I’ve had bonding on my front tooth since I was 12 and every where I’ve went they have told me they cannot match the color to my existing tooth. I went in today for a consultation about matching the coloring and they were able to schedule me in 3 hours later! I am so thrilled with the results and how fast they were able to get this done. Love this practice and the ENTIRE staff. They really feel like family and I find myself surprised to be excited to visit my dentist office!! From the front desk, standard cleanings, invisalign procedures, all the way through checkout, every expectation is exceeded. I am always very comfortable and very appreciative of the advice that Melanie and Dr. Michael suggest for me. I was also hesitant to proceed with invisalign at first, but now I am beyond grateful and ecstatic with the results. At the end of my visits, I usually end up bugging everyone at the reception desk for a few extra minutes and talking Julie's wonderful head off because I love catching up with everyone every chance I get! EVERYBODY THAT WORKS THERE IS SO SWEET! I was supposed to get a tooth pulled from a failed root canal retreat weeks ago but my oral surgeon would not let me get it done because I found out I was pregnant 4 days before the appointment. Fast forward to a few weeks later, I had a blood draw done that showed I had significant signs of infection in my body. Naturally I freaked out and started to look for a new dentist. That’s when my friend recommended Dr. Mick. I called their office on a Friday, explained the situation, and they squeezed me in on Monday to have a consultation and get the tooth pulled. Everyone was wonderful! The girls at the front desk went above and beyond to help me get in on Monday, the dental hygienist, Rachel, was the absolute sweetest, and Dr. Mick made me as comfortable as possible the whole time. I can’t recommend them enough! I’ve had some really horrible experiences with Dentists in the past and I can honestly say with complete confidence that Dr. Mick cares.

Absolutely phenomenal. I have been going to Dr. Diez for almost 20 years! He does an amazing job with the different procedures that I have needed. All pain free! I have never felt any discomfort. He is conscientious and asks to make sure that I was not feeling any pain. He walks you through each step that he is doing, encourages me to ask questions. Dr. Diez is knowledgeable, has superb communication, and he is an exceptionally skilled Doctor. His office also does routine teeth cleanings. I book with the same hygienist. She is wonderful, thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. Scheduling is easy. 10/10 highly recommend! I moved for away for a few years and tried another dental office close to me (3 years). That office did not compare to Dr. Diez. Dr. Diez’s office is clean, the staff are very polite and professional, the hygienist is wonderful, and Dr. Diez is phenomenal. Once I moved back to the area I was grateful to be seeing Dr. Diez and his team again. Once you experience the atmosphere and relaxation of Dr. Diez’s team you will not want to see another Dentist.

I have been coming to this Dentist for quite a long time. Every time I come in they already know who I am and always happy to see me. I am not just another patient to them. Dr Diaz takes the time to listen to my concerns and give me all my options so I can be the one to make the decision on what best works for me. I have been to other dentist that do not listen and don’t really care or take the time to explain things like Dr. Diez does. This why I keep coming to them. The ideal dental experience. From my first phonecall, through til the end of care, this office was nothing but kind, professional, and caring. Clean, modern facilities with state of the art equipment and techniques, I was blown away by the care I received. My greatest worry heading in was my anxiety and low pain threshold. I was literally shaking while filling out the paperwork on my first visit. The entire staff did a phenomenal job of putting me at ease and guiding me through each step of the process. I have to say the staff here from the first phone call to walking in to leaving was the most friendly that I’ve ever dealt with. Being military family I’ve gotten the chance to experience many dental offices all over and have gained severe dental anxiety. This office was not in network with my dental insurance but I took a chance and paid a little more and I would do it again because Dr Randall Diez and his staff made getting two crowns done in one day easier and explained things that helped me with my anxiety. They were understanding and very professional. I definitely would recommend anyone to go here if you have anxiety! Because I’ve never felt more come at a dentist office. It means a lot when the professionals take the time to explain the procedures to you versus just jumping right in and doing it.

I had a very disappointing experience with General and Cosmetic Dentistry of Tampa, specifically with Dr. Randall Diez and Dr. Michael Diez. I received 6 veneers, and within just one year, 3 of them have already broken off and I am now with a different dentist who said there is structural damage to the teeth affected. This level of durability is unacceptable and reflects poor quality of care and potential incompetence. I expected a much higher standard of service and longevity for such a significant investment. I would strongly advise caution before choosing this practice. Broken veneer after broken veneer... Terrible experience

Just wanted to update my review to this year. I have gone to Dr. Randall Diez now for 22 years and as my previous review below says. He is the absolute best dentist. But now want to review his son Dr. Michael Diez. I just had him do a crown and was a little nervous because I only trust his father but he was amazing. He did my whole crown in one appointment and it is absolutely perfect. I have had no sensitivity with it and the bite is perfect! This Father, son team are the best dentists u could possibly have. They are amazing at what they do! I feel so blessed to have not only Dr. Randall Diez as my dentist but now his son following in his foot steps. They are both have a wonderful bed side manner, very caring but they also are just excellent dentist in every way, always on the cutting edge!! Now by previous review....Just want to share that Dr. Diez is an amazing dentist. My family has been going to his office for 18 years. We have only had Great experiences. Dr. Diez has never hurt us. He is very patient and compassionate and he does amazing work. I had to have a cap placed on my front tooth because of an injury and was very worried how it would look. Dr. Diez matched it perfectly with my other teeth. He is always on the cutting edge of dentistry, always updating his education. He is also very honest and never does anything u don't need. I trust him completely. I also love Pam and all his office staff. And I hear his son is an amazing dentist as well. I give this office a 5 star perfect rating. Wish all my Drs were like him!❤

Since returning to Tampa from living in L.A. for 24 years (where I had my dentist for 20 years!), I have been looking for my forever dentist here in Tampa & I have now found General & Cosmetic Dentistry of Tampa. Dr. Randall Diez is absolutely the best!... he's thorough, very detailed throughout the whole process of each dental procedure, and a very attentive & understanding dentist for any concerns - and he is conservative in his approach. He removed a Maryland bridge on my left side that had come loose & replaced it with a new tooth bridging the teeth with a crown on each side (one of them avoiding a root canal!). I initially questioned my bite but heeded to his expertise where he said it would improve as it settled in - and he was totally right... it feels so much better overall. I recently had more work done on my right side - a crown on top & the removal & replacement of a mercury filling on bottom. My bite feels even better &, overall, my experience with Dr. Diez has been outstanding! They even call after a procedure to see how you're doing. I also want to mention Tiffany as my cleaning hygienist - she is awesome!! I had been going for cleanings 3 times a year which I think I either didn't need to do or was just on that schedule with other dental offices - I'm back to the regular 2x a year and my teeth are doing great!... Tiffany does a spectacular job! I wholly recommend General & Cosmetic Dentistry of Tampa for the best dental care in Tampa - their service is excellent, they care very much for their patients' comfort & even the entire office staff & other assistants are second to none - Claudia, Julie & Dr. Randal Diez's wife are awesome. It is a choice you should consider because you won't be disappointed - this is my Tampa dentist for good!

I highly recommend General and Cosmetic Dentistry of Tampa. I moved to the Tampa area in 2019 and continued to put off finding a good local dentist. I did my research and decided that this dentist was the place for me and my family. I was highly impressed on my first visit! Friendly staff that are efficient and informative. My wife just received a new lower denture after a periodontic event resulted in 5 teeth falling out and 4 others needed to be extracted. Dr Mick and the office staff were amazing in making her comfortable and calm. The work went smoothly, painlessly and the results were amazing. She and I heartily recommend this practice and she will continue to be a regular patient.

Edit after response - Very rude response by owner. You forgot to add you are not in network with most insurances, and only in network with Aetna PPO extend. Good luck going out of business by treating customers like trash. Thank you for blocking me on Facebook from your page just because I left a negative review because I wanted everyone to know how your office staff treats existing customers!! At least google takes reviews seriously. Worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Typically dentist office staff are nicer than doctors, but this office takes the cake. They are only in network with one specific type of dental insurance that is hard to obtain (aenta extend PPO) so good luck paying everything out of network and out of pocket. Office manager is extremely rude and condescending. Office staff used to be friendly but they no longer work here. Any feedback you leave them, they will scream at you and ignore. Their hours are limited so “taking off work” is their solution to making an appointment and no one else will ever cancel their appointment for months so there’s no availability in later time slots they say they have. I tried for over a month to get an afternoon time slot. They are happy to not have your business or money so find somewhere else to go. I found another practice that takes my dental insurance and doesn’t give me such a hard time or try to accommodate my work schedule. The hygienist here is good and nice but told me I needed my wisdom teeth out and referred me to the office’s oral surgeon friend that only comes by once a month and doesn’t take insurance. But she didn’t mention insurance. It’s like the only patients they have here are full of privilege. I tried to ask for outside oral surgeon referrals and they have none because no other doctors are their friends. This is after I got a panorama from the Carrollwood office and had to pay out of pocket for it after. So I was very upset about it and complained but they only gave me a 50% discount and said I owed the rest without any remorse or apology. I looked for another dental practice to go to, which there are plenty of competition in the tampa area that will take insurance. It took a quick google search and 5 minute phone call to book an appointment elsewhere. It is a shame their office staff is ruining their practice for patients. Also, reading the other one star reviews, this office has no problem disclosing personal HIPAA information about patients in their responses and fighting back, so I would encourage others to run away from this practice unless you want a medical office to retaliate against you.

I've gone to Dr. Diez for over a decade! He's kind, cheerful, down to earth, and makes me feel at ease. He provides what he feels are my best options and lets me decide, and I never get the feeling he's trying to sell me something. The hygienists are top-notch! They are sweet, gentle, and great at explaining what they're doing. The front-office staff is friendly, efficient, and they know what they're doing. The office runs on time too, which shows respect for their patients and staff!

Great experience! The staff is awesome. I called the office for a root canal treatment on Friday June 24th and Jessica ( Insurance Coordinator) managed to schedule a same day apt with such a short notice. She is the best, but they all have a great customer service and their priority is the patients. The office is not covered by my Insurance but I rather to pay more knowing I will be satisfied than pay less for something I know I won’t like or it won’t last. I highly recommend this office. From the Doctors to the staff, they are all 5 stars!!! Thank you Jessica once again for helping me and for being so kind and efficient when I needed the most :)

I researched and found Dr Randall Diez on the web. Had my second visit today . I love this practice. He is so nice and attentive. He listens to your concerns and thoughtfully comes up with a treatment plan to help you achieve your desired outcome . So happy I found them ! Highly recommend!! Julie is so responsive and helpful. Claudia in the room is just the sweetest ! Very happy I’m in his care. Great chair side manner !

It's never fun moving and trying to find new doctors, but I hit the jackpot here. The entire staff is friendly and and I have never waited more than 3 minutes past my appointment to be seen. Dr. Singh was professional and I felt like he genuinely wanted to get to know me as a new patient. I love getting my teeth cleaned by Kristen. You can tell she loves what she is doing and has a great personality. I cannot recommend this office enough.

I love this practice! Everyone is so nice and helpful. The hygienist are amazing, my teeth have never been cleaner. Dr. Diez is honest and very informative, best dentist I have ever had. I have never waited more then a couple minutes (if any) past my appointment time to be called back, which is very rare at many medical offices. After YEARS of not going to the dentist because I was mildly afraid of going, I decided it was time. The first dentist I chose was not great, thus I came to see Dr. Diez. My experience at his office was fantastic. Everyone (front office, hygienist, Dr. Diez) was so kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Diez did a great job with the procedure, and he made sure I was comfortable. He took the time to make sure I was fully educated with what was going on inside of my mouth and he made sure to answer any questions I had. I was given a quote before the procedure so I had an idea of how much I’d be spending beforehand. The hygienist (I don’t remember her name :( ) was also fantastic with me. She took an impression as well as did X-rays (both things I struggle with) and she was so patient and kind with me. Last but not least, Jess, who does insurance and billing stuff, was SO incredibly helpful with talking through the cost of things and the intricacies of insurance. She made sure I was fully aware of the cost of future procedures while being possibly the kindest human ever. I left their office with a plan for future dental work, and with a smile on my face!

Dr. Diez has been my family’s dentist for nearly 40 years. Many of my friends go to him as well. Over the years there have been countless visits for checkups, a few cavities, root canals and Invisalign braces for myself and my three sons. Every experience has been pain free and exceeded our expectations. We actually look forward to our dental visits! The doc’s personality, his lovely office and his warm & personable staff make each visit a treat. It also has been a joy to get to know his son, Dr. Mick. Clearly Dr. Mick has the same pleasant manner & attention to detail as his father.

Rosie, the hygienist I've had for years, is the best mix of professional and personal and takes an interest in you as a person. Even other hygienists I've had have been equally as good! This is a great practice. Doctor Mic saved a tooth a few months ago. Today, Dr Diez did a very thorough evaluation of my Dental situation.. He suggested perhaps a three or five tooth bridge to replace the three tooth Bridge currently in place. It's been there many years and may need treatment. The staff is wonderful. Very good communication and technical skills. Hygienist and x-ray technicians were skilled and personable. Great experience. I definitely will be recommending doctors Diez.

I've been looking for a dentist for years now and haven't been able to find one that I felt comfortable with or trusted with working in my mouth. I went in today as a walk-in and I've never had a better experience at the dentist. Every staff member I spoke to was very friendly, I didn't even feel like a new patient. Dr. Mick was knowledgeable, explained everything thoroughly, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Happy to say that I've found a dentist to stay with as long as they are there!

He is extremely thorough, professional, yet very easy to communicate.I had a crown that was done the same day which was good so i didnt have to take another day off of work. He personally called me to check on me. I have since returned for follow up visits and I can not express how gentle and how much of a perfectionist he is from a major procedure to routine visits. I have been a patient of Drs. Diez for several years now. I have to say, this is the very best dental practice in the state. They are so helpful and friendly. .they make you feel like you are part of the family. I love everyone there, from Pam to Melanie (I love how my teeth feel after she gives them a through cleaning) to both Dr. Randall and Dr. Mick.. they are so patient, spending time answering all your questions. Making you feel comfortable and less fearful :). And I have never experienced any pain from any procedures that I had done....had a crown done (loved that I did not have to worry with a temporary till my permanent crown was done..they made it right there), and a root canal done..no pain at all. I started my new journey with them today..I got my Invisalign and am so excited to see how my new smile will look soon... I highly recommend them...they are professional, yet warm and friendly. .I know my teeth are in good hands!

I love my new dentist! Dr. Mick is super nice, knowledgeable, thorough, and down to earth. Visiting his office was a breath of fresh air compared to my last dentist office. My last dentist always tried to upsell and would tell me that I needed deep cleanings and a ton of fillings or crowns, but not Dr. Mick! He only does what is necessary, and I appreciate that. I found Dr. Mick through a referral from one of my colleagues, and even though he is out of network for me, I will continue visiting his office!

I'm Burnadette, age 63 and am petrified of dentist....In December I had a Dental issue so went on the hunt for a new dentist....It took me until March abd 4 dentist later to find AMAZINGDentist DR R DIEZ.... From my very first consultation, I felt at ease because I was being heard for the first time... After just one evaluation, the work began and I couldn't be any happier. In just one visit, I left there with this beautiful smile, as you will see in the first picture and 4 weeks later, today May 14th I went in for my permanent upper and I left there feeling absolutely Amazing, Confident and with a Beautiful Smile. If you're like me and have a major fear of dentist & dental work, I must say, this was a most wonderful experience and I have no regrets whatsoever... Look forward to my final visit in June for my permanent lower bridge & today I left with my permanent upper Vanners and Awesome, Beautiful Smile.... Had a same day crown appointment and it was the most enjoyable dental experience I've ever had, 2.5 hrs in and out w/ permanent crown. The entire experience, the staff, and the Diez family (mom, dad, and son) were amazing! Day after getting my crown I couldn't even tell I had work done.

I was able to get fitted and have my crown implanted in the same day by Dr. Diez. THE BEST DENTIST EVER! I had a cracked tooth- biting on ice--- not wise. Anyway, I searched for a dentist who did Crowns in one appointment and found this practice. Dr. Michael Diez was able to see me the same day for a crown. Very High tech office! Super friendly and helpful. They take care credit for anyone who has it.. I found my new dentist!! I went to Dr. Randall Diez to have two crowns put in. One of the reasons I was so impressed with his service is that he uses state of the art equipment. With this equipment he was able to make the crowns right there in his office. This way you don’t have to use up a lot of your own valuable time going back and forth to the Dentist office until the work is finally done. I was very satisfied with how professional the work was and yet quick and easy. They have a very nice clean office with a very professional and friendly staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Diez to anyone who needs general or cosmetic dental work.

**UPDATE** Just went in for another expert cleaning today. Jessica did an awesome job and was absolutely sweet on top of it. Kudos and thanks for another great job. --+ Oh wow! Thank you, I mean sincerely from the bottom of my heart! Great job! I broke a molar on Thursday and my mom said her dentist was really good. Now, I can't afford dental work which is how I ended up with a broken molar in the first place. I usually go to Tampa Family Health, but their waiting room is a COVID-19 pit. The bill at General & Cosmetic Dentistry of Tampa was cheaper than I was quoted at the ghetto dentist and it was all-in-one trip too. They got me in right away. Initially Dr. Diez thought I might need a root canal as well as a crown, but was able to do it without the root canal saving me a significant amount of money! I didn't have to make a second to to come back, the crown was 3D printed right there in the office and fit perfectly. Dr. Diez was very careful not to hurt me and took the extra time I needed to get completely numbed up since I have an odd resistance to the numbing agent. I really appreciate that he worked with me on that. In my experience, dentists can get impatient and start hammering away before the numbing agent takes effect. Dr. Diez made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. There was only one other customer briefly in the waiting room, so I felt like they were very concerned with my health by not exposing me to a potential COVID infection. They all wore masks and cleaned everything. I'm absolutely impressed! I won't be going anywhere else for my dental work.

I was looking for a new dentist after covid and a friend referred me to Dr. Mick at General Cosmetic Dentistry. I can’t say enough about this office (Gunn Hwy). It’s refreshing these days to actually have great customer service and a friendly polite voice answer the phones. You don’t feel like you are burdening anyone for making an appointment. Dr. Mick explained everything so thoroughly and wasn’t trying to sell me on procedures I really didn’t need. When I went over my financial plan they worked every angle to find the right financing and answered all my insurance questions. The hygienists are great and personable. My only complaint is I didn’t find them sooner.

Finally a Dentist and staff that understand and know how to handle patients with dental anxiety. I was treated like family from the first phone interaction. Dr. Mick and the entire staff addressed all my concerns and assisted in prioritizing my treatment plan. The care didn't stop when I was out of the chair. I've had a dentist in Illinois for 40 years, Dr.Michael Diez is better than him! I had an extraction done by Dr, Mick with NO pain afterwards. I am thrilled with my experience. This has to be one of the nicest dentist offices I’ve ever been to. I went in as an emergency because of the pain I was having. They were quick to get me in and offered 2 different options for treatment. Michael Diez & his assistant were awesome! The procedure itself was no fun but they made sure I was as comfortable as they could get me and talked me through everything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!!!

Very nice and clean. The staff is very professional and up to date with all the ways to fix and repair your teeth. The ladies up front at the desk are fantastic. I’ve been going there for years, and haven’t had any problems. If you have major work done, Mrs Diez gives you a call to make sure you’re doing okay. Dr. Diez, As you know, I've been to a myriad of dentists throughout my life. As I researched dentists in Florida, your name was continuously being recommended with an immense amount of positive feedback. I was very apprehensive initially, but was immediately calmed by you and your staff. Being in your office was truly like being at home. Your staff went above and beyond to make my experience wonderful. I was even offered a heated blanket, because your dental assistant noticed I was cold. She later informed me warmed blankets are available with every visit, as the comfort of the patient is of the utmost priority in your office. You treated me like I was family, even went as far as sending me to the lab to ensure my veneers matched the surrounding teeth for a more natural look. It was obvious your intentions are not focused on the financial aspect of dentistry. You truly care about your patients and making them happy. I traveled approximately 2 hours to have you prepare and place veneers and it was all worth it. I would honestly travel from Australia to have work done by you and to interact with your staff again. The professionalism exhibited within your office is one of a kind. Thank you for an amazing experience and making my smile beautiful again. Words can't begin to describe my gratitude. I have been going to Dr. Diez for over 20 years but last week I had a problem and had to have a bridge done and a tooth removed. I had a pin hole surgery and Dr. Diez did an amazing job. He is in expert in Pin Hole and Crowns. He is a Perfectionist when it comes to major dental surgery procedures. I love that about Dr.Diez. He cares about his patients. and his Hygienist are wonderful, Melanie, Rosie and Tiffany in the other office. and Julie and Clarissa dr assistants. today 10/25/2022 went for Teeth cleaning and the hygienist are awesome Tiffany and Melanie and Rosie and the staff members. cant wait til Dental implant. will do another review.

Everyone is so friendly, yet professional, at General and Cosmetic Dentistry of Tampa! Yesterday, Dr. Michael Diez (Dr. Mick) put permanent retainers on my upper and lower teeth. He was extremely patient with me and my myriad of questions both yesterday and at my initial appointment a couple weeks ago. I interacted with Lori, Julia, and Claudia, yesterday, and they were exceptionally friendly and very competent. I will now be going there for all my dental needs. If there was an option to rate General and Cosmetic Dentistry of Tampa 10 stars, I would! 😀

I am so happy I found this office! I am new(wish) to the Tampa area and had been putting off finding a dentist because I was scared of being judged for having so many dental problems so young. After breaking a front tooth I had no choice but to find someone to fix it and being a completely new patient Dr. Diez fit me in 2 hours after I called, after a Holiday weekend, on a Monday. The entire staff was so friendly and made me feel so welcomed and I really feel that I am in good hands here and will finally get the smile I've been wanting. I am so happy I am now a patient of this office and just wish I had found it sooner!

The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They remember you even though you come most likely twice a year. The dentist experience was something I dreaded for most of my life, but coming to Dr. Diaz has changed that. The conversations while getting my teeth cleaned are always fantastic. Dr. Diaz and his son have worked on multiple teeth of mine and the outcome has been great. They follow up and keep track of my problematic teeth to further prevent damage. I could not recommend anyone seeing another dentist. Just overall, a great experience out of one I generally do not like.

I have gone to other dental offices in the past, and many of them made me feel uncomfortable, especially with invasive procedures. If you are looking for implant work, periodontal work or just a normal cleaning, you got to go see Dr. Randall Diez and his office staff. I just received my tooth implant (lower left quad) and it feels amazing. No numbing agent was required because Dr. Diez gave me a step by step documents on how to get the best results. the offices staff is very friendly and knowledgeable in what they do. Tampa is very lucky to have him practice in the Gunn Highway area.

Dr. Diaz and his staff are absolutely amazing! Family owned and locally operated, this is what you want out of your local dentist. Respectful and straightforward, they do everything in their power to make sure you have clean and comfortable teeth. His son Dr. Mick is wonderful when Dr. Diaz isn't available and the hygienists are gentle and thorough (props to Melanie and Claudia). Lori & and the front staff are so nice and up front with any situation or issues. I've had cleanings and root canels with them and will continue to use Dr Diaz and co for the foreseeable future!

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!! If I could I would give this dentist 0 stars. I went to Dr.Randall Diez in 2019 because I wanted to crown all my teeth. First, I found it strange that Dr.Diez could do a couple root canals as well as crown almost all my upper teeth (minus two) within a little over 2 hours. A year and a half after getting the crowns done I noticed they were turning grey. I went back to Dr.Diez to see if he would fix the work and he told me he would take the crowns off but wouldn't replace them if they broke. Well, all those grey teeth were actually rotting teeth!!! As of recently, 2 of the crowns he has done have literally came off my teeth!!!!! I have a metal taste in my mouth as well as other health problems stemming from his shoddy work. In addition, I believe he also overcharged me for the work. Please, do not go here.

Dr. Michael is top of the line with bed-side manner! He did oral surgery on my 19 year old and used such care , consideration and calmed her fears. Hes very skilled at getting the surgery complete! I recently started treating with Dr. Diez and staff. In addition to having a problem with an old root canal, it had been several years since I had been to the dentist due to a pretty bad dental phobia, so I was long overdue for cleanings, etc. On recommendation of a friend, I took the plunge and made an appointment. Best decision I made. I have to say that there has never really been any pain associated with my visits. I have had the tooth with the root canal pulled, 2 crowns (love that the crowns can be made on the same visit), and several cleanings. Will soon be going in for an implant in the area of the pulled tooth. Dr. Diez and his staff have all been great. Extremely kind from the first phone call. I still have a knot in my stomach when I have to go in, and I probably always will, but I also know that I am in great hands. No more bad dreams of teeth falling out for me.

I was referred to this dentist office by my boss who has been coming here for years and now I know why. This is a family dentist unlike those corporate dental offices where you feel like a number. Family owned practice (father & son). I would highly recommend Dr. Mick (the son) and the whole team. I have been seeing Dr. Mick for a few years now and have had A LOT of work done. A plus I found is they do same day crowns so none of this two appointment BS for a crown. They are caring, kind, knowledgeable, and flexable. Never a long wait to get in especially when you're in pain or there is an emergency. They always explain what they are doing and look out for your well being. They take their time and sit with you to go over a treatment plan and finances. I have never been dissatisfied. If you're looking for a dentist, try this practice. You won't be disappointed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Diez since 2015, and i will say this is the best dental practice i have been a patient of. Dr. Diez saved my 4 front teeth after a botched crown procedure from another dental practice. I was in excruciating pain and my crowns fell out. He fixed everything and made my teeth look great. I have used General & Cosmetic Dentistry for crowns, root canals, cavity repair, and cleanings. I can say they are true professionals and artists at their craft.

My old dentist passed away a few years back and I struggled to find a new dentist that was as knowledgeable, caring, and friendly until I came across Dr. Diez and his staff. Right when you walk in you get a warm greeting and that experience continues all the way until you walk out the door. Dr. Diez takes care of everything in house - anything I’ve ever needed done has been taken care of in his office. This wasn’t the case for many dentists I have been at in the past who would refer you out to other specialists, surgeons, etc. If you are in the market for a new dentist I would highly recommend Dr. Diez.

Very nicely handled by DR. Diez , I had a severe infection one of my right bottom 3rd teeth. I had to go for extraction , I was too much scared. But both the doctor’s operated me very nicely. I appreciate both of them. I would surely visit next time n recommend others to visit the Doctor. Its 3rd day of my procedure done. I am not feeling a little pain till now. Thank you alot.

I came here for a second opinion after another dentist recommended what turned out to be a completely unnecessary procedure. Dr Diez was great at explaining the situation and helped resolve my issue in a much easier, and cheaper, way. He also performed some fillings and they were practically painless. There are Dentists & then there are BETTER Dentists.. I broke a filling & had to get some emergency work done. I had a hard time getting an appointment with anyone for emergency repair. I finally get an appointment and I go to a dentist and he tells me that he's just going to do an evaluation and set up an appointment for someone else to do the repair! I asked him why not do the repair now because it hurts? He said that he couldn't do it! So I just wasted 2 hours driving an extra 40 miles to get to someone that I can get an appointment with but couldn't do anything! I was very upset! I left that office and went straight to Randall Diez. With no appointment I explained the situation to them and to my surprise they accepted me in because they knew I was hurting. I walked in so angry and I left so happy! I cannot say enough about these people , they went out of their way to help me get it taken care of. Now here's the real kicker! I had to have a crown done, where else can you go that is capable of doing the entire job including making the new crown in one appointment! They have the equipment necessary to get this job done in one appointment instead of making someone wait to have the new crown made somewhere else. Not to mention this is a second generation dentist working here. These people have the best bedside manner of any dentist office I've ever been in. I hate the dentist because it always means pain for me and they took the time to take care of me properly and I cannot say thank you enough! Job well done guys!

What a professional dental experience. From the moment my wife and I entered the office in Lutz, we felt at home. Not to mention the customer service over the telephone; Julie and her crew were natural at their craft of welcoming us to their family for patients. Sara, took me under her care and left no stones unturned in eliminating my anxiety. There was no rush to get me in and out; the right pace was set to allow me to completely understand treatment and payment plans. Pain, what pain! With all the hardware I lost in my mouth, I should be crying like a baby but, Dr. Diez aggressive plan worked; no pain during and after surgery. Best Dentist in Tampa and well done. I hate the thought of the dentist and this placed has changed my mindset which is hard to do being I’m 45 and have tried several in the area. If you try these guys even for a simple cleaning you’ll understand. The whole office is awesome and Pam will make sure that you show and the Dr has called after larger issues. Who does that any more? Everyone that I came in contact with from the front desk up until I saw the dentist were polite, professional and knowledgeable. They explained what procedure they were doing and the reason why. After completing the exam they explained what they had found and suggested treatment options. Felt no pressure. Today was my second visit...interacted with different employees but the results were the same...excellent.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Diez for many years now, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. I’ve had bad experiences with dentists before, and I came here for the first time based on a coworker’s recommendation with a dental emergency. I feel bless having found Dr. Diez, he is out of this world!!! Let's face it......no one like to go to the dentist. Most of us are even scare of dentists I mean how could anyone really like going to get their teeth drilled right? I've had some very horrible experiences with dentists in the past, and I'm terrified of dental work. Wait....,---- correction: I USED TO BE terrified of dental work. .... If you've ever had any anxiety about seeing a dentist, I would strongly recommend coming here so they can change your mind! - I have never experienced a dental visit quite like this in my life. Seriously the best dentist I've ever encountered. He's very gentle, thorough and efficient at his job. He and his wonderful staff made an actually PLEASANT experience for me.... Yes, I actually used the word Pleasant describing a dentist office... Hard to believe! I got a cleaning before , I used to hate cleaning but the hygienist was so gentle I hardly had any pain at all. I'm not too sure how they do it. I thought I'd need sedation in order to get over my fears, but I got through a filling here with no Novocain at all. I was completely at ease. I used to avoid the dentist for years, but now I actually don't mind going to the dentist..... I feel absolutely no anxiety coming here at all, which is shocking since the thought of going to the dentist used to keep me up all night in fears. A dentist visit that was actually enjoyable??? I'm still in disbelief !! Thank you dr. Diez, you that man!!

Being a certified scuba diver, I was in search for a dentist that had knowledge of the potential impacts that dental work or unresolved dental problems could have at 3 atmospheres below, which most dentists don't Understand, and Dr. Dietz helped me out with that. Dr. Dietz and his Team are very unique in the level of patient care they provide, which unfortunately is hard to find these days. This is the first time I've been to a dentist that I have been completely relaxed during treatment. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, and personal interest is taken with each patient making you feel like family. I have had a root canal, cap and cleaning so far with no pain and would have had to go to 3 different specialists to get the work done. Everything was handled for me in the same day, and I was home before rush hour trafffic! The efficiency and thoroughness of the treatment provided is commendable. There's no hidden costs, and each treatment is thoroughly explained In a private office setting, and provided with a written treatment plan and details of what your insurance company will pay, all before you leave. There's no pressure to get the work done. It's hard to find good medical treatment it seems these days. I have recommended Dr. Dietz and team to everyone I know. Impressive medical credentials, professional, efficient, knowledgeable, years of experience, and care about what's best for the patient and not the pocketbook, is what Dr. Randall Dietz and Team are about. And they support our troops!

I was searching for a new Dentist, one with Cerec technology.. a friend mentioned Dr. Diez and after reading his rave reviews and testimonials, my decision was made. I was facing some challenging and intimidating dental work and was super stressed. From the moment I entered the office I felt as if I were at home, safe at home. He and his staff treated me with such personal care, respect and professionalism with a welcoming, non-judgemental manner. Best dental experience I have ever encountered! Recently I moved from Tallahassee to the Tampa Bay area with preexisting cosmetic dental procedures that needed to be addressed. I was warmly welcomed as a new patient and was given multiple referrals and options to oral surgeons in the area to address my existing condition. Dental Implants. After my recovery from the initial procedure Dr. Diez and his team implemented the crowns all in one appointment. Pam at the front desk took very good care of me, going above and beyond overnighting a specific part for my implants so that an appointment reschedule wasn't needed. Very freiendly and accommodating! Furthermore, one of the hygienists, Clarissa, who aided Dr. Diez with the installation of my dental implants was also very friendly and made the the entire process more enjoyable. Even Mrs. Diez (Dr. Diez's wife) called me the night after the procedure to follow up on my well being and to see if I had any other questions! Fantastic all around staff and they really take the time to get to know you personally. I have found my dentistry team for life!

I first went to see Dr.Michael Diaz about four months ago and I was a legit hot mess, I am almost 50 and have a real bad dental phobia and have had a lifetime of poor dental health which landed me in the hospital for 6 days with sepsis and had to have all my teeth pulled out so like I said I was a hot mess when I had my first visit, I can honestly say from the first call I made I just knew I found the right place. I don't feel like I was judged in any way which I thought was going to be the case. Dr M. Diaz as well as all the staff genuinely wanted to help me and made me feel at ease immediately as they knew I was in bad shape. Here I sit almost 5 months later with a beautiful smile that I never had before and could not be happier, I was given my life back and will be forever grateful, I could write so much more about all the care and support I received as I now have my confidence back after it being gone for way to long. If you are like me with an awful dental phobia this is where you need to go. I have found the dentist I will go to for the rest of my life and I can honestly say I no longer have a dental phobia. Staff is so nice and friendly! They don't try to upcharge on procedures or extra cleanings that aren't necessary like other dentists I've gone to. Highly recommend!!
