Care you will feel like family. All the dentists, techs and office managers are friendly and always make sure you fully understand what is in store for you when you’re at the dentist. All the dentists are gentle and up-to-date with all new treatments. I have always felt Modern Dental Care has been honest about the conditions of my teeth and gums. They are always giving advice as to what to do to improve how to care for the teeth and gums. I’ve been able to get appointments in a decent amount of time as well. I recommend Modern Dental Care. I’m glad they are part of my dental care team.

I was extremely satisfied with the entire process! From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. The office staff is amazing, Candy answered all of my questions and thoroughly went over my needed treatments as well as my financial obligation. My favorite part is how much one on one time Dr. Gilbert spent with me going over my care plan. I have never gone to a dentist office where I spent that much time with the dentist. Amazing!! The hygienist, Rachel was extremely nice and again answered all of my questions concerning my treatment for cleanings, and she was gentle while examining my mouth. This will definitely be my new dental home!! Look no further, I promise you will be extremely satisfied and trust me when I say that their prices are very reasonable!!

This place and the wonderful dentists and assistants/professionals have been lifesavers for me. They do amazing work. The other dentists I’ve seen in illinois and California have seen the crowns they’ve done and have said they’re of the best restorations they’ve seen. I’m so grateful to have found this office. I wanted to share my share my experience at Modern Dental because it has been a pleasure to be there. everyone is very friendly and professional. Dr Campbell is amazing and takes the time to make sure she gets it right, what ever she is doing. Candie at the front desk makes sure I know exactly what to expect on my next visit and all that will be accomplished. As you might suspect I had some major work done and I am very pleased with the results. All the equipment seems up to date well maintained and clean. Very important for me. thank you all.

Dr. Campbell and her staff are both friendly and professional. They worked with me to make the cost affordable within my budget. I had 19 extractions done by Dr Patel in less than two hours and virtually pain-free. They have seen me 3 times in the 10 days since to adjust the temporary dentures and check on the healing process. They have been quick to set these appointments and very willing to work around my schedule. They have been very quick to respond to my needs and I have and will continue to recommend their services. ************************************************************** 7 AUG 2014 ************************************************************** Dr Campbell, her staff and associates are all very professional, caring and talented. My experience has been great. From my first phone call to Today, they have worked with me to fit both my schedule and my budget. I had 19 extractions done late last year, the procedure went quickly and with a great deal LESS pain than I expected. I had several relines on my temporary dentures as I healed, then the impression and fitting appointments. I was always seen on time, and throughout my recovery, Dr. Campbell and staff have been very responsive to my needs. My smile looks better than it ever has and I was able to tear up a T-bone steak last Sunday. I highly recommend you give Dr. Campbell a chance to make your life better!!!

I highly recommend Modern Dental Care. Dr. Campbell is magnificent at performing gentle, loving dental care. You do not feel her injections. I have had 7yrs of wonderful dental experiences at this office. My last being a crown placement. Thanks Mayra for assisting so well. I especially appreciate how the entire staff takes the time to explain each procedure prior to beginning what I am having done. I’ve visited a number of dentist in Tampa since moving here a little over 10 years ago. A recommendation is what brought me to Modern Dental Care five years ago, the fantastic patient care & service providers keeps me loyal to Modern Dental Care. From the moment you walk in, the office manager (Candy) will insure you feel welcome, you know you are in good hands. Not only that, but I don’t believe there exist an insurance problem that she can’t solve. No, REALLY. Next, Modern Dental Care has several dental hygienists, I can only discuss my experience, but make no mistake you will only find the best here. My dental hygienist is Angie, what can I say……Angie is remarkable. Professionalism and caring are clearly her top priorities. Her tone is comforting and technically simplistic as she works. No surprises, she explains step by step her process. Her optimism and humor are so infectious, you almost don’t mind getting stuck with a two-inch needle. Then, the doctors. Professional, courteous, gentle but firm and (a big word for me to use) ……Credible. Dr. Campbell is credible. I’m very Happy to say she is my Dentist. I trust her with my health and my life. I am confident you will find the same high level of care and service as I have found here.

I have been looking for a dentist office for all my life that is as good as Modern Dental. The moment you come in, the staff is super awesome ( I love Miss Candy) they answer all your questions and concerns. They will sit with you and go over different options ( especially if you are like me and had put it off for so long). The 2 dentist there are amazing. I mean amazing!! They are so gentle and caring and good at what they do. I almost fell asleep because DR. Gilbert is so gentle. I need a lot of dental work as I had put if off since I had horrible experiences in the past. I really appreciate how nice and caring they are here. I will keep returning as long as Dr. Gilbert and Dr. Campbell are around. Everyone in this office is amazing. I am so glad I found them. Once you go. You will see what I mean. Amazing office!!!!!

I am so fortunate to have found Dr Campbell! I have been looking for a really good dentist for a while to take care of some concerns I had over the years. Ive been to some where you feel like you're just a number but Modern Dental is different!!! Dr Campbell and her entire staff take such good care of me and really do care!! I was referred from a friend of mine to Dr Campbell and I now have made her my go to for anything dental!!! She really takes the time to hear you and understand your concerns and addresses them wonderfully and is very detail oriented and focused on helping you achieve great dental hygiene as well as I personally am in the process of cosmetically beautifying my smile and she pays close attention to my concerns in that as well. Its so nice to have someone I trust completely because details are what its all about to me! I actually love going there because they treat you like you're one of their family =) Definitely recommended!!

I have a great fear of dentist and avoid them as much as possible, but I am extremely impressed with this dental office, both the dentists, and all the rest of the staff. I recently had some major dental work done and even though it was an ordeal for me they office was amazing and did great work. I highly recommend this dental office to anyone and everyone. **Updated from over a year ago** Yesterday I called because I had a filling fall out over the weekend. Candy got me in today. They did xrays and determined I needed a new filling. I waited just a few minutes since I was a workin, then Dr. Ngo came in and fixed me up! Everyone in the office is always so professional and kind. Still the best!! ************************************* I found Modern Dental Care on a list of providers as one of very few who were not "large group" dental providers on my DHMO plan. The reviews about Modern Dental Care online were phenomenal. From before I had an appointment, the staff at Modern Dental Care have gone above and beyond. They assisted me in getting them added as my PCD and this was not part of their responsibility, but they happily helped me. They got me in quickly, knowing I was having some issues. The pre appointment paperwork was easily done from a text, on my phone. I had zero wait time for my appointment. The hygienist was polite and gentle during all the xrays and photos. Dr. Gilbert spent a lot of time going through everything about my teeth and gums, and addressing each concern with multiple options. They came up with a detailed plan of care, always being mindful that everything was my decision as far as when and how to proceed. Candy, who works in the front office, is awesome. She communicates great and came in to go over the detailed treatment plan. Everyone treated me with respect and took their time with me, not rushing me at all. The dental chair is a massaging chair, too! I am so happy I found Modern Dental Care!

I have been to this office dozens of times in the last two years as Dr. Campbell did my Invisalign. Every single time I was in and out quickly, the staff was extremely kind and friendly, and Dr. Campbell herself was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about me care. I also needed fillings and my wisdom teeth removed and everything was so easy. I can't recommend this office and Dr. Campbell enough. And my teeth are now straight, white, and perfectly healthy!

Felt completely comfortable walking into this office. The staff knows all of there patients very well. The pricing is very reasonable and fair compared to other dental places. I really love coming to this place for my dental needs. Staff is very helpful and respectful starring with the front office person to the Doctor, and the office is very clean. They make sure you are feeling comfortable while you been seen and even while you in the waiting room. I will definitely recommend everyone to come visit them and get your check ups with them, I guarantee you will come back. I honestly don't like dentists visits at all but from now on, Modern Dental will be my only dentist office. If I move from Florida, I will come back just for my appointments because I am not planning on changing dentist ever again! Love this office and staff are the greatest!

Amazing dental office with top notch staff. I found modern dental care after looking online at places that cover my insurance. I was nervous to go after being so long that I had been. That fear was taken the minute I walked in was greet, sat down in the chair & examined. Since then I have been probably about 7 vists or more every time I feel more countable. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask one single question to any of the women there. Dr.gno did work on me & she is hands down the best. So sweet and gentle. Denise, of her her assistants is 10/10. Please don’t give me another person 🤣 she is extremely knowledgeable & kind. Candy at the front answers immediately & goes above and beyond to make you feel special and helped. I've gone to Modern Dental Care for about 5 years. Both Dr. Campbell and Dr. Gilbert have worked on my teeth while I've been going there. Starting out my teeth were a mess - both gum and tooth pain. I hadn't been to a dentist in years and I'd let things get out of hand. No judgement on their part - just got me the care I needed. It's amazing how a mouth not in pain can change your life. I really appreciate all they've done for me over the years and would highly recommend them to anyone. Oh, and obligatory shout out to Candy in the office as she's made sure I knew exactly what I was paying and when, working on scheduling throughout the process. Really does a great job and deserves recognition.

First the front desk staff make this office truly a great experience. As for the care - I left Jackson dental after a not so positive scheduling Experience. I was affirmed further when Dr Ngo caught resorption on my xray and sent me to a specialist to confirm (I did in fact have resorption - a process of my busy rejecting my tooth from previous trauma. Likely from orthodontic work) I requested x-rays from my past records to find that this resorption has been there since at least 2014. Nearly 10 years of x-rays and not once was it brought to my attention by my previous dentist. While it doesn’t change my outcome of loosing my tooth in the future, it’s reassuring that Dr Ngo caught this on first look at my x-rays. Additionally, she placed a crown for me in place of a “on-lay” from my previous Dr. the procedure was fairly simple given the circumstances. Overall I’m really happy and wish I had changed dentists sooner.

I cant say enough about how awesome Dr. Gilbert is. I did not want to write a review at first because I was afraid she would get too busy and not have time to get me in 😁 Dr. Gilbert has great skill and a wonderful "Chairside" Manner. I cant imagine letting any other dentist work on me beside her. Candy who runs the office is very kind and efficient. She is very upfront and clearly explains all billing and charges. I am a snowbird and on purposely wait til I am in Florida to go here for my cleanings and fillings.

I had a huge fear about going to the dentist which prevented me from going for over 10 years. I finally got the courage to go to Modern Dental. I was so scared, but from the moment I walked in the office I felt at ease. Candy welcomes you with a huge smile and caring words. The whole staff made me feel 100% comfortable and not so scared anymore. And Dr.Mitra is was so gentle and understanding of my fear and she help me overcome it along with her staff. I no longer have a fear and I go regularly. Modern Dental is the best and I will be a patient for life. Anyone that has a fear of the dentist should definitely give Modern Dental a try. I can honestly say that I have never referred more patients to another healthcare provider than Dr. Mitra Campbell. Including, friends, family and patients of my own. As a healthcare provider, I recognize a professional when I see one. Dr. Campbell and her staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Her office is clean and comfortable and I was taken right on time. She provided a thorough exam and was efficient with her time. Very few people enjoy visiting the dentist, but she certainly set a whole new standard. Take my word for it…... She's fantastic!

DO NOT GO HERE FOR DENTURES!!!!! Absolute, extreme frustration and disappointment. After 16 months of trying Dr. Campbell still could not get my dentures to fit right. There were so many problems I was amazed. She glued my bottom denture to my gum and I spent 3 days desperately trying to get it to release from the pins, finally using a plastic chisel and hammer, to get it out. The bottom denture was so big, pressing on the nerves at the back of my mouth, that I ended up with Bell's Palsy symptoms, paralyzing my face (25K in emergency room bills). The last straw was when I picked them up, after the umpteenth time to the lab to fix numerous issues, I got the top dentures back, chipped, scarred, crooked and broken. I immediately sent pictures and a description of the problem and never heard back from them. My bite is off, I am in constant pain and they are rough and sharp in places. 16 months!!! 9K and they are horrible! Yes, I am looking at all my options but will never go back there and absolutely never recommend Dr. Mitra Campbell again to anyone. I am furious with the lack of ethics shown by this office and feel it my responsibility to share my experience, in the hope that no one else gets put through the same situation.

I have never been so blatantly disrespected as I was at Modern Dental Care. One of the doctors was extremely rude when I asked if I could forego x-rays and just get a cleaning, due to cost. She told me that she could not perform a cleaning without x-rays, making fun of the fact that I would even ask, and asked how I was planning on paying for the appointment if I couldn't afford x-rays. Had she been professional and explained the situation, I would have gotten x-rays. Instead, she demeaned me, and insulted me, and disrespected me. This was the most unprofessional dentist's office I have ever been to; I was not treated as a customer, but as an inferior. There are plenty of other nice, respectful dentists in Tampa, go to them. But not to Modern Dental Care.

My experience at modern dental was a pleasant change from other dental offices i have visited .The friendly staff was very helpful in addressing my needs. the facility was very clean and professional. I would recommend modern dental care for anyone wanting a great smile like mine .

Everything was good except when i needed to get extractions done on two of my teeth, I was scheduled to receive a call back from the doctor and never did. I call in to the office to have some one call me back, once I received the call all i get is, " Sorry the doctor is on vacation you will have t wait another week." No one had the courtesy to inform me of the current situation. Now i have to call around to find a doctor who will extract my teeth today.

Needed an emergency visit today, first time neededing a dentist in the tampa area. Choose this office per all the positve reviews online, and i do in fact have to agree with the reviews. The were able to get me in same day and were compassionate about my situation. Once they carry my insurance will definitely be going back for all my dental work

Modern Dental Care have an amazeing staff and Great DMD on site (Dr.Mitra Campbell) They do a Great job in working with a budget, Explaining Procedures, and overall Assuring you feel 100% comfortable threw out the whole process. I have even Recommended my Husband to them and would Definitely Recommend Friends, Family or even a First Timer.

Dr. Campbell and her staff have done an amazing job of taking care of me and my whole family. I have a friend who did Invisalign by another Doctor and it didn't turn out very well, so when I started Invisalign treatment with Dr. Campbell I was a little nervous. The results were amazing, there's a reason she is a preferred provider of Invisalign! Also, my dad came to see Dr. Campbell for implants and dentures. He now has eight implants with dentures, and most importantly he has his appetite back since he can now chew normal again. We couldn't be happier with the level of care that Dr. Campbell and her staff have provided!

have not had the best dentist experience in the past and was scared to go again. was seen by dr gilbert and staff! they were amazing! litterally felt no pain when getting 3 fillings. they have really changed my out look on going to the dentist as a traumatizing event. we have a lot more work to do on my teeth but i can say im not afraid of going to them and they could not have been more helpful. also made sure i was numb and had no pain, i am so thankful to them! best dentistry by far. def a place to go if your scared of the dentist like i was! ^.^

This is a shady unsanitary dentist office to say the least. When I was receiving x-rays the assistant dropped the plastic x-ray piece and then went to put it in my mouth with out replacing it or sanitizing it. Then she did not know how to work the equipment. I thought it was a bad joke. It was more like a circus. I spoke to someone else at the office about my concerns and they exclaimed it was only because they were busy. I don't care how much they charge if they do a good job. They did horrible job. I would not go back or recommend it to anyone.

Shady place, stay away. I paid $69 for them to get an appointment to sell me on a sub-prime credit card. They would not quote a price over for one of the most routine procedures in dentistry. I had to have my wisdom teeth removed, and they led me to believe that it would be $79 per tooth. I got there and realized that the place practices predatory lending, gives out narcotic prescriptions prior to treatment and tries to lock you into a belief; not a contract, that you owe big $ for services not yet rendered. It's likely different for everyone, however the people charged me $3000, at an APR of 15%, which translates to $4200 or $70 for 60 months.

They canceled my scheduled appointment just a day before and never called back to give me a new appointment. When I called them they kept flip flopping between days and contradicting the day for a new appointment. I’m disappointed these people don’t give their customers any value. Don’t waste your time or money here. Just look at the bad reviews.

I had some communication issues with them in the past, but when they realized it, they reached to me and we worked those differences out. Although I didn't get the procedure that I needed it, they explained to me the reason as to why it couldn't be done and gave me my money back, and I'm grateful for that.
