I purchased the Proplan Complete Chicken and Rice dog food at the Carrollwood location and had to return it due to worms, apparently from moths. I assumed it might be a location-specific issue, so I tried purchasing from another store, Westshore, but unfortunately, I experienced the exact same problem again. This is a serious issue, particularly with a premium-priced product from a trusted brand. I strongly urge Petco, to review its storage and handling processes, as this directly impacts pet health. I will not be purchasing from this store again until I see clear improvements.

We just had the WORST grooming experience at this location! We took our sweet cat to get her nails trimmed for the first time and Mariah, the groomer nicked her nails not once, but MULTIPLE times and did NOT disclose this information to us. We were told that our cat freaked out for “no reason” but when we left we found multiple nails were bleeding and our cat was left traumatized. Do NOT take your cat here!!!

This Petco typically has better products than the local Petsmart. It's obviously poet friendly and the people there are always nice and sincerely interested in the pets.
