I recently took my Golden Retriever, Diplo, to Claws & Paws Grooming Salon, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the moment we walked in, the ladies at the front desk were incredibly sweet and welcoming. Diplo can be a bit anxious around new people, but the groomers knew exactly how to make him feel comfortable and at ease. The grooming itself was top-notch. Diplo came out looking absolutely stunning! His coat was shiny and soft, and they did an excellent job trimming his nails and cleaning his ears. The groomers were very thorough and took their time to ensure every detail was perfect. They even gave him a cute little bandana, which was a nice touch. What impressed me the most was the level of care and attention they gave to Diplo. They treated him like he was their own pet, which really put my mind at ease. The salon was clean and well-maintained, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of service provided. Overall, I highly recommend Claws & Paws Grooming Salon for anyone looking for a professional and caring grooming service for their furry friend. Diplo and I will definitely be returning!

Claws and Paws saved us from embarrassment! I normally do the inbetween upkeep on my 8 month old Standard Poodle, Calliope. This time she was do for a full groom so I decided to give it a go... I called Claws and Paws hoping they could save what I had ruined. After arriving and seeing other Poodles there, I felt much more confident that they could even out her coat and topknot. If you are a Poodle owner who has ever tried to groom them yourself, you know it can be challenging to get puppy coat to cut evenly. They were so nice and welcoming! The ladies spent several minutes making my girl (and me!) feel more at ease being left in a strange place. The cost was only a few dollars more than what I have paid for her past groomings, but I'd say the quality of the groom reflected that. Now we can attend our weekly classes without shame. We will definitely be back! Thank you Claws and Paws!

I recently took my dog, Kaneki, to Claws and Paws on November 2nd for grooming, and the experience was beyond disappointing. I dropped him off at 1:00 pm, carefully explaining his specific needs: his anxiety, past trauma with grooming, fear of strangers, aggressiveness with his paws, and his allergies. I also explained the way I wanted his tail cut. Despite sharing all of this information, things quickly went downhill. A male employee attempted to pet him immediately, which startled Kaneki and caused him to snap. Even after I explained his background and behavior, they continued trying to pick him up without adjusting their approach. A female employee eventually took a gentler approach, and I felt reassured enough to leave after she assured me I would be contacted with any updates or concerns. Hours passed without a single update. I tried calling at 3:33 pm and again at 4:08 pm, but both calls went straight to voicemail. Growing concerned, I arrived back at Claws and Paws at 4:38 pm to check on Kaneki. I saw him on the grooming table, visibly scared, and overheard the groomer yelling. She was saying she hated dogs like him and would never take another dog like him again. This was extremely upsetting, especially as I had specifically explained his behavior and anxieties. When I noticed my dog's eye was bloodshot red as I was leaving, I went back in to ask about it. The groomer claimed his mask caused him to have difficulty breathing, leading to him thrashing. This explanation didn’t sit right with me, as Kaneki wears his mask regularly on walks without any issues. Later, my previous groomer confirmed that his eye likely turned red due to them pulling too tightly on his leash during grooming, possibly making him thrash and injuring his eye. Kaneki is a high-needs dog who requires patience and understanding. If Claws and Paws couldn't meet those needs, they should have been upfront about it. This experience was distressing for both me and my dog, and I would not recommend this place to anyone with a dog who needs specialized care. P.S If you consider this slander, please take me to court.

I need to take a moment to acknowledge the AMAZING work done here ! From the friendly , charismatic service right when you walk in to her beautiful well trained dogs making my puppy feel so comfortable! She took care of my baby Autumn who is 10 months old and wasn’t comfortable with groomers and yet she was able to deliver exceptional service , make her look EXACTLY like the picture I sent as reference and made it the easiest decision to make her my baby’s forever groomers ! I can’t recommend this place enough , if you want to be heard as a dog parent and want your baby to be safe and treated amazing , this is the place to go.

We love bringing our dog Jovi here for his grooming. They can always get us in quickly and have patience for him. He’s a big dog with crazy doodle fur, but they always take great care of him. He smells fresh for weeks after his groom!

One of the worst grooming experiences. My pet was there for over 8 hours and I received him with blood all over his body. Right before I got there, she tried to spray my pup with alcohol so I wouldn't see it. He had bloody ears and a bloody body. Please listen to the negative reviews from this place and spare your pet the trauma.

First time taking my dog to another groomer besides his regular one we got to and they were just amazing. The atmosphere is just welcoming and full of friendly staff. My dog Tanuki usually is a little more barking when it comes to seeing people and other animals however they were so nice and friendly that he didn’t make one peep. He walked in and made so many friends and I’m very glad I got to see him comfortable when I had to leave him somewhere. I know that he will be happy and safe when I leave him and will be back for sure as well bringing my other dog to make this my go to groomer. 10/10 Thank you

Karina is undeniably fantastic. I have been taking my fur baby to her for years. I trust no one else with him. I always know that he will be safe and loved. You hear horror stories about how groomers can abuse dogs. Rest assured that if you take your fur baby to Claws And Paws he/she will be well cared for.

I highly recommend Claws and Paws! Karina did an amazing job grooming my Goldendoodle Murphy, and she takes the time to listen to what I want and then follows through. Karina and Casey are very friendly and make not only Murphy feel comfortable and welcomed, but they also make me feel the same way from the moment we walk in the door. Murphy LOVES going there, and I LOVE taking him there. Thank you Karina and Casey (Claws and Paws), you are the best! 🐕‍🦺

Great service. Clean facility. Quick turnaround. I brought my 3 mth old puppy here for his 1st ever professional grooming and his hair cut came out better than I could have imagined. They treated him with so much care from the minute we walked into the door, and he did not seem frightened at all when I came to pick him up. As a first time pet owner, I would recommend this place to anyone. Definitely coming back!

Came here for a nail trim for my cat. Wonderful and quick service, I was in and out in ten minutes. They treated my fur baby like one of their own and have kindness for all things furry! Don’t waste your time going to a corporate pet store where cats can only be groomed during certain times. Better service for about the same cost as a nail trim from Petco.

Took my pure bred English Bull dog there for grooming and came home to find my dog's claw was bleeding pretty bad. Called to let them know and was told to put some home made remedy to fix it. I stopped the bleeding myself but will not be going back. All breeds of dogs are different and Bulldogs use their claws quite a bit when they walk as they tend to pull so you have to be careful how they are clipped. Other than that, very friendly. I'm sure my dog didn't enjoy the trip.

This was my third time taking my dogs to this groomer who I think do a very good job at grooming them. What I do not like is the additional charge they add to your bill if your dog or dogs happened to have an accident even after you have walked them. I was shocked to be told that it was an additional clean up fee because of that. When I said I didn’t agree with it and have never been charged that before anywhere else the response was oh well we run a clean grooming salon. I said I don’t agree and will certainly find another groomer going forward. I am in the waiting area putting their harnesses on and I hear them in the back talking about it. I could not believe that they would talk about a customer within ear shot because they don’t agree with you adding a fee that no other groomer I know does. I said to them on my way out the door that if you want to talk about customers maybe you should wait until they leave. The owner proceeded to scream at me saying I should take care of my dogs. Needless to say it is evident they have no customer or business skills and feel that because it is privately owned they can say whatever and however they choose to customers and do not believe in customer retention. I can assure you it cost a lot more money to get new customers than retaining the ones you have.

I am a Bi-Coastal from San Deigo and Tampa. I love this place and I recommend Karina to everyone I know for the special love she gives my children. I would never trust my pets with anyone else. My kids are retired show dogs and she makes them look like they are ready for Westminster dog show.

Was very happy with our experience! The owner was incredibly responsive to my last-minute request for a cat grooming, and her staff kept me up to speed with the delays they were experiencing for pickup. I found the shop quite clean for a pet salon, and it was clear that the animals were treated well.

I asked for a full grooming. They shaved our double coat dog. You aren't supposed to shave a double coat dog as their outer coat protects them from sun, heat, and cold. This is unacceptable and any groomer should know not to do that. I will not be taking my dog there ever again and I do not recommend anyone else take their dog there.

I was traveling in Florida when I needed to have my dog groomed. I was advised that Claws and Paws was the place to go. I was greeted and taken care of with the utmost professionalism.
