Owner was rude to me about my pets claws said I should get them done more often when they didn’t cut them right, he just got them done 6 weeks ago! I’m not sure why they responded they don’t know me but they do but most people say that when they know. Talk better to people… definitely never going there again.

I have been bouncing around groomers all over Tampa for the four years I’ve lived here but this past year I’ve been consistently going back to this one! My requirements for groomers are simple: regular pricing ($10 for nails, $50 for small dog grooming), short enough trimming, and no knicks when grooming. I’ve been understanding with groomers in the past but this groomer has set the bar high. They always follow my request for a short cut, the dogs have their own area to walk around in not just a crate, the prices are normal, I have never seen a Knick on my dog, and the service is actually very quick. They always have slots available. I drive 25 minutes from my home by USF to go to this groomer’s every 2-3 months. I’d board my dogs here too if I needed to. They have cameras and you can look at them when your dog is boarded there. I included pictures of various cuts they did on Ella, and the black dog Luna is quite the cry baby with nail trims but they are very patient and get the job done.

DoggyDay Inn is the best daycare and grooming service I’ve ever experienced for my dog. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, providing personalized care that makes me feel confident my dog is in great hands. The facility is clean and filled with activities, ensuring my dog always comes home happy and tired from a fun day. I also love that they have cameras available so I can watch my dog throughout the day, giving me extra peace of mind. The grooming service is equally excellent – my dog always looks fantastic and smells great after each visit, with extra attention given to his comfort. I highly recommend DoggyDay Inn to any dog owner looking for top-quality care!

This place is great and super convenient. I mainly use their grooming services because of their cage free set up and great service. They keep notes on my particulars and always do a great job. Also, they only keep my pup for a short time versus all day, which is important to me. Highly recommend.

If your looking for a new grooming spot this is the spot. 1st time taking my dog. Loved my pups cut. Staff did an amazing job on him. Great experience... not only do they groom they have daycare. Worth the money.

Our experience with DoggyDay Inn was not positive and we can not in good faith provide a recommendation. Our 2 dogs stayed for 8 nights total. One of our dogs has an existing slip disc issue and because of that we decided not to have interaction with other dogs during the daycare portion. We purposefully booked the largest room there for our 2 pups to have plenty of room and freedom. We were also assured that they would be taking out for potty breaks every 2 hours. All seemed good and we felt confident our pups would be in the best hands. We even added Camera access for the entirety of their stay.
Unfortunately after the first night our disappointment began with them. Firstly, they didn’t take them out every 2 hours as we were told. Last potty break was between 5-6pm before lights out for the evening and the first potty break was after 8am. Between those two potty breaks, maybe they took them out once or twice in between. Which was totally different then what they posted on their website for boarding schedules and what they’d told us.
Secondly, I didn’t see our dogs getting attention or affection from the workers. Our dogs started having diarrhea(which may cause serious health issues) after 3 nights and they had it until we picked them up. 5 nights in total. They never informed us once about it during the stay or even at pickup.
Thirdly, They switched their room to a smaller room..much smaller room, WITHOUT giving us a notice. We still don’t know why they did that because they never talked about it to us. If we didn’t have the access to the camera, I guess we’d have never known. They did charge us for the smaller room instead of the room we booked but that doesn’t make it OK for them to switch the room without notice and not informing the owners at pick up.
Lastly, We had to throw everything away that we brought for our dogs stay: 2 beds,a blanket,toys, food and bowls. The beds were covered with poop stains and also the toys. I couldn’t believe they gave us back chew toys covered with feces. Also, the bag that we dropped off with their food had ants in it when we picked up.
Overall, It was a scary,horrible and very disappointing experience. It was our first time using DoggyDay Inn and will be the last. They’ve lost our trust and ultimately a customer.

I took my dog there when I first got him for just a sanitary trim, that was great and he did great for being a young puppy. It’s been a few months and he needed a real haircut this time. He is a pom mix so I was really scared for the haircut to be too short or shaved. They really listened to me and did such a great job!!!! He looks sooo good. I highly recommend this place. Love supporting small business and they are far better than the other large chain pet stores around here.

I brought my two 7-month-old pit bulls, a boy and a girl, to DoggyDay Inn Resort, Daycare & Grooming. I informed the staff that my girl was in heat, and they assured me it was not an issue. However, my boy, who is usually friendly, didn't get along with the other dogs, likely because the girl was in heat. They conducted a stress test, which he didn't pass, but said they would wait for the owner's decision.
When I went to pick him up, the owner abruptly told me he could no longer stay there. There was no explanation, no friendly discussion, just a blunt "no" and that was it. This lack of communication and abruptness was very disappointing and unprofessional.
Additionally, the facility was overcrowded with dogs. While I was there, I witnessed a dog fight break out, which seemed to be of no concern to the staff. This raises serious questions about their ability to manage and care for the dogs properly.
Overall, my experience was very disappointing, and I would not recommend DoggyDay Inn Resort, Daycare & Grooming to anyone who values clear communication, professionalism, and a safe environment for their pets. They have my contact information if they would like to discuss this matter further.

We asked for our dog to not interact with other dogs. Our puppy now has a severe eye infection. I was not notified. I’m not sure why care was not taken but please use caution with this place when considering boarding. Lovey stayed Feb 4-6 it’s his second time staying so I am not rating the wrong place.

Our dog gets so excited when we say she's going to daycare! Everybody here is so nice and you can tell they truly love all the dogs.
I've also boarded her with them for almost 2 weeks when I was out of town, and it was great to know she was in a safe place with people that I trust.
We've been bringing her to daycare here practically every day for around 6 months or so and have zero complaints or issues.

My dog, Anabelle goes in looking like a rag a muffin dog and comes out looking like a refined little lady. They always stay to the cut I like her to have...plus I left her in for half day of play and she came home fully tired out. Great job...love it!!

I had my 2 older Bichon Frise dogs fully groomed. This was my second time as I had always used a mobile groomer. They did an amazing job!! I was so happy since they were definitely overdue. I could not have been happier as were my pups. So glad to have found Doggy Day Inn!!

I’ve been taking my Pomeranian there for a while now and they always do an amazing job! He used to never like getting groomed but they do so well with him! It’s awesome because you can also see everything they do, and how they treat the animals as there is a big window which is awesome! They are also kennel free which is greatly appreciated (:

My puppy loves coming to play at DoggyDay Inn!
I've always used their grooming services and appreciate their cage free approach because you don't see that at most places.
I recently decided to use their boarding services as I had to travel. I'm very cautious as to where I leave my puppy and I couldn't have been more pleased. The staff was helpful and attentive. You can tell they really do care for the pups. I felt at ease leaving my 6 month old puppy.

Used this place to groom our two retrievers. Scheduled my next appt when we picked up dogs for Saturday March 2 because we had a very large adult and dog gathering at our home that afternoon. Upon arrival we were told we weren't on the schedule until Monday. I explained we specifically scheduled for this day as we had an event planned. Employee pulled out the paper files and did in fact confirm that we did schedule for Saturday March 2. Proceeded to tell me they were full and unable to honor our appointment, after getting the owner on the phone the owner refused to honor the appt with no resolution just a sorry and good luck. I am now driving all over town trying to get my dogs groomed same day. What a joke, will never be returning
Also to note, the previous time here they shaved my retriever/collie mix to look like a poodle. He was on the tail end of many jokes for the next few weeks so we had only scheduled baths this time

I absolutely loved this place! The owners/staff are friendly, clean and take pride in their business. This is a new groomers on Northdale that just opened last week. When I came in for my pomeranian's first appointment we were given a tour of the place. It's definitely doggy paradise! They offer daycare and boarding services too. I was so impressed with the cage-free set up and little details they had, I definitely plan on using the boarding services on my next vacation. An hour later Marley was ready to be picked up. His hair cut was perfect and he smelled great. I was exceptionally happy with how he turned out and plan to make this place his permanent spot! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Doggy day Inn grooming did a fantastic job grooming my golden doodle, we've had her for 4 years and this is the best she's ever looked, and it was our 1st visit! Great experience, and it doesn't take much, but all too often businesses fail to deliver quality and customer service! Doggy day Inn exceeded my expectations, and it was a competitive price!

While on vacation in Tampa, we took our twelve year old cockapoo to this great groomer, twice. We were very pleased with how well they groomed our dog, even down to the insides of his ears. We’ve taken him to about three different groomers in Maryland and they’ve never cleaned the insides of his ears. We thought that’s how they were supposed to look, as we’ve had since he was 6 weeks old and like I said, the groomers didn’t clean his ears. DoggyDay Inn Resort, Daycare & Grooming went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the end results. After picking up from the second grooming appointment, we called them within a couple of minutes and asked if they could cut closer around his face. The nice gentleman said sure bring him back in and we will take care of it for you. Within five minutes the groomer was done. We wish they were located close by us. Thank you for a superb service!

Had a very good experience. First time we have left dogs overnight. I like the smaller amount of dogs to be boarded here against a high volume kennel. I feel the dogs get more attention. The staff were happy to follow any special instructions regarding feeding/medication. We also had them groomed and bathed before pickup. Great place for our small dogs.

I put off getting my poodle groomed for a few months due to an unpleasant experience in the past at another groomer. Doggy Day Inn was referred by somebody that lives in my subdivision. I dropped my poodle off this morning. Was so happy to see their setup. Dogs playing in large areas. No dogs were kept in kennels like other grooming companies. In the past I would get her groomed at other places and it would take up to 6 hours. Most of the time I'm sure she was in a kennel. Doggie Day Inn and resort does not use kennels. I dropped her off at 8:00 and by 9:50 she was ready to go. And she looked beautiful. This is definitely the new place that I will be taking my dog from here on out to get groomed. Thank you for taking such good care of her.

They are great, I take Max every month for grooming and the always ask if you're satisfied with the look and do any corrections if I asked them to. Also I saw how the other dogs reacts to the workers there and they looks extremely happy and that warms my heart.

They did a terrible job with my pure breed Cairn Terrier. They obviously don’t know what they are doing. I was very specific with what I wanted and the way this breed should be groomed. Do your dogs a favor and do not take them. They need to train the staff better and actually look at the notes of what they are supposed to do.

Thank you for answering. BTW, this was only my second time there and what they did is NOT a traditional cairn terrier (look it up). She looks more like a westie. Which is completely different.
The groomer is obviously inexperienced. My dog’s hair will grow back, I just hope her coat won’t be messed up.

I LOVE this place. My baby stayed there for 6 days while I was out of town and we loved it!!!! The owner was so nice sending me pictures of her. The facility is very clean. They are doing a great job taking care of your dogs, and the access to live cameras is a plus!

Great prices and they always take great care of our dogs. Very considerate of the dogs in terms of grouping in the playpens, they also try to have all the dogs socialize together and they walk the dogs outside on top of that if you decide to board them. I live 30 minutes away but I gladly will make that commute every time.

Clean facility, helpful employees, my dog came out nice and clean. I only had one experience here but now it’s been months I’ve been trying to retain another appointment and I am being told they are not doing large dogs anymore I have a 70lb labradoodle who’s very mild mannered and well behaved but I guess there is only one person who specializes in doodles and she’s no longer comfortable doing what they call “standard size” dogs. That’s fine but what are they doing to try to get someone who can do this. I’ll have to just go outside of Carrollwood for a hair cut..

Ingrid is the best groomer in town ! She has cared for my two pups for many years now . She always provides special attention to my Siberian Husky Miko, and provides the utmost care for his grooming needs . I am so happy that she now offers boarding and day care services , which I will be using at the end of the month . The resort is super cute and modern , with a Tahitian theme and a very clean environment. I recently moved to New Port Richey , and will always make the drive to doggy day inn because I know I will receive the best service for my pup from Ingrid . Thank you Ingrid and team for always treating Miko like family !

Normally we get good service there but not today. Bear had an appointment at 1pm and I told the staff he has separation anxiety to call me when his grooming was completed. 2 hours later still no call so my wife tries to call on numerous attempts but no one answered. Finally, someone picked up and said Bear is ready. My wife asked why no one called but again was told he is ready. When she arrived, there was no one at the front desk and 4 other dog owners waiting to be helped. Not a very happy regular customer right now 👎

We looked into multiple places to leave our 3 year old lab, Arya. They were super responsive and polite on the phone. We had a meet and greet in advance of Arya's weekend overnight. She stayed 2 nights, and everything was wonderful. Great value since she had her own room, doggy bed, and playtime during the day!

My dog is 10 and has major separation anxiety. We have never used doggie daycare or boarding. He doesn't even like being left with grandparents. However he LOVED this place. He played well with the dogs. When staff saw him getting tirerd they placed him alone. He usually trys to jump out peoples arms to us, he didn't here. He also trys to get out of vets office quickly if he doesn't like it. This place he was runing in to and was taken time to say bye and leave. Lol

I have been bringing my 6lb Yorkie to the Doggy Day Inn for 7 years since my baby was a puppy. Ingrid, Gustavo and their entire staff are wonderful people and truly love and take the best care of all animals in their care.

The premises are clean. The staff is excellent. My dog loves it here. Hands down this place is the best. My fur baby is ready to jump out the car when she sees where we are. They are very patient, understanding and helpful.

Our dog LOVES it at DoggyDay Inn Resort! She spent 4 nights and she made friends both canine and human. LOL.
They evaluated our dog's personality and matched her with other compatible dogs to enjoy each other during playtime. DoggyDay Inn Resort is small and personal allowing for each dog to have the attention that they love.

Avoid or wait until they train staff better. Took my dog for a simple nail trim and glands. He was limping for days after because they were cut short. Now we have to see a vet for his glands possibly being infected or cut. Will be going elsewhere.

Ive been taking my Chihuahua to this business since he was a puppy, The gentlemen at the front < i believe the owner > is the nicest person around, Their facility is always so clean and smells great even when they have the resort filled! The staff is amazing and so friendly n ive tryed other locations when he was a puppy and now < about a week ago from this post> but my dog wont let anyone eles touch him and will growl and try to attack other groomers , Hes a PTSD service pet n i appreciate the care they have for him while hes being looked after even so minor as just nails or ears teeth ext , His nails MAY BE a LITTLE sharp after a cut BUT after i walk him for a day they smooth out just fine , Usual has a little handkerchief on after and hes always so happy ! The prices are amazing and so affordable, Their is a window where you can see whats going on at all times aswell! Give them a try!

This doggy day in resort is a wonderful place for dogs. My king loves coming here they treat him wonderfully. If you need a place to board your dog then this is the place to do it.

This little Chihuahua - mix is always so happy to go to play, or stay overnight!
The staff are all, so loving & caring, & it's so nice & clean, and I do not have to worry about my fur-baby, when I am away!

Our Mini Aussie Maggie absolutely loves going to daycare at DoggyDay Inn. The staff is always so friendly and Maggie runs towards the door when we arrive vs running away like she has done at other area daycares. Can’t recommend them enough!

Called and went over all information over the phone with the workers, including my dogs vaccination records to ensure no issues the morning I would be taking my dog here. The morning I came to check her in, I brought all documentation they needed and they claimed I didn't have the "Bordatella" vaccine for my puppy. I then took her to the vet and the vet looked at her records and explained that the Bronchi-Shield III is a Bordatella vaccination and is recognized as being vaccinated against Bordatella. A quick Google search explains this. I called this place back and they refused to take her and asked me to go back to the vet and get the vet to write a letter that this is the Bordatella vaccine. THIS IS ABSURD.

I had a bad experience here. I took my dog in to get his nails done and the girl came out barely did anything to his nails while I had to hold him I ended up getting cut up from my dogs nails. Never again will I ever go back to this place!!!

I recommend this place 100%. It’s very clean. The staff is great.... and the best of the service are the cameras.
